Marco was great- we booked quite last minute and he was super helpful! Turned around what could have been a stressful evening. Nice little balcony, central location, air-con fantastic. Kindly provided coffee, and there was a nice little communal kitchen-ette. Again, when we checked out, Marco was fabulous and not only helped book a taxi but let us sit on the terrace in the afternoon after checkout.

The cleaner did come early one morning and was quite insistent on doing her job, felt a bit rushed but not the worst thing.

It was a fantastic location, very clean and comfortable, the room was modern and stylish. The beds were comfortable and cosy and resulted in some great sleep. There were so many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area making it hard to pick which spot to go to! The building itself felt very secure and safe. We just wish the spa was available for our stay.

The included breakfast, although lovely if you want pastries every morning, didn't suit different dietary requirements. The first night we were there, every time the air conditioning was turned on, the power went out in our room. There aren't any staff in attendance, and we resorted to turning the power back on ourselves after finding the fuse box.

With being advertised as a Bed & breakfast - a breakfast would have been nice as opposed to a voucher for one coffee & one croissant at a local cafe. The owner was very helpful and the room was spacious with a small terrace.

As advertised it was a B&B and Spa however no mention that it was an extra 80 euros to use the spa

Beautiful rooms, very chic. A fairly quick walk to the tourism center.

You have to walk up at least 2 flights of stairs with your bag, which is a bit of a drag after traveling. The water in my shower kept moving from hot to cold.

Everything, the room was beautiful with added patio in the back of the lodging. Host Marco was absolutely brilliant, really welcoming. Area is perfect for anyone wanting to visit catania. There wasn't a single negative about this stay

The location was convenient to the historical areas and sites. The breakfast voucher was provided for a nice close-by spot for a good breakfast and coffee. The room was comfortable and quiet and the check-in/check-out was smooth and easy.

One very small thing - the shower drain was very slow and so we had to wait after the first shower to allow the shower area to drain before the second person could shower to avoid the water overflowing.

Great room, clean and with modern decoration. We had an extra single bed in the room and it still felt large. Our room only had a small outside terrace without a view, but fine for us as it also meant it was quiet at night.

We didn't see any staff (no real problem), and it was a bit tricky parking round there.

The location was really great for us, since we like to try out restaurants during our travels, and this neighborhood is filled with great restaurants within 5-10 minutes' walk. Also, most of things to see in Catania were really nearby, so we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms are nice, cleaned everyday by the very nice housekeepers. The Sicilian 40+ degree heat was gladly alleviated with the room's A/C. Unfortunately the heat made it really hard for us to use the rooftop terrace which is a great addition, and if we return in a colder season, we'll gladly make better use of it. We also liked the fact that the breakfast was served by a really good cafe in the city, 3 minutes' walk away. It adds to the experience rather than eating in a boring hotel restaurant. And we would visit that cafe anyway, as it was recommended to us, so it was great to be able to enjoy their coffee and snacks.

The only thing that could maybe be improved is the amount of storage space in the room, but apart from that we didn't mind anything. If we're being picky, maybe the rain shower head needed some descaling and it was a bit tricky to get the water temperature right, but that's pretty much standard whenever we travel. Oh, and I also a bit was surprised that the SPA part of the stay is paid extra, but since we didn't even have time for it, we never bothered anyway.

Cute rooms with lots of space, good restaurants near by.

Advice about parking nearby would have been helpful. Also, the owners may want to have the "Tourist Go Home" graffiti at the end of the alley covered over.

Induced error thinking we will be booking the spa in the price but this comes at and extra price per hour!
