We have stayed at Hotel Sofia before and the stay was excellent. On this booking we were put in Hotel Catanza which is next door. Hotel Sofia is right in the heart of town in a pedestrian area, so traffic was light and noise free. Bed was comfy and clean. The breakfast at Pam Pam cafe was served with a welcoming smile and a wonderful family. I recommend their lunch menu, pastries and coffee.

Before booking, we asked to check in 1 hour early and was told yes, but upon arrival the room wasn't ready. The bathroom needed a good scrub, toothpaste on tiles behind taps, the bottom of the shower edges hadn't been cleaned in a while, lots of limescale on taps, shower doors and tiles.

It was comfortable in the City Center. Sofia is Apart hotel, in the night it is difficult to find it. The building next to H&M store is right building.

The location was great with easy access to the city center. It’s also not far for the buses to go into Siricusa. Easy access to Mount Etna on public transport.

It was a nice hotel very clean. The room is very clean. Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like about it is there was a very bad smell in the bathroom that I think had to do with the plumbing so I had to keep the bathroom door shut. The bathroom was very clean though

The place of the hotel is in the centre of catania. And a very nice hotel and good staff.

The staff, the manager and the whole team is just great. The location is amazing close to everything , easy acces, and most of it, you can see Etna in the morning from the balcony. Wonderful!

It would be lovely to have a kettle in every room ,we asked for one but didn t get one ,its nice to make your own coffe when you get out of bed

Right in the center of the city. Very espcious rooms. Super friendly staff.

The rooms were a little dark, no wiew to the outside (internal backyard). This is located in the second floor, the elevator is tiny, so be careful if you have small children or lots of luggage.

Hotel Sofia is very central and close to everywhere.The staff was really helpful and gentle.The room was fairly big and very clean.The bathroom was spacious as well.Highly recommended.Very good value for money.
