The bedroom was very large with high, detailed ceilings and a view of Etna from the balcony. The furniture was quirkily mismatched but everything was clean. Instructions to get the key seemed long but they were easy to follow. The old-style lift was a bit creepy on day one but I came to enjoy it! Would want to stay here again if I return to Catania.

The street is the main commercial road of the city so can be a little noisy, especially on a Saturday - didn't disturb my sleep but you might want headphones. The shower was ok, but there is no shelf to put a bar of soap on. There are limited-time light switches in the stairs and corridor but I struggled to find them when I arrived the first night.

Beautiful, old building, very clean. Our room was very nice.

1. Their concept of a queen bed was putting two twin beds together, not the best idea. 2. No shelving units in the bathroom for toiletries or in the shower. These are simple to put up and makes a guest's life easier.

Very spacious room, with big bathroom and very comfortable mattrees. location was very central , close to some of the best restaurants in the city, as well as close to main bus stations. Great location from the airport.

very close to everywhere, in the city center. the reception girl was so helpful and nice. really appreciate her service. the room had a nice balcony that had the perfect street view and you can see mount etna from there too.

the only difficulty was that we didn’t have a way to charge our phones with the adapters we have. but the receptionist provided one right away.

Perfect location in center with a view on Etna. Testy fresh sweet breakfast in bistro nearby. Everyday cleaning.

Cold water in the shower and hair dryer which was switching off itself during blowing. Noise from the street.

There was no fridge in the room ... only at the end of the floor... but it was ok

The location was tight in the centre close to everything. The room was clean and the breakfast was in a bar very close.

It was a Little complicate to lock the Door of the room from outside.

Very friendly and helpful staff, helped me book a taxi to the airport, found out if I could pay by card etc. Good breakfasts in the café downstairs. Very nice rooms.

The location in the centre is great for exploring the city, but in the morning it can be very loud. They clean the room everyday but they don't mop or vacuum-clean the floor, so after few days it got quite dirty.

The location was perfect, staff very helpful and friendly. A clean and comfy stay.
