For me and my 6-year old daughter it was very familyfriendly. It was clean and all worked. Funny story: We thought the only lightswitch is right behind the door at the wall. The fan goes on at the same time and if possible we go in the bathroom without using the light. At the last evening my daughter asked me: "Whats this switch for?" It was above the sink and I turned it on. There was also light! That was so funny. The Alibus drives from the aiport and stops at Stesicoro very close to the cityfair. The Croissants were my faforite- bellissimo ♥

Location was excellent. 1min walk to main st Via Mt Etna. Close to shops, restaurants and major tourist attractions. About 30min walk to train and bus station. Airport bus stop was approx 1min walk from accom. Breakfast was great - good choice, freshly baked and great coffee. Host was very hospitable. Room was clean. I only had a single room. Was big enough for 1 person - was like a little convent room! cute.

You are close to restaurants and so noise until late. This did not bother me and you can always shut the window and balcony door.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations thanks to its host: in addition to some great sightseeing tips, he also provided us with beach towels every day and extended our room for free until the evening, as we had a late flight. My friend and I really appreciated that. The room was simple, but it had everything we needed. The location is excellent: a 1-minute walk to the main street of the town, and on the other side, there are plenty of bars and restaurants (the room itself was quiet).

The rooms are quite simple and could use a light cosmetic renovation. But any downsides are easily overshadowed by the host's outstanding hospitality.

The location was excellent! Easy to get to from the airport on the bus. Very secure building with 2 locked gates and a locked door to the building. Wifi was great. Quiet even though it was centrally located. Fresh towels daily. Easy self checkin. Great communication with host. Great value! Would stay here again!

The cleaning products they use in the room are verrrrrry strong smelling. Maybe it’s moth balls? It took a day for the smell to dissipate. They don’t provide much toiletries (only a small shampoo and shower cap, no soap). The bed in room 3 was very squeaky. I think the headboard needs to be fixed/replaced.

There was a fake picture about the breakfast with a big hotel breakfast table, so we were pretty surpised and dissapointed when we saw that the breakfast is totally different as we imagined. It was totally unnecessary because the breakfast was basic but fine, but the fake photo made a bitter feeling in us.

It is a very convenient residence, less than 50 m away from the Aitna pedestrian main road (with many shops), 100m from the Alibus station (from and to the airport), near the Stesicoro area, but in a quiet road. In the area there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The rooms are in the second floor of the building and surprisingly this time there was an elevator recently installed. Another advantage is that the owner Ivan, is staying during the day in something like a reception desk, inside the residence and therefore he can offer a helping hand in whatever you might need. Catania is a relatively small town with a distinct black color of the roads and buildings (due to lava stones) which initially creates a negative impression. But it is also a vivid town with many places to see (there is another church every 100m). It is also a very convenient place for quick excursions to mount Aitna (many excursions are organized), or with the bus Aitna transporti to Taormina and Castelmonte (every hour, 8,5euros return), and Siracusa and Ortigia (every half an hour, 10euros return ).

A relatively good buffet breakfast, with everything you might need, but which could be improved.

Great stay, located in prime location within 20 m to bus stop and many places near where you can eat.Clean rooms, delicious breakfast with fresh pastries straight from the oven made by the really friendly host who helped us with anything we needed during our stay( lots of information rovided and we had a late departure flight on our last day and we left our bags there after check -out. Even received a thoughtful souvenir after we left. We loved visiting Catania.

Great location just off Piazza Stesicoro, ideal for easy access to the old town, Via Etna and also Catania's metro (one stop from the railway station). Staff were very friendly and accommodating and let me access the room prior to checkin time as soon as it was ready. Basic but filling breakfast was a bonus. The room decor was tasteful. Price for a room in centre of Catania with private bathroom and breakfast was very great value.

The bed was a bit squeaky. (I was in room 3).

I stayed 2 nights and hope to return with my sister. The B&B is right in the middle of the city centre, walking distance to all the attractions. Downstairs are restaurants and pubs and 10m away is the bus station when you arrive from the airport. Room & bathroom very clean, breakfast is really delicious with fresh pastries and the host is absolutely amazing. He recommended me the best places in Catania and was always extremely helpful and kind. Thank you so much & see you soon!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The location is amazing. Down a side street from Via Etnea, the main shopping street. We also enjoyed the Via Santa Filomena with amazing restaurants around the corner. The immediate area around the property was calm and quiet. The room was beautiful and light with a balcony we really enjoyed. The breakfast had lots of options and the staff was so hospitable. Upon arrival we got some great recommendations for what to do in the city, which beaches were recommended etc. We really enjoyed our stay!
