We got a very big room facing the main street (via Etnea), but the balcony doors are quite soundproof so it wasn't disturbing during the night. The host Valentina was available for all the information we needed. It is perfectly located in the center so we could pass by very easily to rest or leave something in the room during our walks in the area.

The main door was not quite sound-proof, so it was a bit noisy from the inside of the B&B, you could hear everything that happened in the hallway, noisy guests living very early, but luckily nothing during the night.

Location is very central and perfect, near to the alibus station from airport too. The room was cleaned daily. It is possible to take coffee and tea at the entrance. It felt safe. This place is in a very old and nice building. Very nice view from the balcony if your room has one. Air conditioner was working good. I could sign in my netflix account and use it.

It is loud outside as this place is directly in center but it didn't bother me. The room was smaller than it seems on the photos, for two people it can feel small. The wifi was not working in my room properly.

The location was perfect with a view to Mt Edna from the balcony and walking distance to everything we wished to see. The host, Valentina, was exceptional. After landing she contacted us to ensure we arrived with no stress and helpful money saving advice. She also resolved an issue we had outside of our accomodation - went above and beyond with her service. So helpful and the best host we have ever had. Just wonderful.

Location Location Location. The Cortile Stesicoro is located right in the middle of the action, no further than a 10 or 15 min walk from any of the great sights to see in Catania. The bus station (for bus to Taormina) is about a 20 or 25 min walk. We stayed in suite 2 (i think?) and you may want earplugs for sleeping, as the 3rd floor balcony (typical and small) faces the main (and great!) pedestrian thoroughfare Via Etnea. You can close the balcony doors and turn on the air conditioning at night to keep things quieter. A busy market (movida) is a 2 min walk north and there are so many restaurants and cafes to choose from in this very walkable area of the city . The host, Valentina, is awesome! She speaks great English and is very helpful in all regards. You can buy a breakfast voucher from her for the cafe downstairs or you can just pay as you go. We usually started our days with a visit to this cafe. The road does not go right to the front door of Cortille, the entrance is located right next to mcdonalds...in behind a large locked door. The taxi may drop you off 20m/50ft away, adjacent to mcdonalds. This property and host is highly recommended!!

The location is just awesome, right on Via Etna in the very center, with easy access and walking distance to main attractions. The B&B is located on the first floor in on old building. The entrance is not the best but it was clean. The rooms are modern, clean, and very spacious. Coffee facilities and water were available. We arranged with the host to leave our bags there since we arrived early and left late.

The only issue we had was the Breakfast which is served at a coffee shop just underneath from 8.30-10.30am , however they had nothing available before 12.00, except the local granita and graffa (a local type of brioche). Otherwise it is recommended for a short stay.

Me and my brother were very satisfied. The room was clean, we had fresh clean towels every day and chilled water in the fridge. The host Valentina is great, friendly and helpful to advise with everything. We could pick up our luggage at any time upon departure, even at night. The location is also absolutely excellent, everything is nearby. Many thanks, Valentina !

Everything was O.K.

Great central location, super spacious, and full of that charming old Sicilian vibe. Valentina was amazing—she let us check in early and even went out of her way to drive over in the morning to meet us. Really appreciated the warm hospitality!

Too many small souvenirs vendors on the street but it’s kart or being central

very convenient location, right by where the bus drops you off from the airport, Piazza Stesicoro. so it’s well located to walking to see everything. a bit of a loud street though, but the shutters in the room mask most the sound. The room was up on the second floor but a number of flights of steps to get there. checkin was easy via WhatsApp and the housekeeper. the room was large and spacious with a balcony. The shower was nice and hot with food pressure.

there was a bit of noise from the hallway outside the room, the bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some regrouting and silicon. the toilet button sticks so you have to pull it up sometimes so it doesn’t keep flushing, sink smells a little funky, and the beds were a bit hard. but there are all really minor. it’s a great value!

We had our flight cancelled late night, so we managed to get in touch around midnight via phone and they agreed to check us in and also have a late check out next morning. Communication in English was great too. Everyone was really nice, location is excellent and it was comfortable. Would recommend high value for the money.

Valentina is an outstanding host. She took the time to help us sort out our activities in Catania. She and her husband helped us out of an awkward situation with good grace. View of Etna from our balcony.
