Location: The location was perfect, very central (at the historic center and next to the main road via Etna), with lots of shops, cafes & restaurants nearby. Room & other areas: We booked a double room, with a toilet on the corridor. Every area was very clean, the room was quiet and cozy, also the whole b&b was quiet despite being near a central road. The thing I loved most was the vibe it had, very artistic with paintings in the whole corridor, lots of colors, and a beautiful cat! The room had everything, from towels and shampoo to a hairdryer. There was also a kitchen in the building, but we didn't use it. Breakfast: Breakfast was served at a nearby cafe called Cafe Insigne from 7am to 12pm and it included 1 drink (coffee, water, tea etc) and 1 sweet or salt choice (it had lots of croissants and desserts/ice creams, also some pizzas, arancini and others). I tried a pistachio croissant, a pizza and a cannoli, and they all tasted good, also the coffee was great! Some extras: One thing I loved was the staff's friendliness, their ability to communicate in English very well, and that they were ready to provide you with any help, or additional information about taxi transportation and tours at Etna, and some bonus points when they took care of me due to food poisoning even when I had checked out.

The rooms were very clean, beyond expectations! We had two double rooms, both with private bathroom. They give breakfast vouchers for a coffee shop right across the street (2-3 minutes walk). The host (Brigida) was very friendly and helped us with direct reservations for the Etna and Taormina tour (which was an excellent choice and the company she recommended was very OK (Etna Tribe), the tour guide (Angelo) gave us a lot of information.

The stairway and the hallway are a bit smelly and could be a bit cleaner, they have a cat walking around everywhere (but not in the rooms).

Beautifully decorated place in an old historic building. Central location within walking distance of most tourist sights. Shared kitchen with fridge and a balcony. Several hair-dryers and even curling iron for anyone to use in the hallway. Clean. Easy and clear communication via whatsapp with instructions for self check-in.

The bathroom will need a bit more renovation, as the shower leaked from a broken tile. At night we couldn't figure out how to turn the heating off. One of the beds is starting to sink in the middle - fine for one night, maybe not so much for a longer stay. Beware that to reach the b&b you'll have to climb several stairs with no elevator.

It's a nicely upcycled cosy and tidy place in a wonderful historic palazzo, full of music and arts, a few steps away from the main pedestrian avenue. My tiny room was perfect for me! Check in flexible, really convenient, hosts responsive and helpful. The Italian breakfast in the nearby caffè was just perfect!

How, only 4 years after the worldwide pandemic, there is no hand soap in any and every bathroom in the world, is beyond my understanding! 🤷‍♀️ If you want undisturbed sleep, you should bring erplugs. Unfortunately, I didn't have them.

This was our second stay at the property in a week. Location is ideal yds from the main/central high street, feels very secure and has retained all of its charm and character, with balconies overlooking the street or the courtyard. Breakfast is at a local modern cafe with a choice of traditional Sicilian or pastry & coffee. Good communication from Brigida the host, and you have access to communal kitchen and coffee making facilities.

Beds could have been more comfortable

In the heart of Catania city, nearby shops, cafes and restaurants. Quiet and spacious rooms, so we had a good rest overnight. Cleaning up the room every day and I liked the basket on the hallway with toiletries that you could use. Also, the bus station from and to the airport is just 3 minutes away from the location. Close to the beautiful and clean beaches, just 15 min by car.

Parking nearby the property a bit challenging.

Great location in the heart of Catania. Easy to get to from where the airport bus drops you. Good, clear instructions from the owners if you are arriving late. Breakfast was ok and at a cafe very close by.

I had the single room and was expecting a balcony. Went back and checked my booking and it definitely said the room had a balcony but looking at the photos it clearly doesn't have one. I should have checked photos at the booking stage but that description needs changing. There was a balcony off the kitchen which i did use one day.

The friendliness and welcome plus great location next to my favourite little pizza place also right in the middle of the main and popular tourists sites and main shops cafes etc. Although in the centre of everything it is still pretty quiet and ultra safe with very pleasant atmosphere thanks to the manager and staff. The only bit of advice to ant travellers is although the location is perfect and very safe (on the second floor of a beautiful old building there seems quite a few steps gates and doors to get up and through if you are elderly or have a lot of luggage otherwise no problem as i had only a backpack so didn't have a problem dont let that put you off though as it is a very pleasant place to stay in the centre of Catania.

Just to be aware of the rising steps and gates (2) to the hotel itself if you are elderly or travelling with elderly friends or relatives and or if you have especially heavy baggage otherwise you will be pleasantly surprised not only of the great location but of the friendly manager staff and cat!

The location was very central, in an old palace, so you must climb a few stairs since it was no elevator - no problem for us. The room was nice, the bed was hard - I liked it, the bathroom was small but functional and clean, so no issues there. The stairs and hallway is beautifully decorated. The breakfast was served across the street in an restaurant where you can have a croissant or arancino and a coffee.

The rooms are not very well soundproofed, so you can hear some loud visitors on the hallway at night, but this can happen in 3 or 4 stars hotels either, so you can use ear plugs like us if you want to have a better sleep.

We booked the quadruple room with a private bathroom. Perfect location in the center, walking distance from everything. Close to the Allibus station. The room was big and clean with an overview to the street, but it was quiet over the night.

Pillows were not comfortable. The bathroom was not very clean, the shower in general and the shower curtain 😔 A lot of stairs to the apartment and not a very pleasant smell in the hallway. But in the apartment's part there was not a bad smell.
