Location amazing

Problem with facilities, no cups,glass or cutlery, needed to buy additional.. from owner part too many rules 'what you can't do or potential penalties' this kind of communication decreased experience, cleaning offered only monday,wednesday ,friday ( need to leave apartament if you want cleaning till 10am) so again no flexibility, trash bins were open inside bath. Asked to leave apartament key close to door which make no sense to even lock the doors ( we didn't agreed to leave key, so been told about 50€ fine if we will lose it😅) no elevator and you need to climb to 3floor with 20kg luggage... as well it's noisy from street till midnight.

Excellent location, in the city center, but on a quiet street! Attractions and restaurants within a radius of 300m. Large rooms, elegantly finished, comfortable (AC, fridge)! Generous bathroom, equipped with bidet (something very rare today or existing only in 5 star facilities). The host, Mrs. Alessandra, a particularly kind person was helpful throughout the stay.

The pillows could have been better. The ones we had were a bit hard and uneven in texture. The host helped us with better ones. There is room for improvement.

An easy 5-minute walk to the Piazza del Duomo and within walking distance to all the major sites, but set off from the main streets enough that it’s not too loud or crowded. There are restaurants and a wine shop immediately outside the door. The rooms are really lovely and spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. The rooftop deck was fantastic and we enjoyed taking a break there with a bottle of wine. Our host was very nice, helpful and accommodating. And the honor bar was convenient and appreciated. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great. One note: There are several flights of stairs to the lodging and the stairway could use another motion-sensing light—it got quite dark when returning in the evening.

It was a very beautiful spacious room and bathroom with a balcony. Plus the roof had a wonderful view of the city. The owner Alessandro was so welcoming from the beginning to the end. She explained everything for the stay and Catania. She helped me to book a day trip and ordered taxi for my trip to Train Station. Most of it, she was so kind and attentive. The place is on an amazing quiet street next Via Etna. I recommend this place highly to anyone who wants a great experience of a great City if Catania

Everything was great! The room was clean and spacious. It's really close to all attractions, bus stops and train station. The communication by the host was really great and helpful. Additionally, you have a nice view from the common roof terrace.

Spacious room, very clean and great bed! Loved the Sicilian decoration, especially the tiles, they put you in the mood! There is also terrace with great view to enjoy your late drinks. Alessandra is a great hostess, very friendly and always available to share tips and advice when needed. The location is perfect, 5 to 10 minutes walk to every major attraction.

Sogno Etno is simply beautiful place to stay for a few nights while you are visiting Catania and pictures presented on booking.com show exactly how the rooms look like. Perfectly clean, with fantastic bathroom, very well equipped, with balcony and terrace on the roof, giving wonderful view. The host - Alessandra - is an exceptional person, warm and very helpful, taking good care about her guests. We arrived earlier than usual check-in hour but our room was ready and we could refresh after trip before starting sightseeing; also we didn't have to hurry with check-out! Just after arrival we received the breakfast vouchers to the local restaurant which is located like 20 m from the building - to all complaining about the breakfasts - you are in Italy and here Italian breakfast will be served: coffee or cappuccino plus croissant or brioche but after proper Italian dinner you don't need anything more, trust me! Alessandra - let me thank you again for your hospitality! Catania it's an amazing city, definitely "must see" place and if you have some time for traveling, go to Siracusa (and Ortiga, obviously). It was our first time in Sicilia but definitely not the last, and I hope next time to stay in Sogno Etno again.

Highly recommend this place! Alessandra, the host is like a local friend, who helps us to feel as good as we can, during our stay - local recommendations, what to see, where to go. She is amazing. The place itself is really clean, well-equipped. There is a rooftop terrace where we could enjoy the spectacular view to the historic city - and by coincidence, we visited Catania during a huge Sant’Agatha festival. We could see the big fireworks from the terrace! Wow! The location is very central, you can reach everything by foot.

Perfect location in the center of Catania, within short walking distance to all the main sights. The host was very kind, helpful and patient, providing useful information for our stay and looking after our needs. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated, perfectly clean.

It would have been easier if breakfast was served within the structure rather than at a café on the street nearby, but all considered this was only a minor nuisance.

We had a warm welcome at Sogno Etneo from Alessandra and were given tokens to get breakfast at a cafe around the corner. Those breakfasts were light but tasty and the owner was friendly. The room was a good size with a sofa and a fridge in addition to the bed. The bathroom exceeded our expectations as it had an excellent multi-function shower. The location of the property is exceptionally good as you're just across from a famous street with many beautiful churches and not far from the main sites of interest. Catania is a great city to walk around and the main plazas and monuments were definitely worth a visit. The Giardino Bellini park is also very picturesque and I fell in love with the stunning bandstand. There are loads of excellent traditional Sicilian restaurants not far from the property so you'll eat well. Also recommended are day trips to the Isle of Ortigia, just off Siracusa and the amazing Greek amphitheatre in Taormina. Public transport is good in Sicily so you can get coaches there if you do your homework.
