Staff were very friendly and helpful when looking for excursions to go on, rooms were very clean and tidied every day. Breakfast had plenty of options and everything tasted great. Good value for money aswell.

Rooms were described as sound proof but were far from it, our room had a bar right outside our window which was open until very late, I can accept that it is difficult to sound proof windows but we could also hear every conversation from the room next to us, we could even tell when someone new had checked in because of the language change. The roof terrace is a great place to get views of the city and even mount etna but is barren and neglected, would be a great place for an evening bar.

Big comfortable single bed, the location is perfect, right in the center. There's a roof terrace with showers if you'd like to sunbathe. Breakfast buffet was very good with big variety to choose from. The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful.

Only one power outlet next to bed. You can manage, but I have to sleep with a cpap machine, and can't charge my phone at night! At least an outlet with USB port would be great.

The breakfast is good, with enough options to choose from. The location is great and within a walking distance of the main attractions. The staff was great and helped us book a taxi to the airport.

Great location, all sights and many restaurants within walking distance. Except for rush hour, not much traffic noise. Helpful at reception. Hotel nicely decorated, room (superior) and bathroom spacious. Comfortable beds, good lighting. Not much variety at breakfast, but of good quality. Bar nice, but out of service due to season. Otherwise a great place to be around February 3 - ceremonies for local saint Agatha!

Note: This has nothing to do with the hotel, but with booking.com taxi transfer! Due to connecting flight problems we had a delay of 8 hours. From the transfer airport I asked "customer" "service" to change our pick up time. They told me I should have informed them 24 hours IN ADVANCE !?! No refund possible!

Nice hotel close to the centre of the old town. Parking was arranged in advance by the hotel staff which was very helpful. the room had a vaulted ceiling and fine decor.The reception was well staffed and were very welcoming.

The surrounding area was a bit unkempt with litter etc but this was not really any fault of the hotel.Some of the bathroom area was a bit cramped and attention was needed to the shower cubicle which wouldn't shut easily because the door runners had broken off.(reported on departure) The hotel bar was temporarily closed for no apparent reason so we had to go out to find a cold drink after we had checked in.

great location, friendly staff, comfy bed

my room was at the back of the property and the window faced a tiny airspace between two walls - AKA almost like not having a window. some people said the front area of the hotel is too noisy.. well, the back is dark and airless. I had a good stay because I was only there for 1 night and the location is extremely convenient to explore Catania Center, but I would have not liked to stay in that dark room for a longer stay.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of variety and staff was helpful and friendly. Location of the hotel was very good, close to the square.

Room fridge could have been bigger. Could have offered a complimentary water. We took hotel water out and went and bought our own. Air conditioning controls were hard to understand.

Our room was very large and comfortable - almost a suite. Good breakfast buffet. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location within the historic central area and easy walking distance to all the main sites.

Only problem was parking - we had a rental car and the hotel does provide very limited on street parking. They basically charge a daily fee so that one of their staff finds somewhere on the street to park the vehicle for you. This doesn't feel particularly secure, and when we dropped off the car we were charged by the rental company for a small scratch on the plastic front bumper of the car which I know we did not do at any time we were actually driving the car, so I suspect it may have happened during the day the car spent parked in the narrow but busy street outside the hotel

Excellent, helpful front desk Staff , no issue to difficult to solve, very forthcoming and professional. Excellent location - close to all main attractions yet quiet enough to provide some rest after hectic day of sightseeing. Go and discover rooftop terrace.

Breakfast is a dissapointment , very basic - comparing to food available outside hotel a bit expensive and avarage quality - waiters non existent. Some fresh vegetables and a bit of an attention from breakfast Staff would have been a great start of the day. Shower at peak hours can be a challenge due to low water pressure at higher (4) floors.

The selection for breakfast was outstanding as well as the authentic Italian coffee. The location of the Hotel was perfect - within walking distance to the city attractions, eateries, market and shops.

The broken bedroom curtains and the old, unappealing bathtub/shower.
