Location, room size, elevator

Building was covered on scaffolding so vie was limited and access to windows poor. Workers stated early so noisy. We should have been notified of this condition before any cancellation deadline in or to determine whether we would want to cancel.

I loved that we were overlooking the Piazza. It was in the centre of a lot of activity. The fish and fruit vegetable market was just around the corner, there lots of eating places. Our room was lovely and spacious. It was warm, but had air conditioning.

I think they need more shelves/hooks in the bathroom. A shelf in the shower to put toiletries on, and more hooks or racks for towels. And I hated the fiddlly sachets of bodywash. A refillable pump pack would have been much better. If you were needing a very quiet peaceful room, you might want to reconsider this place. It was noisy in the Piazza till well into the night.

Excellent location. The room I booked was very comfortable and the view from the room was awesome. It’s prime location makes it worth the money. Especially biggest room, which I booked. Though the windows opened right on the square, it didn’t disturb our sleep at night. The view from the window was awesome!! One doesn’t necessarily need to go down to enjoy the square.

I found the staff little unfriendly. Being straightforward is accepted to some extent, but it has to be considered that not all the guests are not from Europe and might not know the functionalities of the building well.

You truly can't beat the location—right in the heart of Catania, with a balcony overlooking Piazza del Elefante and a stunning view of the Duomo. The room was spacious and filled with natural light, making it feel even more inviting. The bathroom was equally impressive: large, with a big walk-in shower and double sinks which added a touch of luxury. I've stayed here multiple times and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city

If I had to mention anything, a small rack for soap in the shower and a full-length mirror in the room would be great additions—but nothing that took away from the overall experience

The view is amazing!! We only stayed for one night, so the view really helped maximise our experience in such a short time. Perfect location for site seeing and getting the Alibus to/from the airport (6min walk away). Comfortable bed. Super clean. The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with via Whatsapp. Highly recommend! Big shower, big soft towels. Would definitely stay again!

It was raining when we arrived and the communal area by the main front door was a bit wet and had an unpleasant smell, but this wasn't a major issue as we immediately got the lift to the apartment floor then everything was great.

The location and the view are unbeatable. The room is spacious and the reception girl was friendly.

We had assumed it wouldn’t be too noisy at the end of November, but be prepared for late night street noise, loud singing, and the sound of cleaning vehicles in the early morning hours. Sleep wasn’t very easy, though we were somewhat expecting this. There were three of us, so we booked a room meant for four. The extra bed was a blue sofa with a metal frame. While the bed itself wasn’t bad, the uneven construction made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. The extra bed is quite small, suitable for two young children but not for two adults.

The Location is just amazing, open the veranda window and you are on the most famous place in the city, the Duomo Square. The room is perfect size and has a large TV, a very comfortable bed, and nice lighting. Shower with very good pressure, no issue with hot water. We thought that the parking would be difficult, but finally was very easy, the nearby road has a blue area, so we just paid a very small amount for 12 hours, also big parking in 6 minutes walking distance for 15 euros cost for 24 hours parking. The building lift is a bit small, but manageable with 2 small languages. No breakfast, but is full of coffee shops just down to the building. May be a bit noisy until late at night time, but when you close the windows and you are very tired after a long day going around it is not a big issue.

Just wondering why the owners didn`t pay attention to this - there is not a single towel hanger in the bathroom, and also not a single shelf to put your bathroom products, I was forced to put the trash can in the cabin and put the products on it and avoid to put them on the ground!

Beautiful room, very well located

There were ants in the room ( a lot of them) and there was construction on the building so therefore we couldn’t enjoy the balcony and the view

Clean and central location

We paid €30 for a welcome aperitif, in which we got a very basic bottle of Prosecco and some nuts in a bowl, which was a little underwhelming

Amazing location on Piazza del Duomo with the view on Catania Cathedral. The room and bathroom were clean. There is a couch in the room, that can be used as an extra bed. Depending on your arrival time contactless check-in is possible (after 20:00 for extra charge though). There is a small and very slow elevator (we used it only once as the room is located on the 1st floor). We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

There is a contraction going on on the Piazza. It did not bother us as by the time they start working we were already out and about. But this is something worth to mention.
