My stay was amazing! A couple of days before arriving, I was contacted to get organised for the check-in. You can do your check-in online so you save a lot of time at the reception desk and the instructions are super easy to follow. The team also asked me what time I was planning to arrive so they can make sure they get organised for the keys as they reception closes at 7 pm. Melania contacted me via WhatsApp and this made the communication so easy. Everyone at the b&b is super friendly. My room was lovely, spacious and clean. I’d like to mention the extra care they put into providing a product to keep mosquitos away from the room. This is a very nice touch and not common to find in hotels and made my night sleep super comfortable in a city like Catania where it’s common to find mosquitos during winter too. The breakfast is good and served in a beautiful room where they kept the original ceiling. The b&b is, in fact, inside a historical palace. They did great works to renovate it (for examples the windows in my room where new and were isolating the noise from outside perfectly) but they kept great elements from the past history of the palace like the ceiling or the stairs. Since it is in a historical house, the b&b does not have a lift so it’s not for people who have difficulties climbing stairs, but this was super clear when I booked 😊 Overall, I highly recommend this to solo travellers but also to families with kids as they rooms are very spacious.

The room absolutely corresponded to the photos, spacious, bed comfortable; breakfast extensive for Italy: 3 different types of toast, various jams, sausages and cheese, some vegetables and fruit, boiled eggs, the rest = the majority are sweet foods, from cornetto to mostly 3 - 4 cakes, various panettoni at Christmas time; coffee in variations and espresso; bus station in front of the hotel (incl. Alibus - unlike what is shown on google maps, you can take the Alibus directly to the hotel!); nice restaurants around

nothing to complain about Just know that there is no lift, narrow stairs to the 1st floor, breakfast room on the 2nd floor.

I recently stayed at Etna Suites in Catania, Sicily, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The room was impressively large, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful city. The decor was charming and the room was impeccably clean, making it a truly comfortable retreat. The hotel's location was another highlight. Situated in a prime spot, it was incredibly convenient to reach many of Catania's top attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether you’re looking to visit the bustling markets, historical sites, or just enjoy a stroll through the vibrant streets, everything is just a short walk away. One of the standout features of my stay was the breakfast. The hotel offered a fantastic spread each morning with a variety of delicious options. From fresh fruits and pastries to traditional Sicilian delicacies, there was something to suit every palate. It was the perfect way to start each day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Catania. With its spacious rooms, ideal location, and exceptional breakfast, it provides a perfect base for exploring this enchanting city.

The room was comfortable and the staff cleaned it everyday correctly. The wifi is free. This hotel is located on the main street of Catania: very practical to go to monuments by walking. The breakfast was excellent: they are proposing local meals (like pistachio pie, etc).

The main door of the room is not well isolated: you hear all the noise coming from the corridor. Bring earplugs to sleep! The other negative point was the parking: they don't have parking. They have a partnership with a local private parking at 100 meters. I advise you to pay by card (not cash) and to keep the proof of payment. Because several persons of the parking only speak Italian and the cash payment is more difficult to prove in case of trouble.

Location is great.. it's very central. Although it's on via Etnea.. in the evening the hotel area is not too busy. Breakfast included a little bot of everything from fruit, cereal, jams, bread croissants, and other things. Everything was very clean and very organized. Room was simply amazing.. felt like a one bedroom apartment .. rooms are large.

The hotel has a lot of stairs.. like to reach our room we had more that 40 steps to go up without the access of lift but I guess that this is because of this history of the building itself. Having said that.. we will definitely go back!

Very conveniently located near the historic centre, The buffet breakfast was an overload of local sweets and the host was extremely courteous. The room was very spacious and overlooks the beautiful Parco Maestranze. A walk up the park gives a distant but clear view of summit of Mount Etna.

24 hour checkin / reception would have been great. The only minor quibble would be about carrying the luggage up the stairs and handling the keys and the keypads in the darkness. Overall it was great stay.

The location is central. The staff were very very nice and recommended places to visit. There is a paid parking close by, where you can leave the car and have preferences as a guest not the hotel. The room was good size, warm and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and had all amenities for a perfect stat. The breakfast waa a nice surprise - very good Italian espresso and very good local delicatessen. Highly recommend

This was a very good stay in Catania. It´s close to the historical center but not in it, so ideal if you come by car. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely be my choice if I ever need to come back to Catania. The breakfast was a buffet with gluten-free options.

Probably some additional information might be handy if you come by car, like surrounding areas where you can leave your car and not to be very expensive. In our case we were lucky and we could park it on the street and pay little money, but it can easily become very expensive.

It was clean, the room was big, breakfast was nice, really good coffee! We enjoyed the stay and would absolutely recommend! The location was perfect, just in the centre. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel and many restaurants.

There is no lift so if you struggle with walking or have a lot of luggage it could be hard to manage.

Central Location: One of the standout features of Etna Suite Group is its superb location. Situated in the heart of Catania, it made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Many of the city's attractions, restaurants, and shops were within walking distance, which greatly enhanced our stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the hotel was good. Breakfast: The breakfast served was good. There was a variety of options to choose from, and the quality of the food was good. Staff: The staff members especially Alfredo was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They were always ready to assist with any questions or requests we had, which added to the overall positive experience.

No Elevator: One aspect that is not comfortable is the absence of an elevator. For guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues, climbing the stairs to upper floors might be challenging.
