Excellent location on Via Etnea. From our balcony we could see Etna and observe corso until evening hours. The airport bus stops in front of the hotel. Metro station is a 10 minute walk, There are supermarkets and restaurants in the vicinity. The main city market is two blocks away. Most of the sights are withing walking distance. The room was spacious with frescoes on the ceiling. The bathroom was new and everything worked properly. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet offers a selection of croissants, cold cuts, juices and coffee.

Wi-fi was poor and constantly interrupted. We had some problems with AC/heating.

manager of the hotel Andrea and receptionist helped me and made my staying in Catania a great experience. they helped me with trip to Etna which was wonderful. hotel was on great location on the main street in Catania close to bus to the airport and the church of saint Agata., Bellini garden. i will return definetely

The hospitality of the personnel was very good, they help us with everything we need to know about the city, they suggested to us very good restaurant and places to go in the city. Also the location is very near to the city center. I recommend it!

After reading the reviews I wondered what had changed since we stayed eight years ago. All I can say is all the changes are for the better, and for a very reasonably priced hotel, it offers great value for money. No, it’s not the Ritz but people should be realistic when a hotel costs this amount. Our room was very spacious, had a balcony, and the most amazing painted ceiling. The room and bathroom were clean, and the towels and bedding immaculate. The staff were great, spoke good English which helped us, explained about the shuttle bus to the airport which stops every twenty minutes outside the hotel - a major plus if you are travelling by public transport and heading home as we were. The breakfast offered a good selection in a pretty room.

It was noisy at night: we haven’t had a room in Sicily without some noise. Here it was primarily early cleaners in the road (not anything the hotel can be responsible for), and the air conditioning. As on all my reviews this trip, I’d say bring earplugs.

Perfect location, close to everything there is to see in Catania.

Breakfast was not that special, and the bathroom was really hot, but than again for the price of this hotel one cannot really complain about anything.

Santuzza art hotel is LOVELY, I adored the pictures, paintings, decorations, and I never seen something like this before in Catania, it's absolutely to be visited

staff was accommodating to our late arrival time from the airport. Also explained with details the premises and places around, ie: pizzeria. The breakfast was delicious and plenty I would recommend them. Thanks Alexandre and family

Bathroom need to be renovated immediately. Our balcony window had a huge hole in frame.
