We absolutely couldn’t fault this hotel. Every detail, big and small, was perfect. It felt like home. The best hotel beds, pillows, linen we’ve ever slept on. The views were breathtaking. The room was spacious, and luxurious yet so cosy. Heated floors. Amazing shower. Delicious and generous breakfast. Restaurant food was wonderful. Staff were so accommodating. The pool and sauna facilities were incredible, even in winter. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It’s certainly one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. We can’t wait to come back!!! I rate higher than 10/10!

Loved staying in the property! Deserves higher than 3 stars (can only assume this is an error). Only two issues 1) sauna in the room didn’t get very hot and then went in error mode for the rest of our stay (tbf we didn’t alert the staff to this as we had evening plans and were leaving in the morning) 2) spa (incl pool) is only open 3pm to 9pm so our plans for an early morning swim and steam weren’t possible. Staff were amazing, spa and pool is really good, rooms were perfect and comfortable, views are fantastic and breakfast was great!

Beautiful location with a stunning view, the hotel staff were great, and the facilities were fantastic.

The hotel was in its final week of the season and starting to close down. Some ongoing work on their new annexe, which will be amazing once opened, did cause a minor disturbance. With the up-and-coming winter Olympics, customers staying there will require better internet access, and there should be an iron and an ironing board in each room.

Dolomiti Lodge Alvera represents hospitality at its finest. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful lobby and are introduced to its premium facilities and then brought to our room with its exceptional view, we were delighted and impressed. The number of rooms/guests was just right, so it felt quiet and exclusive. Everything felt new and spotlessly clean and comfortable. We are amazed at how fast the daily housekeeping service is! I usually hardly make use of hotel facilities, but the heated pool in the quiet, relaxing setting made me take a trip into town to purchase a set of swimwear! The gym equipment was also excellent. We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the food very much. Service was impeccable - attentive yet discreet. You can feel the pride they take in this family-run hotel. We stayed 6 nights and still wish we had more time. We will definitely be back to beautiful Dolomites and this cosy hotel.

Dolomiti Lodge Alvera was a fantastic place to stay during our honeymoon. The rooms are all extremely modern and have brilliant fixtures, including a steam shower and great lighting. Our room had a private balcony with a view of the mountains, which was lovely. The gym is also brand new and very modern as of October 2023. The breakfast was exceptional - a-la-carte with choices made the day before. The scrambled eggs with cheese were a highlight. The service was brilliant, and we were made to feel very welcome during our stay.

The location is good but could be better - it's a 15-20 minute walk to the town centre (a nice walk at that). With that being said, there is a bus into town, and most people tend to drive in Cortina in any case.

At first we were not sure we’d like it upon arrival but it was great. Comfortable room, though not large, with great shower and view. The pool, steam room and sauna in the spa were great. The restaurant was great for the complimentary breakfast and dinner.

You would not want to walk to and from to the center of town but we had a car and did ok with parking.

Wow, this place is amazing. It far exceeded our already high expectations. The room was exceptional - spacious, clean, modern, with everything you could need. Bathroom was amazing, and deck was huge with the most stunning views of the mountains. The pool was beautiful and the most amazing place to cool down / relax after a day of hiking. We loved the sauna and steam shower too. They also offer very affordable massages! The breakfast was amazing with all you could ever want - the staff serves you in the restaurant area with what you pre-selected the night before. We had planned to go into Cortina for dinner most nights but loved the hotel so much that we ended up eating dinner at the hotel every night - the dinner was delicious. We had a few rainy days which was a bummer for hiking but we didn't mind too much because we got to hang out and relax more at the hotel. Highly recommend -- we will definitely be telling all family and friends, and we hope to come back again soon. Huge shoutout to Veronica for making our stay wonderful!!!!

Absolutely loved our stay here, we had an amazing view from our balcony, the rooms were so spacious and clean, loved the shower too, the steam/rain shower head were so luxurious! Also loved the spa and pool facilities, very well kept. The food was AMAZING, possibly one of the best scrambled eggs of my life. They had a vast breakfast selection including a variety of croissants, eggs, meats, fresh fruit/juices etc. we also loved the dinner here, the special truffle pasta was divine! The staff was also super sweet and helpful!

We loved how quiet and comfortable our room was and the large balcony with a fantastic view. The pool and spa facilities are excellent and we enjoyed spending time there in the afternoon to relax. The tea provided in the room was excellent quality.

We missed not having items at breakfast that can be typical of other hotels in the area such as a selection of cakes and more variety of cheese.

- Beautiful big room with very comfortable bed & nice facilities (i.e. to make tea) and truly incredible views over the mountains. - Pool was lovely, again with mountain views, and the perfect temperature with plenty of seating nearby. The spa's 'relax' area was perfect to laze the afternoon away. - The hotel was easy to find and well-situated on the slopes of Cortina. Plenty of private parking available. - Staff were super welcoming and helpful, and very kind to us as this was a birthday trip! - Breakfast was delicious!
