Good location, super nice rooms and good value

Breakfast. The food was good but the buffet served by a waiter was slow and did not add any value

Hotel Da Beppe Sello has a good location, above Cortina with nice views but within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking is free in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is excellent, nicely decorated, very well cared for, and clean. The rooms are very comfortable and include that little extra. Breakfast is very good, but the restaurant for dinner is fantastic. We highly recommend the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner. Finally, the hotel staff are universally the most friendly, helpful, and kind that we have encountered almost anywhere. When we return to Cortina, we will want to stay again at Hotel Da Beppe Sello.

There really was nothing we didn't like about Hotel Da Beppe Sello.

Have stayed here multiple times over the years. It's a perfect hotel with dramatic views and elegantly rustic interiors that evoke both the Alps generally and honor the special style unique to the Dolomites and the Ampezzo Valley. The restaurant is superior and worth taking a night at the hotel instead of the town....many locals, member of the Buon Ricordo, etc. The staff is welcoming and professional....and the owners (4th generation) are seen often. For skiers, the hotel has a dedicated bus stop for shuttle service to both Tofana and Cortina Center/Faloria. A locked ski room is convenient for equipment storage. The hotel is exceptionally maintained and clean and room amenities are of a higher standard than the typical European 3-star. Great value.

Great location, not in the center but just outside of it, and consequently much better situated, with a (small but for 8 cars sufficient) car park in front. Nice warm showers (not everywhere available), good beds, in our case a nice balcony with a great view, a bar for a drink at night and a breakfast facility that does the trick (friendly and helpfull personel). Good value for money.

I had wished for a room that had been just one meter longer. It would have made a difference, but you can't have it all.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel da Beppe Sello. Our room was nicely decorated and included a balcony with view of nearby mountains. The hotel's location is a good base for exploring the eastern Dolomites and it's an easy 10 minute walk into town of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Breakfast was good and was served in a nice setting. There is ample parking in front and back of the hotel. The onsite restaurant seemed to be very popular, but we didn't eat there, although we did have drinks in the bar area which was a nice.

I had a great stay at Hotel da Beppe Sello in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The room was spotless, and the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning. The location is super convenient, just about a 10-minute walk to the city centre, so it’s close to everything but still nice and quiet. The Christmas decorations were impeccable and stunning, making the whole place feel magical. The hotel truly smelled like Christmas, amazing! Check-in was quick and easy, the staff were very welcoming, and breakfast was simple but enough to start the day.

I could hear other guests’ alarms in the morning, which turned out to be a good opportunity to wake up earlier and make the most of the day exploring. Having someone serve your food felt a bit different, but it added a personal touch to the experience.

Breakfast at the hotel was excellent - there was bread, eggs, bacon, and fruit. For me, the star of the buffet was the yoghurt, paired with some fruit that looked like mixed berries, and some orange marmalade. It tasted very fresh and of high quality! We stayed the whole weekend and I had that for breakfast every morning. There was ample parking at the front of the hotel (and they had additional parking right behind the hotel, accessible from a side street). The rooms and bathrooms were homey and very clean! Would like to commend the housekeeping staff for this. The blankets and sheets helped keep us warm, as it was very cold when we were in Cortina. I had a request with my booking and the hotel staff was able to efficiently help me with a solution - thank you for this! The hotel was just a 3-minute walk from the town center and we enjoyed our daily walks. Beautiful views of the river and of the mountains all around!

The breakfast service was a little odd; the food was laid out on several tables like in a buffet, but only the staff could fill up your plate for you (you have to pick and point to what you want and wait for staff to place it on your plate). Not sure why this was the set-up, but perhaps it would be better (and make guests less self-conscious, haha!) to just make it a regular buffet. Still, staff were very nice and gracious. The hotel seems family run, with a small staff. When we first arrived at the hotel, no one was at the check-in counter. We waited for a few minutes and, luckily, someone from housekeeping came out and helped us call up the receptionist. The receptionist appeared soon after that and helped us with a quick check-in.

I arrived earlier than the check-in time, and the staff was very helpful, allowing us to store our luggage and, surprisingly, even placed it in our room for us. The room is small but very cozy, better than expected.

There is a private parking space in front of the hotel, but it’s shared with restaurant customers. Therefore, there may be no available space when you arrive, which could be a problem. Fortunately, we were able to get a space. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the city center. There’s no sidewalk in the first part of the walk.

The location is ideal. The main centre is only a 10 min walk away. They have free parking space. The person in charge was very helpful. The room was quite cosy and comfortable. The view from the balcony was quite nice. Watching the sunrise in the morning was magical! Love the amenities they provide in the bathroom. Very thoughtful. Breakfast was included with our stay.

The plug point next to the bed on one side wasn't working. The bathroom is very very small. We went for breakfast at 9.30am (30 mins before closing) and most of the food was finished :(

The hotel is very authentic, close to the center and close to the slopes. The rooms are nice, we had a balcony but couldn’t enjoy at it as we were all day on the slopes. All in nice place to stay at this hotel for good value

The breakfast is buffet but you can’t serve yourself, the waitress puts in your plate what you tell her to put. We saw this first time. The rooms are not very sound proof so we could hear the people next room, but didn’t bother us as we were getting up early. One small fridge would be nice to have in the room. Everything else was perfect
