Friendly staff, fabulous breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. A very nice place to stay.

A little bit of a walk into the centre of Ferrara, not too far once a day but if do this 2 or 3 times a day becomes a bit tedious. However this is compensated for by the location of the hotel being very convenient for the train station.

The room was quite bright after sunrise (we came in June), which made it difficult to sleep.

For a 3* property, this hotel is an exceptional find. It’s super clean, relaxed and tastefully decorated whilst very comfortable. The surrounding area is not attractive but if you are travelling by train, it’s very handy location wise; Literally a 4 minute walk from the train station! Breakfast is a real treat with home baked tasty cakes and desserts! The owners are lovely, very helpful and generous; I was offered their personal umbrella when it was absolutely pouring it down with rain.

Walk to the town centre was longer than we anticipated and became a bit of a chore after few days. We did however discover the buses (€5 for a 24 hr ticket purchased from train station) and they worked really well.

It was my first stop in a month long trip so I wanted a place that was near the station. Getting my luggage up the stairs took effort but that is expected in many European towns. Their breakfast was excellent. It was close to the old town and a short walk. I only went out on my own the first night. Walking home, I wasn’t sure I’d want to do that again. I’m not used to walking on a dark street. Fortunately, on the other nights I was there, my friends drove me home.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but it helps to close the windows at night and have a white noise machine or leave the bathroom fan on. There are people who are coming and going outside on the street below,, probably due to the proximity of the station.

It provides what a hotel could provide and even more than what I expected. ;Everything was there. Special decor in each room, cleanliness as if it was the first time someone used the room and that every day, amazing breakfast with a huge variety of products all made by themselves, every day and a surprise or rather to say it better many pleasant surprises at breakfast. Local and Italian delicacies. Our hosts Lelo and Angelo made us feel right at home. Unbelievable how with some small interventions, for example photo wallpaper on the wall, flower pots and the sound of running water, they managed to turn the small balcony into a place of relaxation Perfect location for anyone who wants to use the train to visit other cities, as it is a few meters from the station in a safe area and a straight line from the center. The bus to Bologna airport also stops right there

The apartment was so clean we really appreciated that. Lovely comfy bed and looks so like the photos online it’s got a unique style and charm. Loved it

Nothing really. The location is literally across from the train station so a mix of people around. But never felt unsafe etc. so convenient for accessing trains but also local buses too right outside train station. A 1,6 or 9 will take you straight to town.

Located across from the train station the hotel is ideally located for a visit to the atmospheric town of Ferrara. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff work hard with smiles on their faces. Good value for money & a very homely feel. Those with a sweet tooth will love the breakfast which is more than plentiful to set you up for the day. Savoury items available too. I highly recommend Boutique Hotel ferrara.

The hotel is very cozy, the room is spacious and super comfortable. It is 100 m from the train station and about 15-10 min walk from the center. They offer a sweet/salty breakfast with everything handmade, and they recommend typical sweets from Ferrara or Italy. The owners are very nice and very attentive at all times.

There is nothing negative

Lovely boutique hotel. Being a smaller place you got that personal experience that ordinarily would not get with some of the bigger chains. 5 min walk from the railway station and 20 min walk into the historical centre. Although the hotel was in a residential area it was so quiet. The place was lovely and clean. Bed comfortable and lovely hot shower. The breakfast had a mixture of hot and good dishes with home made pastries. They were good!

Nothing

The host and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were all unique, very clean and a lot of thought went into providing all the comforts of home. The shower was outstanding. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The best sleep I have had yet. Breakfast was exceptional and I especially enjoyed the range of home-baked cakes and pastries that the host baked himself.

Had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs, but the host did help.
