Location very close to the waterfront and promenade. Views, shower and room perfect after long flight. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was lovely with good coffee. Very easy 7 euro shuttle to and from airport or 25 euro taxi

Location: The hotel is well located for the center of Fiumicino, beach, restaurant and shops. You do need to go for a good walk to explore the area to locate things like you need. Public transport poor, but the hotel shuttle to Fiumicino airport and rail station is pretty good. Taxis are hit and miss. Quite a journey to get to and from Rome centre. Room: Excellent, well sized, good shower, refrigerator in room was great. Facilities: Adequate. 24 hour reception was good. Staff: Excellent. Helpful, friendly, supportive. Cleanliness: Excellent.

Tips for the hotel: put a guidebook in the room to local facilities (shops, pharmacies, public transport).

At the airport arrivals we found the Hotel shuttle bus service, which we used a lot as it was so reliable and linked with the Express train into Rome city when we needed it. Drivers were always polite and courteous, serving several hotels in the area. Arriving at the hotel, we were given a warm welcome, and made use of the hotel bar. Room was quite large, comfy and even had a balcony. The air con kept us cool during the heatwave., and the fridge was most welcome. Our room was kept clean and well served with fresh toiletries and towels. All staff were helpful everyday. Breakfast was fine, with quite a lot of cold choices, excellent value at only 5 euros. The comfy reception area, bar area and garden were all pleasant for relaxing or waiting. So close to the beach and good restaurants, it was the perfect location for both the city and bathing. Our itemised bill at check-out was spot on.

Breakfast finishing at 9am felt a bit early, as we were tired after being out all the previous day. One evening on our return via Hotel shuttle service, 9pm was too late for the local shop opening hours, so we resorted to the vending machine for a snack,. But we were only able to get 2 items, then the machine stopped working - staff were unable to correct this as it is not managed by the hotel.

Very close to the beach, probably 2 mins walking. We got there early before check in and they made us coffee. They got us a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport. Air conditioning on the room was brand new. They made us feel at home. Would come back just to visit the beach there. It was private and had a restaurant with super reasonable prices. Perfect stop for taking an extra vacation day after the cruise to the Greek islands and not go to the airport in a rush. The staff were so friendly they did not charge for breakfast. And the shuttle was 10 mins before time without rushing. They gave us a scale to weigh our luggage to make sure we were ok with the pounds. Loved the Riviera Hotel.

Stayed for 1 night for our 13 hour stopover. 11 mins from the airport to the hotel. Great service and friendly staff. We had a room for 5 people, with a huge terrace and a sea view. Rooms were very nice and clean. We used the shuttle bus on the way back to the airport which costs €7 per person (ended up being an private minibus). My fave was the gorgeous sunrise in the morning. Liked everything. We only stayed over night so was sufficient for us for our stay. The porch was huge and a great view of the sea.

Hotel was close to Fiumicino Airport in nice location very close to the beach. Shuttle service was excellent on both directions. Staff on front desk friendly.

We did not like the atmosphere at breakfast. Let me explain: During breakfast, we were served cold cappuccino, the milk was not heated properly. When we went downstairs for breakfast after 8:10 am, there were only leftovers of cheese and ham in the dining room. The cookies were tasteless. Moreover, the lady who worked in the dining room was unprofessional and unfriendly. She was very loud, banging plates, which made it difficult for those sitting there to eat breakfast in peace. When leaving the hotel at 10:30 am, we heard the loud behavior of this woman at the reception and we immediately went outside so as not to hear these screams. We believe that the hotel owner should know about the employee's inappropriate behavior.

The staff were friendly, and waited for our arrival late at night, which was very kind of them (we reached after midnight). They also helped us with a booking error, so that was something we truly appreciate.

Preferable to not reach late, as you cannot use the shuttle service (they do not operate late at night), and the taxi ride from the airport is more expensive. We opted for uber to be sure of the fare in advance. Also, when we made the booking it said we paid already the tourist tax, but they charged us again when checking out. Perhaps it could be related to our booking error though, so we did not raise this issue with the staff.

The con serge Felipe was very kind, he went out of his way to help us in many ways. He Made us feel welcome and comfortable and helped us to our room. After a stroll along the beach he made us a cup of tea and a croissant. The room was comfortable & clean, it had all the amenities we needed. The property was a short walk to the beach and a little further to restaurants.

Only the shower was very small as there wasn’t a lot of room to wash or dry yourself in the small cubicle. It also leaked water on the floor and wet the bath mat.

It was so clean all over the hotel, the staff was so kind, reliable, they were always here to help if needed. Breakfast was so well-organised, very tasty, inside of your room we had everything needed : refrigerator, safe box, hair dryer, they give you soup and the shower gel per each person, so many towels….. the bed covers were so white white whitishhh, amazing))) liked it so much

I really liked the service at reception, everyone was very helpful there from the time of our arrival at the airport to the time of leaving - big thanks to Matteo for his help! Room was OK, AC was working fine, bathroom was big and convenient. Breakfast was tasty, bread rolls were really delicious! We also enjoyed the transfer from/to the airport. If we visit Fiumicino in the future, we will surely come back :)
