This is our second time at this hotel, the staff at this hotel was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, Thank you to the ladies in the kitchen especially Mrs. Lucia, I think that's what I heard her name, because she served us with some delicious cakes made by herself. Florence is an oasis of impressive Art, Culture and History. My advice is that those who want to come to Florence to visit the museums, Brunelleschi's Dome, Palazzo Vechio + Tower, Palazzo Pitti + Boboli Gardens, and others, you can pay your tickets online... and definitely Piazzale Michelangelo where you have a fabulous view of the city.

I felt at home. It is a quiet place, although close to the street, clean and comfortable. It is close to the airport, we took the T2 tram from the airport to the hotel (3 stops), then we walked for 5-10 minutes and admired the surroundings. You can quickly reach the points of interest in Florence with the T2 tram, which you take until the end of the line. The hotel staff is very kind and always ready to answer questions about recommended things to visit. The breakfast is nice and tasty, and taking into account that I am a picky person, I want to say that the coffee is great, I have rarely enjoyed a coffee like I did at the Mio Hotel in Florence. I will return with my dear wife to this hotel, I hope next year, because I did not manage to visit all the goals I set for myself. Thank you to Hotel Mio for the hospitality and kindness offered.

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel or anything else related to this visit to Florence

Not a bad option for an overnight stay if you plan to visit Florence. There is a private parking. It is a bit difficult to find, but it is closed and you do not have to worry about your car. A typical Italian breakfast: there are pastries, a little bit of cold meats, coffee, juice, and there was also muesli and yogurt.

We got a room for disabled people and it was uncomfortable. Maybe all the numbers there are like that, I don’t know. What was inconvenient: - unusually high toilet. A small child definitely won't sit on it. - a shower enclosure is simply a curtain that stretches across the middle of the bathroom. - noisy, poor sound insulation. You can hear the toilet flushing in the room above.

Florence is a truly magnificent city, boasting not only its beauty but also the warmth of its people and the excellence of its dining establishments. Our visit was made all the more delightful by the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. The breakfast was not only delicious but also served with genuine care and attention. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay. When we encountered an issue with our bank card and were unable to secure our bus tickets, the hotel staff came to our aid by helping us purchase the tickets with cash. This assistance was invaluable, especially given the exorbitant cost of train travel. The price difference between the tickets for three adults traveling from Florence to Milan is a substantial €190.

Location was amazing. On the tram line that goes between the airport and the train station. It's so easy to get to hotel by tram if not too late. The breakfast was fun too. Great coffee machine and some homemade treats with generous selection. And the staff were all nice! We used this hotel before and after our travels around Italy and found it perfect as it was still easy to take tram into center and sightsee.

It's not a luxury hotel but it's functional value cannot be overstated. Don't expect to hangout in your room etc.

It's a decent hotel, staffed h24, convenient for the airport, which is only 3 stops away on the tram. The historic city centre is 11 or 12 tram stops in the other direction. Breakfast was a pretty good continental buffet where the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had good heating, which could be controlled, and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom.

There is nothing to complain about.

The staff were really polite and helpful, and the room was spotlessly clean. We also liked that there was a refrigerator in the room (although tiny and not very cold). The choice of food during breakfast was decent.

The bathroom was rather small, there were no drinking glasses in the room except for the plastic cups in the bathroom. A kettle would have been nice too. The coffee they offered for breakfast was below our expectations (but maybe it’s a matter of taste)

The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room had everything I needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I felt safe and well taken care of during my stay.

There was nothing I didn’t like — everything was well-organized and pleasant.

Mio Hotel is away from the tourist populated city center and I felt as if I got a much more local vibe. The breakfast was well curated for carnivores and vegetarians, I really enjoyed the muesli! My partner enjoyed the meats and cheeses. The bus stop is about a 10 minute walk and in good weather, it is a dreamy little walk. In the rain, a little less dreamy but still quaint.

The owners (a lovely husband and wife team) were really kind helpful - explaining how to get into the town centre, station etc. They lent me an adaptor so I could charge my phone, and they let us to leave our bags securely for the day after checkout - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely, particularly the fresh pastries and cake baked by the host! The hosts also recommended a lovely local restaurant.
