We booked this room near the airport for our last night in Florence before catching our flight the next morning. The owner/host Eliana was absolutely wonderful. She had us follow her car in our rental car to help us get to the airport rental car return, she engaged with us and the other two couples staying there in great conversation over wine in the evening, and she insisted on helping us get our luggage to the tram stop in the morning to get to the airport. The tram is very close to the B&B, and there is just one stop before reaching the airport.

Our GPS had a hard time finding the property, which was a very minor problem for a great stay!

Our flight got in to Florence late at night and we had another flight early the next morning and this was the perfect place to stay for our layover. It was extremely close to the airport (5 minutes by taxi 10 minutes by tram). Eliana was very kind and waited for us to arrive even though it was way past regular check in time. The room was clean, comfortable and well air conditioned. Eliana provided a very nice buffet breakfast the next morning including gluten free items for my daughter with celiac.

Eliana was wonderful! She was so helpful. She was very clear with her instructions on how to get around and about the accomodations of the B&B. Although we were only a 6 min drive from the airport, we were nervous about getting there on time for a very early flight at 6:30am. She arranged a driver to pick us up at 4am and he was not only on time, but early. She made us an excellent dinner on our last night and she was so warm, welcoming and hospitable. It was like staying with a family member. I would highly recommend this B&B.

The only thing that could use a bit of improvement might be the mattresses in the room. They were a bit saggy and/or lumpy.

Eliana was born to be in the tourism industry. She made the stay wonderful with her flexibility, warmth, generosity, and culinary skills! There is a private outdoor seating area that was perfect for dinner or a glass of wine!

We did not like the neighborhood and could not find conveniences near us. That being said, we chose this location for its proximity to the airport as we were leaving early the next morning. For that, the neighborhood was perfectly located directly on the tram and 2 stops from Amerigo Vespucci.

Eliana is so warm and welcoming. The B&B is a nice place to relax and wind down from travels. It is off the Tram so easy access to sights in Florence, Santa Novella train and airport. It's located in a neighborhood area so quieter and away from all the tours in center. She has a wonderful breakfast andnalso offers dinner (for additional fees). I was traveling Italy for work and flew in/out of Florence. Earlier in my trip I stayed in Santo Spirito area to explore city a few days. On my return I picked Eliana's spot because it was to stops from the Florence airport. If I would have realized how easy it was to get two sites from her place and how quiet I would have booked the earlier part of my trip here . FYI the Florence airport is so easy to check in. I'm from the States and you need to give yourself plenty of time. I was fine for an international flight giving myself two and a half hours... Love Florence, people, sights and food!

Eliana was extremely warm and friendly and willing to help and give tourist suggestions. The room was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. Parking was possible next door in an enclosed space for a small daily fee. Eliana sorted this for us. Eliana was kind enough to suggest my partner tale up breakfast to my room when I overslept after a busy day so I didnt miss it. She also waited up for us when we arrived quite late. Air con was fab shower was great. Mini fridge was a nice touch and toileteries. Breakfast was lovely and generous.

There was some noise at night coming from a party venue next door. It was not unbearable though and did settle around 1am. The room was slightly on the small side for those with large luggage or for longer stays.

Host, location, host, comfortable room, host! We had a wonderful 3 nights in Florence with Eliana as our host. While the room is basic, but comfortable our stay was a delight - we enjoyed Eliana’s cooking in the evenings and mornings, and conversations with her and her husband. The location is steps away from the 15 minute tram into Florence (which also connects to the airport) which made it a haven away from the crowds (even in mid May) in Florence. Eliana also provided secure parking close by. However, there is not much in the way of cafes, bars or restaurants in the immediate area.

We chose B & B Eliana because of its proximity to the airport and an early morning flight. It takes about 10 min to get to the airport by tram, or if you're like us and have a lot of bags, an affordable shuttle can be arranged. We also had a tasty home cooked meal in the garden, and Eliana packed us a breakfast to go for the morning due to the early time of our departure. Communication with Eliana was excellent from the time of booking to saying goodnight before we left. Overall this stay was exactly what we were looking for. I only wish I realized how easy it was to take the tram into Florence, we would have arrived earlier and spent the day exploring.

We have no big complaints. The bathroom is not large, which may be an issue for some people. Our room also faced the tram tracks, but it didn't bother us since we had the windows closed and air conditioning on.

The location is ideal for those who want to stay near the Peretola airport, only a 10 minute drive. It is not clear the property is a B and B, but once you get in it is clear that it is a small but well-run establishment. The room and bathroom facilities were spotless and comfortable. The owner and host Eliana was very cordial and helpful. As I was traveling under pressure, I failed to note that I needed to reserve a lunch for the day I arrived. Eliana was more than accommodating, preparing me a great homemade lunch of tagliatelle with sugo, wine, water, bread, a delicious fresh salad, all in abundance, in a very sweet and small garden right next to the property. She was so kind as to help me with my heavy luggage as well as arrange for a driver for me at 3:45 am for a 6 am flight. Moreover, as I was confused as to how to let myself out, out of which locked door, early in the am, I had to call her, and she very graciously came to show me how to get out. I was very grateful for her kind and warm attention to me. I hope I get a chance to return!
