I stayed at Relais Bijoux with my family (5 adults, 1 infant) and we had a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful, and it is situated quite high up so the views of Ischia are phenomenal. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety and excellent coffee. Carlo was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, carefully choosing the best rooms for each of us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Carlo and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay at the property and saw all that Ischia has to offer. I also loved the pool! I can’t recommend this place enough!

The breakfasts, the staff, the rooms - it was all amazing! It’s a bit of a trek to get to, but the free ride to and from the port by Jamil is fab, and the spectacular view makes it all worth it. Carlo was a fantastic host, he was always ready to greet us at breakfast and have a nice chat, and was happy to arrange things for us. The rest of the staff were also lovely, easy to talk to and happy to help. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The communal area is beautiful, a lovely green oasis. Overall a great find!

I wish the swimming pool was a bit warmer and cleaned a bit more often; I didn’t get many chances to swim in it which was a shame, but whenever I did there was too many bugs, leaves, etc to swim comfortably. It’s also a bit of a pain to get to but the free shuttle and views make up for this!

Carlo and his team did everything to ensure we had a relaxing and memorable stay. A beautiful property set up on the hill with a spectacular view from our room (and the common areas) over Ischia Porto, Ischia Ponte and as far as Vesuvius. Delicious cornetto, cakes and coffee served on the terrace. The room was comfortable and clean. We met other lovely guests there. Shuttle provided on demand to allow easy transfer to town (5 mins) although we enjoyed the 15 minute walk up and down.

Nothing worth mentioning

Fabulous views from the terraced areas, and a lovely place to sit for breakfasts, (we were lucky with sunny weather in mid October) Lovely friendly host, nothing too much trouble. The property is up a steep road (hence the amazing views) but Carlos happily drove us up and down to the Port where there are many busses to take you to other towns on the island. We did walk to the port a couple of times and it took about 15 minutes. We didn't use the swimming pool, it was small ( but as described in the property details) it was lovely and clean with plenty of lovely lounging areas,

Nothing to dislike, everything was as described in the details. I would say the room is very traditionally decorated. If you like slick modernist interiors,and hi-tech gadgets, then maybe this is not your style of place.

I read the review is this place and thought it might be too good to be true, but took a chance. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The service is top notch. On our arrival, we got a ride up to the property. Carlo, the owner, met us personally with a map of the island, refreshments, and made us feel completely at home. Dinner was fantastic, breakfast was a wonderful buffet selection of fruit, pastries and coffee. His attention to detail was meticulous. The workers at the property were attentive to our every need. The pool was small but a welcome refresher from the heat. There was a poolside shower, a friendly cat and the cool breezes. Can’t speak highly enough of this place, especially staying here after Naples - it was a welcome respite. 10 out of 10.

Relais Bijoux is one of the most beautiful properties we stayed at during our Italy vacation . The view from up the hill is breathtaking and the ambience is so relaxing . Carlo and his staff will make you feel like family with their attention , friendliness and warmth . Transportation was provided from ferry port and back to it . Carlo gave us some ideas on what to do which was appreciated . The breakfast was fantastic . Toti makes the best Cornetti and it was refreshing talking to her and seeing how much pride she takes on what she does . I can't wait to go back some day and hopefully stay longer to get to see more of this beautiful island . Thank you Carlo , Toti , Ciamir and staff !

What a wonderful, relaxing experience. This was my first trip to Ischia. The B&B was in a great location but note it is not near any of the main towns if you want activity and nightlife. I wanted relaxation and it was a great place for that. Carlo, the owner, and his team want to ensure your satisfaction so don't hesitate to ask if there is something you need or want.

The water pressure at times was low and wifi could be spotty but neither would hinder me from booking again. In fact I already have a reservation for a return trip.

Exceptional experience! Words can't do justice to what an amazing time we had at Relais Bijoux - truly one of the most unique and memorable hotel stays we've ever had. Carlo and his staff are the warmest and most gracious hosts. The view is sensational, the breakfast is amazing, and the hotel staff make you feel like you are truly part of their Italian family. We were so glad we chose to stay here and not in town (which is just a short walk or taxi ride away). We can't wait to return to Ischia and stay at Relais Bijoux again!

The Relais Bijoux is a lovely B&B with a magnificent view overlooking the coast. The B & B is only realistically accessible from the port by car or taxi (walking would take 20-30 minutes up very steep and narrow roads that drivers speed through), but the owner Carlos offered to drive us down and pick us up every time which was excellent service as he didn't need to do so. The staff working there are lovely and so is Carlos himself (His English wasn't great at all, but we made do by using Google Translate). The room was lovely and of a big enough size for the two of us. For breakfast, there was a lot of tasty options to choose from (didn't seem to be many gluten-free options for my partner though). Overall the Relais Bijoux is a lovely and romantic place to stay, just make sure you are aware of the distance between it and the port.

Our first night's stay was not a great start as we wanted to get an early night due to all of the travelling but was kept up until the early hours of the morning by the noise of Carlos and his friends who were seemingly having a dinner party in the reception area (His livingroom) The pool was very unclean and clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages, this was upsetting because it was one of the attractions of the B&B. It was also clear to see that the Relais Bijoux has been hit hard by COVID because there was a lot of details that hadn't been properly attended to. E.g. a lot of the paintwork is old/ peeling, a wall in our bathroom had bits falling out of it and also the outdoor furniture and surrounding area hadn't been cleaned in a long while.

This place has the most amazing view to wake up to - Naples and the coast, Procida and Vesuvius. Carlos and his staff are really welcoming and the place has a lovely atmosphere. There's a good breakfast buffet with a savoury choice and fruit as well as the usual Italian cakes. The hotel is up a hill but daily transfers to and from the port are free. There's a personal touch with this place that's often lacking these days. We loved it and what made it even more special was a day trip round the island by boat, courtesy of Fabio. It's a treat but if you can afford it, absolutely do it - amazing. We'll definitely be back, thanks everyone. 👌
