My family and I had a wonderful time at Sweet Poseidon. Extraordinary view, close proximity to great beaches and restaurants. Antonio and his family and staff are wonderful. We got in late after dinner, so Antonio offered to make us a few sandwiches and left them in our room for us. My 3 year old son was treated like royalty and was really sad to leave his newfound friends. We were there celebrating my wife's 30th birthday, and they sang to her with a candle at both breakfast and dinner. Beautiful breakfast spread, and the dinner (which is offered for an additional fee) was exceptional each night. I hope to be back very soon.

I wasn't totally clear on how much extra dinner or wine was before we paid, which would've been helpful information. (There's also a chance that I was given that information and missed it.)

This was our first visit to Ischia, and we consider ourselves fortunate to have had Sweet Poseidon as our accommodation! This is a charming, family-run business and guests are treated with lots of warmth and hospitality. Antonio went above and beyond to make our stay convenient and enjoyable, from helping with transport to and from the ferry, making recommendations, arranging our dinner in, and facilitating scooter rental. Everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming. The property is on a winding hill just outside Forio - the view is spectacular and it’s nice to have the contrast of a relaxed location while still being able to easily explore this wonderful island. We would not hesitate to return or recommend Sweet Poseidon!

The wifi didn't work really on the first day, but to be honest, wifi is not really needed as the signal in the island is good.

This family run hotel is extraordinary in every way. Our host Antonio was delightful and made us feel incredibly welcome. He helped us organise bike hire and boat hire, and gave excellent advice about local thermal parks and other attractions. He was very helpful, transporting us locally on numerous occassions. The hotel is in a serene environment with an excellent breakfast, with the option to eat dinner on the premises, cooked by members of Antonio's family. Family is central to this hotel, and everyone at the property made us feel like part of the family. We highly recommend Sweet Poseidon for a relaxing and peaceful stay. Grazie Antonio and staff!

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful – I'm happy to call them my friends. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a wonderful view of Forio and the coast below. Transportation was easy, as Antonio was able to secure a scooter and have it dropped off at the hotel.

We liked everything!!! The hotel was in a strategic point and the view overlooking the bay of Chitarra was amazing day and night. Antonio, the owner, picked us up from the port of Forio, and took us to the hotel on arrival. Exceptional Staff!!

A wonderful authentic Italian experience on the island of Ischia. The stunning location, the home cooking, value for money and most of all the kindness of the host Antonio and his family made this stay truly magnificent.

Absolutely loved sweet Poseidon. Owners and staff went out of their way to make our trip wonderful. Room was spacious and clean. Food was great and we loved the pool. The very best thing though was watching the sunset every night while having dinner on the terrace. Can’t wait to go back!

The view is to die for...Antonio the owner is amazing hospitable and kind.

The location gives access to the most stunning views of Ischia. The setting was peaceful & quiet. The staff were attentive & really helpful but without being over bearing.
