We spontaneously booked the room in the evening and the owners were extremely kind and welcoming despite the last minute check in. The room and bathroom were big and even had a balcony with seaview. Since the room we got was built "into the hill" it was cooler, which I imagine is great for the heat of summer. And even when its colder, they have an AC which we used to warm up. For breakfast they have a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea which we absolutely loved. We could also leave our luggage there after check out. We had a lovely experience and would definitely come again

Our family (husband, two kids, and I) had an amazing time at Hotel Punto Azzurro in Ischia. After a bit of wandering with our rental car, we found this hidden gem. The tranquil and secluded location offered breathtaking views from the balconies and terrace. The hotel is lovely, with clean, cool rooms that have a charming local vibe. The included breakfast was delightful, and the owners were incredibly pleasant, catering to all our needs and making beautiful cocktails. We explored the whole island, visiting Baia di Sorgeto, Spiaggia dei Maronti, Sant'Angelo, Lacco Ameno, Negombo Thermal Baths, and the Giardini la Mortella Botanical Garden. Each place was stunning.

Driving to the hotel can be tricky, especially on narrow streets with a stick shift, so consider a taxi or the hotel's transfer service.

Spacious room and clean, quite cool inside

The location - very off the beaten track. If you’re not motorized in any way it’s very difficult to move around. The property is immense and beautiful with great views but it’s seriously outdated. It’s like a travel back in time. The shower cabin is super small and impractical. It’s so difficult to take a decent shower. The breakfast could be better. Breakfast is mainly cakes and croissants + apples, bananas, yoghurt, butter and white bread. The wifi is bad. Even the internet and phone signal overall.

The location, the view and it was very peaceful and quiet.

it was a bit distant but in the other hand this made the stay very relaxing, the staff was very kind and helpful and the view stunning! If would have been great to have the opportunity to have meals during the evening though. The staff was very service minded and had a driving service whenever we needed to reach the beach, restaurants and bus stop so appreciated!

Vito and all staff were very nice and super helpful! They would go above and beyond. Amazing sea view, beautiful terrace, very peaceful and quiet surroundings. Great breakfast! It is off the main road but Vito or his staff takes you and picks you up from the bus stop pretty much whenever you need. There is a bus close by that takes around the whole island. Vito helped us to rent a scooter which was brought to the accommodation, same price as bikes off the street. I loved that it wasn't as busy as other parts of the island and very harmonic. The place needs some updates, but the hospitality from the staff makes up for everything. I would definitely go back and stay longer!!!

We loved the view from the terrace where we spent many of our evenings; it’s really relaxing and exceptional. The staff was amazing, always ready to go out of their ways to help you. The hotel is remotely located so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for Ischia’s party life; but it’s perfect if you want to rest and relax in the evening with not so many people around. There are free shuttles offered so you can get a ride to the closer bus stop and reach your destination-we didn’t have a car or a scooter so we really appreciated that.

Lack of the fridge in the room-but we can always use a small fridge in the reception and also ask for ice cubes, so it wasn’t an issue.

This hotel is perfect for a long stay vacation in ischia. Very affordable and lovely location, quite remote and isolated, if that's what you're looking for. I would not recommend booking here for 1-2 days; you'd need 3 days minimum to make it worth the trip because it's about an extra hour from the port (via island bus, which is quite accessible). Lovely breakfast. Great staff. Incredible scenery.

Quite remote. Minimal room amenities (no fridge, no really much in the room). Not close to restaurants. If you want long nature walks then this would be your place, otherwise it has poor accessibility. However, the staff are incredibly kind and will pick you up from the main city area.

The hotel is great, Vito (the manager is even better - he is so lovely and helpful). The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant as advertised (just a place to have breakfast). Not all rooms are sea view - ours was sea glimpses even though we booked a deluxe double with sea views (see pics). The terrace is fantastic for watching sunsets. Vito is so kind and accommodating.

You need a car here. No restaurants at all nearby. No supermarkets nearby. Our fault didn’t look properly at a map. Property would be fantastic if owners invested more money. Gardens dry/dead and over run. The terrace would be fantastic if they had a bar there for guests. Bar is already there but not used.

Amazing location with fantastic views over the water, really good host that could help us to arrange aperetivo in the evenings and helped us with transfer to the nearest village where there were several restaurants (the pizzeria was our favorite).

Fantastic sea view from the room window. Beautiful terraces with sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Quiet and cozy. We were greeted by the owners, very nice and attentive people. The two-room suite has a double bed and a separate single bed for our grandson, snow-white towels and bedding. To stay at this hotel it is advisable to have personal transport. We would like to visit this hotel again.
