Staying at Le Farfalle( Butterflies) was a bliss. The location is very convenient. You are a few minutes away from the train station, there is everything you would ever need, around the area. The market is about 10 min walk, you'll realise that you're staying in the town centre. However, the accommodation was fantastic. Patrizia is one of the best hosts I've ever met. You'll see. She speaks English and she can advise you about whatever you need. The room is very well equipped, and I had everything I needed for 5 days I stayed in my Papillon suit. Very well impressed, thank you, Patrizia!!

Patrizia is very sweet and helpful. Having found out I travel alone, she provided me with some helpful tips about the city. The accomodation was perfect - from location (cca 300m from the station and another 300m to the city historical center), through cleanliness, to comfort. The bed was pretty big for one person, there was a toilet room and a bathroom attached. Patrizia changed the towels after 2 days and the linnen after 3. The room also came with a small fridge and a coffee-maker. Patrizia provided coffee capsules, water, and small sweet treats every day when she came in to clean up the room. There was even a TV I could watch. Overall, the accomodation is perfect and I highly recommend it.

The property was excellently located for easy access to the Cinque Terre Region via the main station. It was also easy to walk to the harbour and get a ferry to Porto Venere. I felt extremely safe within the property with a locked door to the main building, a passcode to the property and a lock on my room. I am a solo female traveller so safety is important to me. The property was very clean and the hosts extremely kind, explaining the details of my stay and giving tips for how to get about and what to see. Little extras like a fridge, water , biscuits , tea and coffee, shower gel, a hair dryer were really nice. I would definitely use the accommodation again and recommend as a good base for seeing the area.

Nothing - it was great for a town centre. I would say care is needed near the station area as there seemed to be street drinkers about. But this is not a bad comment on the property as every care has been taken to make it secure.

Everything was just right. Location, ease of checking in and out. The host helped us in deciding on some of the things we wanted to do, suggesting restaurant and other local tips. We couldn’t have a better experience. One thing that is always an important thing for me is PILLOW… and usually I bring my own wherever I go… here the pillows were just right not too hard and high :)

This is something totally personal. For my back and neck problems I need a harder bed, so this was a bit soft for me, but my friend was happy with the bed.

Location was perfect - short walks to the train station and into town for bars/restaurants. Amazing bakery a few doors away for breakfast pastries. Really comfy beds and liked having a coffee machine in the room. Patrizia was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information to help us get the most out of our stay.

Room was on the ground floor with a tarmac area outside so not the best view but then we weren’t in our room much. Something in the room was noisy at night - think it might have been the fridge - but by the second night of our stay we were getting used to it and it didn’t stop either of us sleeping.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this outstanding hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The room was immaculate and the cleanliness was exceptional, making for a very comfortable stay. The hospitality we experienced was truly amazing. Patrizia stood out with her incredible kindness and helpfulness. She provided us with excellent directions to tour Le Cinque Terre, which made our visit even more enjoyable and memorable. One of the aspects that made our stay especially reassuring was the emphasis on safety. The hotel had multiple safety locks, and we felt completely secure during our entire stay. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!

The room was great, clean and in a.good location close to the station. Was easy to travel to Le Cinque Terre by train or Ferry and I was grateful I didn't have to carry my luggage with me 😄 The owners were wonderful. Patrizia gave me all the local info and map which was very helpful. Her husband even came and saved me when I managed to lock myself out the first day. A kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits were included as well as a coffee pod machine 😲 It was fantastic. It's my favourite accommodation so far on Italy. I would highly recommend.

I booked a single room but it was more like a double both in size and the so comfy double bed ! It was spotlessly clean, had a great shower and excellent air con and it was very secure. Patrizia was a wonderful host - provided a map and recommendations of places to visit and restaurants. La Spezia is a beautiful town, La Farfalle is a great accommodation and Patrizia a wonderful host.

The room was very nice and clean and a good size. It was very secure. The toilet /bidet and shower were in separate rooms and very clean. Everything I needed was provided including biscuits! Patrizia was very kind and welcoming and gave me plenty of information about the Cinque Terre and how to plan my days. The location was excellent, central but also very close to the train station. Although breakfast was not available, there is an excellent cafe called C'est Bon, located close by on the way to the train station.

Clean, comfortable, very close to the train station, and the bus stop for Porto Venere is just one block away. The commercial district is also less than 10 minutes walk and the harbor about a 15 minute walk. The owner is fantastic and can answer questions and provide advice on where and how to go. I thought for the price the room was an excellent value.

The room size was fine for one person but might feel cramped for two, especially if you have a lot of luggage.
