We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Bignami. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The whole B & B was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and quiet AC unit. Breakfast was superb with a huge selection to choose from. Located very close to the old centre of Lecce. Parking is a bit tricky but we always found a space. Spacious roof top terrace to relax on. The owners have gone the extra mile to make their guests stay excellent.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Palazzo Bignami is sited in a great location, that is quiet, but less than 10 minutes' walk into the Old City or train station in the opposite direction. The B&B was spotlessly clean, and our room was spacious and well decorated. The bonus is the rooftop terrace on the third floor that has comfortable seating for relaxing in the afternoon or enjoying a drink in the evening. Liana and Enzo were friendly, but unobtrusive hosts and very willing to help. Great breakfast and an enormous board of cheese and meats available to purchase in the evening, along with bottles of wine. We really enjoyed our stay.

There is nothing we didn't like. As a B&B, there is no bar, but bottles of wine can be purchased before 20:00 and there is an honesty bar for soft drinks and bottled beer. There are plentiful bars and restaurants within a short walk.

Fantastic stay here, excellent location, quiet rooms, very clean, comfy beds, wonderful roof terrace, stylish decor, would highly recommend.

The rooms have very high ceilings so the air conditioning struggles to cope. The only way to achieve a comfortable temperature was to leave the a/c on during the day while we were out. To do this, you have to request a second key to allow the a/c to work. There is a charge of 15 euros a day for this. If the a/c was strong enough, it would be ideal to be able to just switch the a/c while in the room (more environmentally friendly too), but it was unable to cope with cooling the room quickly. During the summer, of course all guests will want a cooled room, so it would be fairer to charge this fee up front. If it wasn’t for this, I would have given a top rating.

Beautifully decorated! Just stunning. We felt so welcome. Their dog Mimi stole our hearts. We wanted to take her home with us. Our room was so lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed. They supplied shampoos, vanity kits, shower cap and slippers. It was spacious and wonderful. The breakfast room was next level. Decorated to the 9’s and the food was amazing. A fantastic assortment of fruits, pastries, meats and breakfast items. You had your choice of cappuccinos, teas and juices. It was such a wonderful way to start the day! The terrace on the top floor was also gorgeous. We ate a late night pizza up there. It was so lovely to look over the historical part of Lecce and relax. We truly enjoyed our stay, could not recommend more!

We didn’t stay longer.

Street parking is available outside the property. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, comfy bed and pillows and a good sized well stocked bathroom. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room and as we were a group of 4 we sat at the large shared table. Liana and Enzo (and Minnie the dog) were delightful and on hand morning and afternoon/evening to offer help and advice. There is a lift and I would recommend taking a bottle of fizz up to the roof terrace which is huge with lots of seating options. We ordered pizzas and enjoyed a fabulous evening up there! They operate an honesty bar with water, tea and coffee also readily available in the breakfast room. The decor is stunning and the attention to detail makes this a very special place to stay. I would highly recommend!

Warm welcome by owners. Accommodation is very well furnished and I like the eclectic style. My wife liked the bathrobes- the only place to include these so 5 stars!. Also, best breakfast out of 6 masserias/hotels we stayed in on a tour of Puglia: home-made cakes and food choice was superb-plus I like the communal dining table as well as the choice of dining on individual tables. Hotel is well located on the edge of the Old Town so easy to walk in and to see all that Cecce has to offer.

Room was very warm at night, despite opening windows or closing and running the aircon- min temp appears to be set too high vs our preference. Parking is on public highway, so you may have to look hard for a space, but no charge.

The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the old town. There is no parking problem, you can park right in front of the building and it is free. The room decoration is extraordinary, every detail has been considered. Soft, soothing colour choice, comfortable, cosy environment. Spotless clean bathroom. The breakfast room is great and the breakfast is delicious, with plenty of local dishes. The hosts are very kind and helpful and Mimi is a little bonus. They are doing more than “ b&b “ , this place is better than 5-star hotel. Congratulations!

Amazing rooftop terrace, cosy, very comfy. spacious, superb breakfast, quieter neighborhood. Very clean, generous amenities, lovely decor, attentive hosts. The little dog is cute! And if you also like cats, stay next door at Aedes, which has garden access & kitty cats.

Awful smell from bathroom faucet, which I’ve discovered in other Lecce hotels as well - recommend to keep bathroom window slightly open at night.

A beautiful old Palazzo 3minutes walk straight to the historic town. It’s a stunning property beautifully decorated. The rooms have high ceilings and are large and perfectly decorated with artistic flare. Liana and Enzo have put particular effort into making their Palazzo an exceptional place to stay. Delicious breakfast and fantastic rooftop area to enjoy day or evening. Bonus, free public parking just out front if you arrive during the day, if not then you can find further along the road or nearby street. Fantastico!

No fridge in the room. But we have found this is quite common throughout Italy and no big deal. A small fridge would be a fabulous bonus. Though they do offer wines and beer at the Palazzo at a reasonable price if you need it. Cold bottled water is also available to drink there complimentary. It’s a lovely place to stay and very peaceful as well.

You can't get any closer to the city centre than this. There's almost always parking space in the street, and if not, drive around the block. Rooms are spacy and clean. Breakfast is exellent. Try to steal the bacony table if you can ;). And then there is the roof terras...wonderful in the evening. The whole place is decorated very nicely.
