Staff was helpful in getting us tickets for the bus ride into Venitzia, one kind staff member went to a factory and bought a big bag of candy for one of our party, she was delighted. WIFI worked great, breakfast was wonderful. Location could not have been better.

I don’t think anything. They stores luggage for 14 from 11am till check in time in a secure room. that was so helpful. Parking is behind a locked fence, very secure. Its a great place

The rooms were spotless, very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly especially the overnight receptionist he was lovely!

It was far from the centre which we knew it was only a one night stay but transport in Venice isn’t so cheap so it was quite expensive going back and forth to the centre.

Exceptionally helpful receptionist. Detailed written instructions provided on how to get in and out of Venice. Bus stop right outside, 15 minutes to Venice. Buy a ticket (2.5 euros) in hotel. Railway 7 minutes walk away. Next stop Venice in 5 minutes. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Located in a light industrial area so no shops or restaurants nearby if you don't have a car. Mestre town centre about 1 km away. Hotel does have a bar.

It is remote from any eateries, so we used to eat in Venice in the evening before catching the train back to the hotel.

Amazing staff on the 24 hour reception. They arranged a shuttle from and to the airport which made the transfer stress free. 24 hour bar to make up for there not being a kettle in the room - personally, I preferred someone else making a better coffee/tea than I would have in the the room. The breakfast was lovely and extremely cheap. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The balcony with a table and chairs made a lovely addition to the room, especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which made getting to and from Venice a breeze. Bus tickets are available from reception. For anyone moaning about there not being any restaurants near to the hotel, either eat when in Venice before returning or order a delivery from Just Eat, there are plenty of restaurants on there which deliver to the hotel. This hotel is much cheaper than one in the heart of Venice and it is so easy to travel to and from. The buses stop around 6pm then there is a rail service from the station 10 minutes walk away. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, very modern and super clean with comfortable beds. There is a small refrigerator in the room.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything you need is just a few blocks away, large grocery store , bars and resturaunts. The bus stops right infront and its only a short ride to Venice. Great Price. I highly recommend this hotel

The Hotel is located close to Venice Centre. With regular bus service situated directly outside the Hotel which takes you straight into the centre of Venice. Also there is a Train Service located within 10 minute walking distance which also takes you into the Centre of Venice. The Hotel overall is very good, and the cleanliness excellent. The staff are friendly and approachable when you need advice on Venice,and any other issues that you may have during your stay. Would highly recommend the Alveri Hotel.

Nice and clean hotel in a quiet location (train tracks close to the hotel but we did not hear them in the room). The location is not in Venice, but this is in my opinion a plus: easy to securely park you car on the gated parking and calm. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel and the bus takes you to Venice in just 15 minutes. Breakfast was good with sufficient choices.

Although there were boiled eggs, adding some fried eggs might be the cherry on top of the cake ;-).

The room was clean and tidy. The personal was helpful and friendly. Train station 800m walk then 1 stop to Venice main station for 1.5€. (Tickets only online). Bus stop to Venice at the front of the hotel entrance. Bus ticket from concierge 2.5€. Free parking at the hotel is also a great value. Brakfast cafe and croissant (italian b.f.) 3€ or full breakfast for 9€ is also outstanding. The room was quite and the AC temerated our room easily. We had a small fridge in our room, but I missed a teapot for hot water. It is a small thing.

Although it was in the middle of nowhere, there is a bus stop right by the door that takes you to Venice, Mestre station (where the aurport bus arrives) and Mestre downtown. The staff are very helpful and they provided the transport information to reach the hotel beforehand, and the way public transport works when doing checkin. Bus tickets are available (although more expensive than in vending machines, buses accept credit cards on board as well). Buffet breakfast was the appropriate value, while the room was spacious and clean.

Mosquitos, but that's Venice's problem, not the hotel's.

There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that transported us quickly to central Venice and it runs very often. If you miss the last bus there is a train station 700m (10-15min walk). The staff was amazing, the accomodation is very clean and modern. Breakfast was nice. The hotel has its own free parking with a gate. Btw, best way to go about Venice is to get the 25 euro daily pass for all transport. You'll need it for water taxis and that's the best way to explore Venice.

If you stay late and go back with the train, the walk home from the station is a bit dark and suspicious. It's an industrial zone and doesn't feel very comfortable.
