Staff was helpful in getting us tickets for the bus ride into Venitzia, one kind staff member went to a factory and bought a big bag of candy for one of our party, she was delighted. WIFI worked great, breakfast was wonderful. Location could not have been better.

I don’t think anything. They stores luggage for 14 from 11am till check in time in a secure room. that was so helpful. Parking is behind a locked fence, very secure. Its a great place

Hotel Alverì is in an extremely convenient location just about a 10-minute walk from Porto Marghera train station (not all trains stop there, but at most you wait 20 minutes for one that does). There is plenty of parking right at the hotel. The area is quiet — you only hear trains slightly and the soundproofing is generally good. Our room was cozy, with a comfortable bed, a balcony, a nice shower and an air conditioner that worked perfectly. There are no dishes or a corkscrew in the room, so you’ll need to bring your own or ask at the bar. Overall it suited us very well as an inexpensive and practical place to stay between visits to Venice.

Own large parking lot. Bus stop to Venice centre in front of hotel. Or train station 10-15 minutes walk from hotel to Venice centre. This was the reason for us to chose this hotel and it completely met our expectation. Room size was up to expectation and room was well-equipped. Good WiFi. Excellent breakfast. We received excellent information from the receptionist for our travel to Venice vice-versa. All staff was very friendly and helpful. It is located with a railway on one side and a through road on the other side, but none of them bothered us at all.

The hotel was good, we liked it and we might come back in future. Nice lady from reception saved us from waiting for a bus on Sunday,. We just forgot about it, but it was nice gesture to remind us and avoid frustration. The room was good, clean and "with balcony". Although the view from it is not nice, it was enyoyable to sit one evening and enjoy nice weather, so it was worth paying little extra.

The hotel is in industrial area, so nothing near by. There is a supermarket not far away, but unfortunately the walk there isn't nice and neighbourhood as well. The tickets in reception were overpaid - it should have been the same price like everywhere else.

Hotel was clean and the front desk staff was extremely helpful. Through their recommendation we were able to get the bus to the center, mere steps away from the exit of the lobby and was provided information on taking the correct train for our return. We were also able to book a shuttle to the cruise terminal the next morning. Coffee was available with a small fee downstairs at the lobby even late at night. The room was comfortable, bed was just right and the size of the room was spacious enough for 2 persons with full cases and carryon. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the center, via bus (€2.50 one way which you pay at the front desk) and via train (€1.50 mere 2 stops away with about 15 minutes walk back to the property) which makes it very ideal if you wish to stay away from the hustle and bustle. We were on our way to start a cruise and staying at this hotel was even much better, as shuttle over to the cruise terminal was 10 minutes away. Highly recommend for short stays or to be away from the center but quick access!

Convenient for travelling into Venice via public transport. Supermarket within walking distance.

Sadly my new white top went missing from the balcony after rinsing it through and hanging it out to dry in the corner. My husband's t-shirt was also hung out at the same time. His was much lighter than mine and both were on hangers but it was mine that went missing :( The staff were very helpful trying to locate it but it was nowhere to be found - where did it go I wonder? It was a shame they were unable to offer the bar snacks early evening.

Exceptionally helpful receptionist. Detailed written instructions provided on how to get in and out of Venice. Bus stop right outside, 15 minutes to Venice. Buy a ticket (2.5 euros) in hotel. Railway 7 minutes walk away. Next stop Venice in 5 minutes. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Located in a light industrial area so no shops or restaurants nearby if you don't have a car. Mestre town centre about 1 km away. Hotel does have a bar.

It is remote from any eateries, so we used to eat in Venice in the evening before catching the train back to the hotel.

The rooms were spotless, very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly especially the overnight receptionist he was lovely!

It was far from the centre which we knew it was only a one night stay but transport in Venice isn’t so cheap so it was quite expensive going back and forth to the centre.

Amazing staff on the 24 hour reception. They arranged a shuttle from and to the airport which made the transfer stress free. 24 hour bar to make up for there not being a kettle in the room - personally, I preferred someone else making a better coffee/tea than I would have in the the room. The breakfast was lovely and extremely cheap. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The balcony with a table and chairs made a lovely addition to the room, especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which made getting to and from Venice a breeze. Bus tickets are available from reception. For anyone moaning about there not being any restaurants near to the hotel, either eat when in Venice before returning or order a delivery from Just Eat, there are plenty of restaurants on there which deliver to the hotel. This hotel is much cheaper than one in the heart of Venice and it is so easy to travel to and from. The buses stop around 6pm then there is a rail service from the station 10 minutes walk away. Highly recommend this hotel.

Quite easy to get into Venice (bus just outside the hotel...6 days a week until mid evening; train station 10 minute walk but excellent cheap service). Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were fine - the mattresses were the best I've ever slept on! Breakfast was good (10 euros)

Location was bit odd. Very nice hotel in what feels a slightly remote industrial area (but don't be put off...it's a welcome contrast from the relentless bustle of venice). Not cheap (but nothing in venice is)
