I stayed at the hotel for three nights during my vacation, and the experience was excellent. The location is ideal – just a few minutes’ walk from the main train station, which made it very easy to reach the hotel from the airport and to get around the city and beyond. The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, which really helped me relax and enjoy my stay. Breakfast was good and satisfying, with a nice selection of hot and cold dishes. The variety remained the same throughout all three days, but it was still enjoyable each morning. I arrived late at night – after 11 PM – and was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome: one of the staff members patiently waited for me and greeted me with a smile, making sure I felt at ease right away. On the day of departure, I was also allowed to leave my luggage at the hotel until my flight, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy the rest of the day without worrying. The hotel staff was outstanding throughout my stay – friendly, attentive, helpful with every request, and happy to offer excellent tips about attractions, restaurants, and transportation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay, with exceptional service that goes above and beyond.

The hotel has private and secure parking, which was important to me because I came by car. The location of the hotel is excellent, if you plan to visit Venice, the bus and train station are very close. The staff is more than friendly. Tickets for public transport can be purchased at the reception. The room, like the entire hotel, was clean and tidy. The price per night was acceptable.

There really were no big downsides. It's a three-star hotel so the comfort, breakfast and decor are basic, but everything works very well. The street noise is quite loud so it's not advisable to sleep with the window open.

The hotel was VERY convenient for us as it was within a 10 min walk of the main Mestre train station (as we both arrived and left the Venice area....did not have to pay for a taxi)! There was also a local bus station right around the corner from the hotel allowing us to ride into Venice for the day using bus passes conveniently bought at the hotel!! The best part of the stay though was the sweet & helpful staff, and an absolutely incredible morning breakfast!! The selection was amazing (everything was so fresh and tasty) and free-flowing cappucinos, which we came to love all over Italy!

Even though the location was convenient to the Train Station, there wasn't that much to do or see while walking the local area....say within a 1/2 Km radius. Our time was less than 1 day at this location, and seeing Venice was our main goal while staying there, so Hotel Cris met our need very well!

Location is great, breakfast is the best. I've stayed in the old town week before, I chose to stay in Mestre to get the local day to day feeling than in the touristy part. If you're like me on the second part of your accommodation I'd suggest you do the same. Many restaurants nearby. Close to train station to go anywhere and convenient to the airport

Room a little small for 1 queen bed + 1 single bed. Room a bit damp and dark. Not the hotel fault but the airport taxi that the hotel called charged me 40 euros instead to 35Euros as agreed. The driver said it was because the hotel called the taxi not the passenger hailed him on the street. Well it should be lesser as the hotel bring you customer no?

The staff were great. Very helpful and cheerful. Asked for gluten free breakfast and it was super. Very large windows in the room which was a bonus. Room was next to the street but really quiet. The hotel is really close to the railway station and bus route to Venice so location spot on. Found the best Chinese restaurant ever just 2 minutes away. I'd definitely stay there again.

Shower far too small for the normal English person.Only just big enough for a skinny person like me. Bidet needs some attention.

Lovely warm welcome when we arrrived a couple of hours ahead of check-in time. Receptionist - who spoke excellent English - reallocated rooms so we could make ourselves at home straight away. She asked about our onward plans, recommended a taxi to the airport early the next day and booked it for us. Then, because we were leaving early she arranged for pastries and tea-making kit in our rooms, without us needing to ask. Her colleague on duty at 7am when we left was equally caring. Rooms were compact, functional and spotlessly clean.

We had an incredibly comfortable stay at Hotel Cris. The room was exceptionally clean, and every day we were provided with fresh towels and the room was tidied up. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. From the very first day, the receptionist took great care of all our needs. She was always open to answering our questions and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. On the last day, as we had an early departure, she even went above and beyond by bringing us our breakfast the day before to ensure we didn't miss it. We would definitely stay at Hotel Cris again and highly recommend it!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Very good location: walking distance from train station; bus stop to get to Venice is just around the corner - it makes the hotel a good choice to avoid expensive hotels in Venice. Silent night. Breakfast is superb: fruits, cold cuts, cereal, different kinds of bread and pastries, yogurt, juices and hot drinks.

The room is extremelly small - there is no space to open a suitcase. The bathroom is ok but the shower box is ridiculously small: if something falls from your hands, it is impossible to pick it up without opening the door! Our room was number 256. It may be a good idea to check if there are different room sizes.

I would like to thank you for the warm welcome, many thanks to the very helpful reception staff. The interior of the hotel and the room is not new, but everything is kept perfectly clean. The hotel is perfectly located, the bus stop is literally a couple of minutes walk away. The breakfast was good.

It would have been nice to have a duvet cover as I think it is unusual for many guests to use a sheet instead of a duvet cover and I was not entirely comfortable. Quite small shower cubicle.

Staff superbly friendly and helpful, room spacious, breakfast pleasant and a wide variety of things to eat and drink, very good location for both visiting Venice (no. 2 bus is actually 2 mins from hotel and 20 mins to Venice). Plenty of good restaurants nearby for dinner

Room is a little basic, but that was expected with the price, facilities to make a hot drink in the room would be much appreciated
