Beautiful room, nicely decorated and bright, offering a very pleasant stay !! ----Location is unbeatable, 3-4 min. to Mestre train station. In front of the station ,Bus No 2 takes you in 20 min. to ''Piazzale Roma''which is the starting point of the vaporettos around the canal or other buses.There is a big supermarket 3 min. walk from the guesthouse.Also''Tabacci'' shop to buy bus tickets. Around 150-200m on the right of the station, you will get the ATVO bus to Treviso or Marco Polo airport. ----The whole area is nice and very safe with lots of good hotels around the station,e.g. the Plaza, it doesn't look shaby like other towns'station areas. ----Very clean room and bathroom, mini fridge and a common kitchen corner where coffee -sugar , glasses, plates, kettle are provided. Not for cooking. ----Our room had a nice balcony, shared with another room, overlooking on a nice ,wide and rather quiet street, very well lighted, as the whole area. ----The most comfortable bed and pillows we had in all our tour in the area ! ----It was the best value for money comparing with other accommodations in the area. ----Check in was smooth, they were there on our arrival time.... We would go back for sure and strongly reccommend this place ! TIP: Inside the train station, at a newspaper-book shop, you can buy the 1, 2 or 3 days pass that covers unlimited transportation on bus, tram and vaporettos, very useful indeed, just validate each time this card before boarding......

---There is a sign in the room warning that drinking or eating is forbitten, which is rather annoying and strange... ---Toiletries should be of better quality, we couldn't open the shower jel plastic packing.. ---The t.v. ,in the second room we had, was out of order. we called and the receptionist told us that he knew it and he was sorry...It was dissapointing , because the management should have a second one stand by for such a case of damage. We own a guesthouse in Greece and we keep replacements for every device we provide...... ---Very thin '' blanket''for a cool October night, there should be more options provided for the guests' best comfort. We tried the A/C for a little heating but did not function ......

The room looked indeed very clean and polished, just like the photos and they made daily cleaning

The communication with the host was difficult and strange. Although they send you a standard info message just after the booking, the communication stopped then and they never answered the phone. First: I tried to reach them 3 days before the trip because I was surprised they tried to take money from my account although on booking they say you can pay at the property. No answer so I paid in advance to avoid cancelling the booking Second: The check out is rather early - at 10:30 so I tried to talk to them to allow us stay 1 more our or at least store our luggage. No answer, we only found the cleaning lady who does not speak English and said “No!”. Luckily I insisted and she called the host next door who approved storing the luggage.

This is a great place to stay in Mestre. Charming little guesthouse in a building with a lift and very close to Mestre railway station. The room was great, comfortable with heating, which is necessary in December. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

It's important to know that the reception is not open unless you are checking in. So, they need to know your exact time of arrival and even then, you may have to wait. I arrived and when nobody answered the doorbell or the phone, I got a bit nervous. But 20 minutes later the receptionist arrived, so all was well.

The location is great and only a short walk (5 mins or so) to the Mestre Train Station or bus stop that takes you to Venice. Great grocery store nearby to buy bread and other food. I would suggest getting the multi-day pass that includes the water buses/vaporettos because otherwise, you will walk A LOT in Venice without it. I was so tired after a day of walking (more than 20 thousand steps). The air conditioning worked well. There is a small common area with a working fridge, kettle, table, and chairs. I had booked a train out of Venice to Florence in the late afternoon at 5pm. But, even though there is a common area (which no one uses during the day because everyone is in Venice), the staff told me that I could not linger there and could only leave my luggage there until 3pm. They finally allowed me to stay there after speaking with them that I needed to do some work and would be leaving at 4pm. I appreciate the staff for letting me stay there to work, but it seems strange that the common area could not be used by departing guests.

There was a shelf above the extra bed so the third person on that bed would often bump their head when getting up or lying down. There was also a step up to go into the bathroom so not so good for older people. The hot water ran out one night when I wanted to shower. The mini-fridge in the room itself was broken. The blanket/comforter was just a thin bed sheet so it would be cold with the AC turned on.

Really good location - near a bus and a train that both go to Venice. Clean room. Kitchen was useful (microwave, dining table). The owner showed an interest in our stay. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something in the lower price range.

The front entrance to the building was dark and rather gloomy. It creates a first impression of a guest house that is actually quite bright and clean, once you get up to the second floor where it is located.

Guest House Train Station has current updates and is very clean. It is a very short 2 minute walk from the train station and an easy walk from many restaurants. The clean, safe, quiet room is exactly as advertised. Alam, the host, was lovely, had excellent communication, and arranged an taxi for an early morning flight.

These accommodations are basic and are perfect for a one night stay when you arrive late or need to leave early. I wouldn’t make this my home base for a long stay, but it absolutely did the job for our one night stay with a late arrival and early departure.

I gave them my arrival time and was greeted on arrival and shown to my room. The room was spotless and very well organized. The was also a kitchen available for shared use of other guests and also a shared area in the balcony for sitting outside. If I come back to Venice will definitely look to stay here again. Very convenient to railway and bus stations and I hood selection of shops and restaurants very nearby

Location was great for the train station to visit Venice and Treviso. Very clean room with modern bathroom, plenty of hot water and lovely towels. Excellent housekeeping. Wi-fi was good. Able to leave luggage last day until early afternoon. Safe in the room. Use of a balcony and a kitchen area.

Nothing to dislike

Excellent location for travelers - 400m to main train, main bus stations and bus to the Venice Airport. 9 min train ride to Venice. Room was very clean, newly remodeled. Guest House has a wonderful cozy, homy atmosphere, nicely decorated, it has a full kitchenette in lounge area - which is very convenient! Nice and friendly stuff!

There is nothing to see in the area but great easy to reach location to stay 1-2 nights for further traveling compensates it

The whole hotel was very clean and nice, everything looked fresh. The room itself was also very nice and clean. The bathroom was excellent. The hotel is located just 200m from the train station that will get you to Venice in 10 minutes or Verona in an hour. It makes for a great travelling base. I recommend it to everyone and I would not hesitate to visit again in the future.
