Location, price

Great value for money. The location is very good, right in front of the railway station and the bus station. Nearby, there are cafeterias and restaurants and a really good supermarket. The room was clean and comfortable. There are two bathrooms in the apartment, which means there is little chance you will have to wait in the mornings. We certainly did not have that problem. We had access to a kitchen with a fridge, microwave oven, dishes and cutlery, which made things considerably easier for us. Our host, Mohamed, was very professional, friendly and helpful. When we will return to Mestre, we will want to stay at the same place.

As noted by other travellers, there was some sewage smell in one of the bathrooms, but not all the time - and it certainly has nothing to do with the cleanliness at Happy Stay, which is very good, but, I suppose, with the pipes in the building.

Room 3 is the quietest room in the hotel. It had windows that you can pull down to block all incoming lights. You can also request to leave your luggage for 5 euro for any amount of luggage, though please don't abuse it by leaving more than 2 big luggages. Access to the station is pretty good since it's 3 mins away by walk.

Looking for the hotel can be abit tricky but I was able to inform the reception of the circumstances so I didn't have any issues even though we arrived past 11pm, they warned me about late check-in being 10 euro but it's not an issue as long as we were informed ahead of time.

across the street from trainstation, which takes you to Venice in 20 mins. Had airconditioning, two bathrooms (which are shared among the three rooms).

room #1 that I was staying in has some light leaking vai the glass in the door from the main corridor, which is less then ideal when you are trying to sleep, but other residents are coming home at night. also, the airconditioner might need its filter cleaned or something, because it wasnt super cold (though it was cold enough for the heatwave we were in).

The accommodation boasts a prime location, right next to Hotel Tritone, with the bus and train stations conveniently situated just across the road. A variety of nearby restaurants offer plenty of dining options. I’d rate the location a solid 10. The host was responsive and ensured a smooth stay. Overall, it’s excellent value for money. The only downside is the shared toilet, which we were aware of as it was clearly mentioned in the listing.

The location is great—right in front of the train station that takes you to Venice. There are also several really good restaurants nearby. Very convenient!

I would recommend changing the bed I got, as it was too firm, even for someone like me who needs an orthopedic mattress. Other than that, everything was good—a spacious room and a clean bathroom.

The host was cleaning the whole time so the place was very neat! Happy Stay is located right by the station where there's easy access to busses. There's a nice little park nearby and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Especially 'Ristorante da Michélé' right around the corner is a real treat! Upon arrival it was a little unclear as to where we had to go since there were no clear signs for the stay. But it is in the building of number 20 and the host arrived about 15 minutes after we called him. We had a very pleasant stay at this place and would recommend it to anyone who likes to travel on a budget.

A little unclear where exactly it was and the lights in the hallway randomly switched on during the night. But these are no real issues!

Happy stay is directly next to the station. Getting from and to the island Venice took 15 minutes and tickets cost 1,50€ or you buy a day ticket which includes waterbusses in the city. Perfect for turists. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpfull.

At was not easy to find at first since there was no sign or anything outside the building. No problem though since the staff replied immediatly and picked us up within a minute.

The location is perfect. Next to train and bus stations. Rooms are clean. There is a microwave, kettle and fridge in the kitchen. The apartment has a balcony.
