Just what we wanted, we went for the deluxe room, and it was massive. Huge double bed nice and firm. The whole hotel was very clean. Maid service really good. Toilets in Italy can be a little iffy, but all good in that area. The no2 bus to venice stopped literally just outside, although always crowded, not a long journey at all, and run after midnight. You have the option of a train too if you prefer but can be confusing. Get yourselves a night cap at the hotel bar next door and take it to your room. Express airport 20 min service stops 100m away, so really good too, just make sure you get the ticket for train station not the 'city'.

Breakfast wasn't included in our deal, we got it once on the first day, wasn't expensive but pretty basic buffet style, much preferred the pavement cafes in venice. We got a 3 day transport pass ( bus and water buses) which turned out to be the best way of travelling for us, really easy tap on system. Tried the train a couple of times, pretty cheap, but found it really confusing, you have to buy a ticket for a particular time, if you leave it too late you can miss that train trying to find the right platform. Crowds can make buying a ticket a little stressful. We had a quick wander around the hotel, but local bars weren't for us, the hotel bar/restaurant was great, found ourselves going for a quick drink and sometimes a snack everyday,

Right across the street from the train station and 600 ft walk from the bus station/stop. Bus from airport. Train to Venice island and trains on to Florence or wherever. Great full breakfast. Lots of choices. Fruit was canned, though. 6:30am start, which helps with early starters and also spreads out the rush. Smart.

Small room with bed kind of around a corner, so not able to view tv from head of bed. I was solo one night, wife in next day and we split to Florence. AC was turned down all the way and I worried that wouldn't cut it as it was a very hot day. Sopping wet when I returned from Venice touring. Turned out okay for sleeping. Don't come in August if you can avoid it.

We stayed at Hotel Plaza as a family of two adults and one child, and we were very satisfied with our experience. Location of this modern and bright hotel opposite the rail station made visiting Venice easy and convinient. The two lifts to the 8 floors made quick access to your room. The double bed room was large and bright with very good air con for those hot evenings. The bathroom had a over bath shower and again was large and made for a comfortable experience. The breakfast was well managed with plenty of staff for this busy hotel.

The cafe and restaurant attached to the hotel eas badly staffed and the queues for service was annoyingly long. Not enough staff.

The breakfast was nice and the room's size was great. No noise in the night even near to the railway station. Pretty convenient to move in and out from venice island by railway. They offer a luggage keeping option for free pretty convenient to take the most of your time (and they offer an early check in on the entrance day free of cost as the room was already prepared).

The air conditioning was running on the winter mode which means no cooling while the room was at 26°C at night. We told to the reception and the only option they gave us was to open the window (unconfortable anyways due noise, light, mosquitos, etc). The bath was oldstyled but still ok (a bit too high to go in and out).

Loved location, across from train station. Paula at front desk was excellent, breakfast was superb, also gentleman at front desk helped us. Big room with big bathroom with all amenities. TV channels excellent with quite a few English language news stations. Bedding textiles excellent.

Carpet in 8th floor hall and room dated, did not have ac turned on - unavailable. The weather was cool but room very warm and stuffy on entering and only solution to open windows. Not screened so bugs started to come in so had to close. We did not see any coffee or tea available in room so bought coffee from their restaurant. Just prior to our checkout we checked all cabinets for our possessions and found an electric hot water pot and coffee, tea and cups sitting inside one cabinet. The previous reviews by others caused concern and some apprehension. It seems this old building like any other regional building is challenging to maintain. But on a final note. It was a great stay for us.

The room was the perfect size for a family of four, with two large double beds and ample space for luggage and movement. The bathroom was also spacious, featuring a generously sized shower and a separate toilet/bidet area. The lighting in both the bedroom and bathroom was well thought out. The minibar fridge was very quiet, much like the air conditioning. The entrance area was inviting, with seating and beautiful designer lamps and furniture, possibly original pieces from the 70s. Although we didn’t opt for the hotel breakfast, we had a light breakfast at the cafe connected to the hotel. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel entrance is directly across from the train station, making it incredibly easy to hop on a train to Venice. While the hotel doesn't have its own parking, they offer discounts for parking at a lot just behind the hotel.

The cushion was too low and firm for my preference. The room has double glazed windows but you can still hear a little bit the noise from people in the street

Very comfortable bed. We were at the end of a lengthy trip (Indiana to Charlotte to London to Venice) of about 30 hours, so we were zombies when we got to the hotel, so that bed was important. We ate breakfast in the hotel (standard European cold meat and cheese, etc. which was okay.

The shower head was fixed height. I'm 6'-2", and it hit me in mid-chest. It had a rain head, but that's just not the same for me. I was surprised they didn't use the slide bar to adjust the wall shower head height. It made shampooing difficult.

The broucher at the front desk about day-trip or event booking is not very helpful. When I saw that booking a night concert marked as "contact the front desk", and I asked the front desk. It seems that the front desk doesn't have much clue, either, and asked me to call the church to find out if they have any on the schedule, and contact the church to buy the ticket.
