A few things : 1) Breakfast = top notch! It's an all you can eat buffet with eggs (scrambled _and_ hardboiled), 3 kinds of croissants with filling, good cheese, 3 different kinds of charcuterie (deli meat)... There's also tea, 3 kinds of juice + a coffee machine that serves various kinds of coffee and chocolate 2) Location - not far from centre of Mestre, but also an easy trip to actual Venice - bus nr 2 stops nearby and goes all the way 3) The size of the room & bathroom - way more space than necessary for 2 people, walk-in shower (no steps), 2 sinks... and a TV for some reason 4) The main TV - channels in most European tongues, many German ones 5) Last but not least - AC is just perfect, you can make the room freezing cold

The only thing is the bed - it's a boxspring mattress, so it wasn't really the MOST comfortable, especially for people who are slightly older or have back issues. However, a healthy younger person should find it perfectly fine and functional, so don't worry.

We stayed at LH Sirio Hotel in Mestre for 3 nights during our trip to Venice. The location is convenient — there’s a bus stop nearby, and it takes about 15–20 minutes to get to the historic center. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, providing useful information about transportation and the city. The room was clean and modern, with daily housekeeping. Breakfast was good, with a variety of pastries, eggs, cold cuts, cheese, and fruit — enough to start the day well. Wi-Fi worked fine for basic needs like checking routes and messaging. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want to stay near Venice without paying high prices. Great value for the money.

Hotel position close to the city center, courtesy of the staff, cleanliness. Also, the room space and the free parking. Good breakfast as well, with a good variety of options.

The room temperature, it was so hot I had to sleep with the window opened in November, which is quite unacceptable. Also, even after sharing the problem to the staff nothing has been done.

The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The room was perfectly clean, with all facilities included (we also had a surprise from the staff and we received an upgraded room, more spacious). The bed was very comfortable, hot water and great heating in the room (you can set your temperature on the thermostat). The breakfast is good, the croissants, tarts and cakes are excellent. The hotel is located in Mestre, a city near Venice, but in front of the hotel is a bus station and the Bus no 2 takes you to Venice in 15 minutes. Also, the train station is 5 minutes away by bus or you can have a nice walk. The price is really good for what the hotel offers, definitely reccomend!

The hotel was amazing it was big, spacious and clean. Our room was very nice it was a bit small but it was okay,the bed was extremely comfortable.

There was nothing really bad except for the shower the shower was extremely small and it did not have a door so all of the water would spill out!! Which was so annoying. However, the cleaning ladies gave us new towels every day, which made the situation manageable.

Great room with full amenities. Electric window blinders, so it makes the room dark and have better sleep. Small fridge, safe- 4**** equipment provided accordingly. Comfortable bed, warm room( able to set up temp), large bathroom with full accessories. Breakfast was good. Received complementary drink for lack of agreed wine in the room on arrival, limited to wine/prosecco, which was nice anyway.

Limited TV programs. No music channel. Agreed to have wine in the room on arrival for a B.Day surprise, but had to go back to reception to remind about it, as receptionist seems to be haotic on check in which took over 20min in queue, before being served, however they did good in the end- received wine in ice bucket to the room. But if you agree something before arrival, double check that while check in.

-great location from where you have a direct bus to the centre of Venice (appreciate the option of buying a bus ticket on the reception) -helpful staff -comfy and warm rooms

-the breakfast was good however in the morning many things were missing on the buffet like bacon, veggies etc. -we thought this is all they have when we came in the morning however they bring many things just after we almost finished our breakfast

There was no option to go down in the lift.

- good parking lot with 3 good EV chargers (Tesla Destination Charger) - we had a spacious double room with a lot of additional stuff - the bed is comfy - there are a lot of options to choose for breakfast

- very bad coffee for breakfast - dogs are not allowed at the breakfast
