The hotel had an excellent location, very close to both Milan's central station and the LIMA metro stop, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff was extremely polite, always smiling, and truly helpful, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast could have been a bit richer, but it was still tasty, and the dining area was very beautiful. The room was warm despite the cold weather outside, and the water in the bathroom was always hot, which we really appreciated. Overall, our experience was very pleasant, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely recommend it to our friends or stay there again!

The location was really good; about a 7 minute, flat walk from the train station. Also about 2-3 blocks from the metro station to all the tourist sites. Comfortable beds, hot water for showers, good size towels. They also had luggage storage for before the room was ready and after we checked out. Would definitely stay here again!

The shower was smaller than I would have liked (maybe 20 x 20 inches) but the water was hot so not too bad. Only 1 pillow on the beds; I like more, but didn't ask for additional so not a huge deal.

Friendly staff, gave us hot water to make tea. Room was clean, clean towels each day. Good base for 2 day stay, near Metro so easy access to centre of Milan.

My sister thought the bed was too hard, but I found it comfortable as I like a firmer mattress.

Room a little small, just ok for a night. Same for the bathroom, which also needed a few basic fittings.

It was spotless, the room was really clean.

The only thing that was missing was bigger waste bin, and Towel racks in the bathroom.

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, and the room was clean and bigger than expected. Lovely staff, and a delicious breakfast! Very close to the central station. The room had everything you could need - from a shower, an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, a blow dryer, towels, wifi, bidet, a tv, and even a balcony. I also liked the interior of the hotel; the hallway, specifically, haha.

The bathroom was a little small; when I opened the door all the way it crashed into the bidet. But that was not a problem, really. Just something I noticed.

Hotel's location is really convenient - close to the Central station, and to metro, bus and tramway stations. If you like walking you could go to Duomo square in about 40 mins. The beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean and big enough, and the garden, where you can have a breakfast, is really nice. There are also many typical italian restaurants near there where you can have great lunch/dinner.

The only disadvantage is that if you go back to the hotel late at night you should wait for the receptionist to open the hotel door.

Hotel Salerno is a very simple hotel but the staff is so kind and friendly. We were only there for one night on our way home but they were so helpful in trying to book us a dinner reservation and gave us free macchiatos in the morning. It’s very easy access from the train station and close to other public transportation. I would definitely stay there again

The mattresses could have been better but it’s a relatively inexpensive hotel so I wasn’t expecting a very fancy mattress.
