Location was very convenient. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to get rooms ready when we arrived early. Also very helpful whenever we needed taxis. One room for our group was fairly small but the second was quite spacious and both were spotless with excellent amenities.

The one unpleasant surprise was that the hotel entrance was not on the ground floor, and there was no elevator. Getting in requires going up two flights of stairs. A person traveling alone with heavy baggage or someone with limited mobility would have been in a very difficult situation. That should be made explicit and clear on the booking.com website so people do not choose a property that is inaccessible to them.

The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods on offer. The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt at home. Il Tesoro is more of a boutique hotel and is decorated with many excellent Art works of a significant quality, hence the term Sm”ART” Suite in its name. Our room was very quiet. It was a great base to visit the many cultural attractions of Naples including Pompeii.

Being in the centre of the old city was a big plus, but access to the hotel is via steps to its first floor entrance, there is no lift. No view from our window but we were out all day so this didn’t bother us.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Good shower, nice toiletries and plenty of towels. The breakfast was lovely, with a good choice and always being replenished. We made use of the communal area to meet up for a drink before heading out. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The entrance is a bit uninviting as there is building work and scaffolding and it was quite tricky to find when we first arrived

The room was very spacious, well-furnished and with a very comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious with fruit, eggs, cheese, bread, cereals, coffee and lots of sweet options. The hotel is modern and chic, with original artworks on the walls. Overall, this is an oasis of calm and cleanliness in the chaotic and decadent centre of Naples.

The street entrance is a bit off-putting and there is no lift. The staff made a lot of noise chatting opposite our door at 7 am!

The room was very clean and the location was amazing! Marcella was amazing - she provided us with the list of recommendations of what to visit, what to see and where to eat. She recommended us some tours to do as well - and the tour was wonderful! The entire staff members were very friendly and helpful making sure that we enjoy our stay. Even though the reception closes at 4 pm, we could always reach out to staff over WhatsApp for any questions. We enjoyed our stay and the perfect location of this hotel helped us explore Naples more!

The street was a wide, commercial street - spacious and orderly in contrast with the narrow and chaotic streets common in the historic district, but the hotel was located between two of the main east-west historic streets so it was a great location from which to explore the old city. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is several flights of steps up from the street. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom.

The design of our room felt industrial, it was too white and was aesthetically cold. The neighborhood between the train station and the hotel may be intimidating to solo or female pedestrians. I’d suggest using Corso Umberto I if walking to or from the train station.

The staff was responsive to our questions prior to arrival. Overall we had a good experience with a clean room and welcoming staff when we checked in. They were also helpful in recommending dining options and procuring a taxi to the airport. The location was convenient for walking around the older part of Naples, near tasty gelato, and restaurants. The breakfast offerings were fine, with a good variety of fruit, pastry, and more. Various coffee drinks were also on offer.

Our room was a very tight fit with little space on one side of the bed and a very compact bathroom. It was a bit noisy because our door opened onto the common area where breakfast is served.

The location was excellent, 10 to 15 minute walk from lots of attractions, cleanliness of the room and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was adequate to get your day going. Being able to store your luggage after checking out was very helpful. The rooms 1 to 5 are very close to the breakfast area we were number 4 and the kitchen plus laundry were directly opposite our room. The noise level increases approximately 6.30am preparing for breakfast. Be conscious of this. The building is being renovated outside and inside, lots of scaffolding so finding it was a little difficult, no proper signage. The reception is up 3 flights of stairs, no lifts ,something to be aware of also. Overall a nice place we would go back.

We liked the location, the friendliness of staff, and most of the facilities. Staff were always helpful and nice, the location is perfect for the historical centre. Breakfast is ok, Wi-Fi is very good, and the bath tab is good to use after a long day out

The noise from neighbours and planes, but do not think staff can do anything about this. Apparently Naples airport is in the city, so impossible to change. The bed could be a bit more comfortable

The location of the hotel is good, though please keep in mind, that there is no lift and you have to climb the stairs with your suitcases. There is a nice pizza place on the same side of the street, not far. There is water and some other things in the minibar, that are included in the price of the room.

The name of the hotel is Il Tesoro Smart Suite & SPA, but we were not offered any SPA facilities at all. The bathroom in the room is quite simple as the room itself.
