Staff is very kind and easy to talk to and do their job quite well and are very likeable , the hotel it self i a bit older but has that old south Italian vibe to it , location is superb near Piazza Plebisito (i guess i misspelled that ), and right on Via Toledo, some good restaurants nearby. Beds are comfy and the room was already air conditioned when i arrived.

Not much, maybe i could say that the area is not my cup of tea, whiel it is beautiful and has some cool spots , like the mural of Maradona , for me personally it felt a little bit to hood like (not saying its unsafe , quite the opposite its super safe in my opinion ) but it has a loot of teenagers on scooters. Breakfeast could be a little more richer, only ham , cheese, hard boiled eggs and toast bread but the coffee is quite nice!

Hotel Toledo may be a bit old-fashioned, but everything worked — and the character of the place really grew on me. It's in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Naples on foot, and the rooftop terrace (with turtles!) was an unexpected delight. What really stood out, though, was the staff. The front desk team was helpful and kind, especially the night staffer who went out of his way to assist. And the young man who prepared coffee and set up breakfast each morning did a wonderful job — friendly and efficient, a great start to the day. It’s not fancy, but it’s welcoming, well-situated, and full of charm. I left with a smile and would happily stay again.

There is a kettle in the room, but no coffee cups. Or coffee to start the day before breakfast starts (at 8:00 am)

I have used the Toledo for many years. It is wonderfully eccentric - the exact opposite of the impersonal international hotels that are almost the same everywhere. It's in the middle of the narrow lanes of the Quartieri Spagnoli, and you are straight into the real Neapolitan atmosphere as soon as you leave the front door. The staff are really friendly and hospitable, and the interior is really comfortable. The terrace on the roof is a fantastic place to have your breakfast or get away from the chaos of the Naples street later in the day - and you can occasionally get a glimpse of the two resident tortoises.

Getting to breakfast late, the meats and cheeses for the continental breakfast became a bit sparse this time.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Toledo! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit — always ready with a smile and great advice. The location couldn’t be better, right in the charming Spanish Quarter and just steps away from the metro station, which made getting around Naples so easy. Highly recommend!

The facilities were disappointing and the room was poorly maintained. The hotel is in need of a serious refresh, though it has great potential.

Over all good value for money. Facilities are what you can expect for the price.

The hotel charges for keeping bags (5 EUR per piece) on the departure day. This feels a bit greedy.

A great location. Very lively, with many good options for eating and entertainment. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. A good breakfast on the roof terrace.

The wifi service in our room was not very reliable.

Very nice roof terrace where we had breakfast, which was ok (Italian style). Good location 2 minutes from bars and restaurants, 5 mins from Metro. Friendly staff (e.g. Pino) who helped us with advice on tour to Sorrento.

It is a bit old and there is noise from people in the alley (no cars). But we didn’t mind.

Conveniently situated within walking distance of the areas I wanted to explore

Nothing really. The only negative point I will mention is that the hotel is very near to one or two bars that are very noisy that doesn’t stop until two or three in the morning. Although it didn’t disturb me too much some guests might not like it.

Location is excellent, if you are into shopping, restaurants and easy subway access.

There are several spritz bars nearby where the patrons drink and shout late into the night. So if you are a light sleeper, prepare with ear plugs.

Super friendly staff, amazing location lots of bars , restaurants, shops, very comfy bed. Has everything that you need with old Italian Charme furniture.

If you aren't a night owl or are can only sleep in silence than this location is not for you. The Spanish quarters are full of bars and restaurants.
