The location is very convenient as accurately shown in the hotel description. The breakfast is really good. I like their scrambled eggs the best! It was a very good start for hiking or trekking. The hotel staff are all super friendly and helpful. You may want to bring swimming suits as they share a swimming pool with another hotel across the street, and they actually have hot spring and sauna. These facilities are not very clearly highlighted here, but you may not want to miss them during your summer days. I wasn't aware that hotels in this area indeed have swimming pools 😲 As for room, it's quite spacious. We faced the river, and listening to the river actually made me sleep better. 😄

Location was very convenient to main town center and cable car to Alpe di Siusi. Hotel is historic and well kept. Reception and staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was neat and clean and had a pretty view of the mountainside. Breakfast was well presented and delicious with several fresh bakery selections.

Room was very comfortable but no curtains on main window so we had early wake up for summer time. Bed was also quite firm. Parking needed directions to locate/find but it was close to hotel and not so expensive.

Room and bathroom was updated and extremely clean! Excellent location right in the city center. Do note that the parking is a bit of a walk so make sure you unload your luggage in front of the hotel then park your car. Parking was very affordable. Windows of the rooms open up to restaurant downstairs and the noise does travel upwards, so if you are a light sleeper might not be ideal. Bathroom has all amenities so no need to bring your own

This hotel is a real find. It is in the most central location of Ortisei adjacent to shopping, restaurants and transportation. The ski bus and all transportation is just outside. It is a family run Hotel, the building itself is 350 years old and is really classically beautiful. The building is completely soundproof and I got some of the best sleep I've ever had there! If you want a true Alpine themed hotel with fantastic, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent management, this is the place! Peter, at the hotel manager is one of the nicest and friendliest persons we have ever met. He really made our stay so enjoyable! And his staff are very hard-working, friendly and professional. The hotel is impeccably clean and well appointed. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. There is a wonderful breakfast served every morning with so many choices. Can't say enough good things about this lovely Hotel. We look forward to returning to Ortisei and the Garni Snartnerhof!

The location is central and convenient to all bus routes. Nice, welcoming staff were helpful and friendly. Great access to the transportation system and to the nearby swimming pool.

Mostly positive, but a bit pricey. Hot water in the room was spotty. Sometimes too 15 minutes to heat up. Pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was good, but fruits and vegetables were usually unripe. Maybe consider a different supplier.

Beautifully decorated hotel in true Alpine style and nicely located right in the centre of Ortisei. Peter and his staff are very helpful and friendly. Free use of swimming pool and local buses on offer. They also have their own restaurant which has a great selection of delicious food. Special mention to Jonas in the restaurant who took great care of us on both occasions when we ate there and who gave us lovely complimentary desserts each time !

We were given quick instructions on how to get to the parking the hotel provides, but we’re confused and ended up paying $95 to park for 3 days. Ugg. Make sure you have a very clear understanding of where the parking is to avoid that unpleasant experience.

We stayed for 5 nights during the last week of September and our first time in the Dolomites. It was centrally located in town and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. It was in a great location where everything is close by. We walked everywhere which was great especially after a long hike in the Val Gardena mountains. We ate dinner in restaurants close by. At check in, the reception gave us a transportation pass that was good for public transportation which we used a lot to get around Val Gardena so we just left our car in the parking lot. We knew ahead of time that we had to pay for parking and the garage is just next to the hotel. The staff were awesome and very friendly. The breakfast was very filling and they offered a variety of food and drinks. I typically don’t eat pastries and the croissants were delicious. The servers at breakfast were the best and they serve coffee/cappuccino fresh. We used the jacuzzi everyday after our hike and it was a plus especially since it had beautiful Mountain View and the cable cars going up to Alpe di Suisi. We had a standard room with a good view of the city center. It was surprisingly quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

This was an excellent experience! I had a great room with a very comfortable bed, the hotel offers a delicious breakfast, and it's location is perfect. Easy to get to the two main gondola trips, walking around town is a pleasure, it was all in all a fantastic stay. The staff, in particular the Breakfast staff, was extremely pleasant. Highly recommend!

Peter and Jesus were fantastic hosts! They made us feel "at home" and we will always remember the both of you! Fantastic coffee every morning made by Jesus with latte art as well :) Breakfast selection was great! The hotel has a warm mountain cottage feel and the Samsung smart TV was fantastic to have when relaxing after a day of exploring the mountains around Ortisei. The rooms are large and clean. It was also fantastic to get a free pass to enjoy Mar Dolomiti Swim and Spa just a stroll away. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi on the Hotel's deck. The hotel was also centrally located and you can just walk to the Seceda & Mont Seuc cable cars. Noise from the adjacent road was also non apparent because you can simply shut the double glazed windows. I loved the sound of the river and actually left the window open (yes it was 0 Degrees C outside) every night :) Thank you for recommending the free parking lot just next to the hotel (where the roundabout is)! It was free for us when we visited in November (very low season). I would not hesitate to stay here again when I return to Ortisei!

The water temperature of the shower fluctuates between hot and cold so you'll need to constantly adjust it.
