I give the Planlim Boutique Hotel 5 Stars. It has everything a boutique hotel has to offer and even more. It is a small intimate run family business which focuses in on customer service from the minute you check-in to the minute you check-out. I had rented an electric car from Milano to drive to the Planlim and at 2 am in the morning 7.5km away it ran out of power on the mountain. We emailed the hotel and they were there every step of the way, calling us, helping and advising us what to do until we checked in at 9:00am that morning. They even drove us to the towing company in town to pick up the car later that afternoon. Along with their spacious clean rooms, huge bathroom and excellent breakfast I could not have been more impressed with the Planlim. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there. You won’t be disappointed, I assure you.

Wonderful hotel, newly built, extremely clean and with professional friendly staff. Cleaning was being done every day in the room, the breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The hotel is situated on a calm street, with no traffic or other noises. The ski lift to Seceda is 10-15 min away on foot and 10 min away from the center of the town, but here is a wonderful restaurant 5 mins away ( Snetonstube ). I really recommend the wine tasting evening on Wednesday where a small group of people can taste several wines, eat something light and socialize.

I’ve been to Switzerland and stayed in a similar little town with stunning views like this, but this hotel in Ortisei truly exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect, nestled amidst breathtaking mountain scenery that offers panoramic views from every angle. The hotel is very modern, with spacious rooms that are elegantly furnished with timeless, wooden decor that combines comfort with a touch of traditional Alpine charm. We absolutely loved the top-notch spa facilities, which provided the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making our stay even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, giving us excellent tourism advice and helping to customize our daily itinerary. The on-site restaurant serves delicious local cuisine, and the breakfast buffet features a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. Overall, this hotel in Ortisei offers an exceptional experience that stands out even among the finest accommodations in the Swiss Alps.

The hotel was modern and clean and the location was perfect, about 5 minutes from Ortisei town centre. When we arrived, we went straight out into the garden and couldn't believe how absolutely stunning the scenery was. It was breathtaking. The hotel staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. It was my birthday while we were there and they surprised me at breakfast with a small birthday cake. The cable cars, trams, and walking/biking trails were nearby too. We loved it ❤️

Breakfast was lovely, everything you needed was there in a nice breakfast room. The hotel looked brand new, with lovely finishings and natural wood. The room was spacious, linens and bed comfortable. Staff were very friendly helping with drop offs at the lifts and making dinner recommendations. We enjoyed the rooftop spa of an evening and the relaxation zone. Short walk into the center of town.

Nothing - wish our stay could have been longer

We stayed here for 3 nights in Jun’24. The location is majestic, overlooking the hills. The rooms are fabulous, extremely well maintained and of high quality and large with top most interior standards - there is a balcony overlooking the mountains which makes it all the more special. The service is exceptional, Linda and her team are extremely helpful, always have a smile on the face. Breakfast is amazing too. While this Hotel is characterised as 3 star, it’s CERTAINLY A 5 STAR HOTEL. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again.

The balcony was a good size and had mountain views. The spa facilities were brilliant. The bed was very comfortable, and a sitting bench was included. There were also tea and coffee facilities. The garage was easy to park and very secured.

The staff at breakfast were smart and polite yet when you entered the breakfast room there was no one to show you where to sit. Only coffee is served by the staff. English tea with milk is self-service. No one asks you if you would like a scrambled egg or omelette. You have to ask yourself.

Must be one of the best locations in Ortiseit, which itself is the best location in Val Gardena. Amazing views from the room (105) facing both south and the lift up to Seiser Alm and west towards beautiful sunsets each night. Incredibly friendly staff who were so nice to our little baby boy, great spacious parking garage, breakfast with everything you need. The sauna and rooftop terrace offers unrivaled views.

The room was supposed to have an AC, which was a requirement for us when searching hotels. It only had a fan though. This was ok because the temperature at night was not too hot, but this was the first week in September and in the middle of the summer it could have been a problem.

Absolutely everything! The location is amazing (though you’d have to drive/walk/take the bus to the town). The staff are incredible, very generous, friendly, with an excellent customer service. The room was incredible (they upgraded us to a room with mountain view!). The hotel & room was spotless clean! The breakfast had a great variety & they were very accommodating. The amenities were great, with a really nice wellness spa. I would definitely recommend this hotel & will hopefully be coming back to this great town & amazing hotel! P.S. this should definitely be rated as a 4 or 5 star hotel!

Nothing.

It is very rare (or maybe it is even the first time) when I give top rating. It is not cheap for a 3-star hotel, even with a “supreme” sign. But it was worth it. Starting from helpful, responsive and simply nice stuff, boutique vibe, good location, underground garage with wide parking spaces (also for electric cars), modern rooms, tasty breakfast (even if selection was not varied, quality of what was served was high) ending with sky-spa etc.

Breakfast could be more varied but this is just me being picky. I would still prefer to have less to choose but have a good quality as it was here. Also it was not cheap but as mentioned earlier - worth it. So in total nothing to complain to be honest.
