We booked the 2 bedroom penthouse apartment with terrace in the new building and it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself is brand new, modern, beautiful, and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The view from the terrace and living room is AMAZING! You can sit outside and enjoy the views of the town, mountains, and cable cars. There was even a hot tub on the deck that wasn’t noted in the listing. Great location in the center of town. Parking on site for a small fee. Elevator. Staff was kind and helpful. The slightly higher rate for such a luxury accommodation was well worth it and really made the trip!

Video directions on how to reach the property and drive through the pedestrian zone was sent only a few hours before check in and not 24 hrs in advance as discussed. We were driving from Milan and being from the US we did not have great cell service in the area and barely were able to download it on time!

The apartment was in the heart of Ortisei on the main street. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us lots of information aswell as the Val gardena pass so we got to use the bus and local pool for free. Conveniently located across from 'de spar' supermarket and close to the bus stop. Nice mountain views from the balcony at the front whilst also maintaining privacy with plants. The apartment was large and spacious, modern and beds were very comfy. Had everything you need microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, electric hob, dishwasher. Hair dryer and towels included. Outside seating area just off the main street.

The temperature control in the room wasn't ideal as the weather was very hot and no air conditioning. Not enough toilet roll included for a week's stay.

The location was perfect. Really central location. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived we were given free passes to the local pool (which included different pools, whirl pool, slide and steam room) we were also provided with a free weekly bus pass for the area) the room was comfortable and clean. The shower was great.

Aquila is in a great location right in the center of Ortesei. About a 5min walk to the Seceda and the Alpe di Suisi cable cars which was very convenient. Supermarket right across the street. The manager was very kind and quick to respond. The sauna was so lovely to use after a day of hiking. We also received a guest pass that gives you free access to the public pool and public buses which was really nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Not that it’s the properties fault but there is construction going on nearby but it didn’t bother us that much. Otherwise everything was lovely

Experience slightly dampened by the fact that they only provided 2x pods for the nespresso machine for the entire 7 day stay - which i just found a bit strange given the otherwise 'luxury' feel of the place and area. I asked for re-fills (as every hotel i have been to so far re-fills 2x coffee pods a day) and was instructed to buy coffee pods myself at the shop which was nearby. Issue is i didn't want to be carrying around coffee pods for the rest of my italy trip as i couldn't find a small pack so just went without. For something so in-expensive and easy for the hotel staff to accommodate and given the price of the hotel think it would really elevate the guest experience to not have to worry about re-stocking such a small thing off their own dime.

The location and the views are just amazing!!! Very concerning walking to 2 cable cars and all the restaurants and shops. We had a family suite in the older building and it was great size and there was a large balcony. The bonus was access to the public pool with nice facilities and kids loved the whirpool outside and a slide. Overall we loved staying here and would love to be back.

We had some issues finding the garage with the address provided and driving on a pedestrian street but once we found it, it was all good. 39 euros is for parking in the garage per stay. There were only small cups in the kitchen, no bigger tea cups which would be nice to have for longer stay. No laundry on site, only laundry service provided is pricey.

Comfy beds & pillows & the 'mini' kitchen facilities were very handy. Despite no kitchen sink coffee maker was brilliant as were the wine glasses , plates & cutlery for snacks/ breakfast. Super clean & modern & easy to adapt to. Excellent location .. basit in Main Street of Ortisei. - ten steps to closest restaurant & a few more to many others.

Perhaps a bench to put bag/ suitcase on would be helpful somewhere in the room. Otherwise - perfect. !

Fantastic place to stay, comfortable, clean and closed to everything. They also borrow you hiking poles, since the hotel is affiliated to the tourism/government you get a free bus pass so this is also a huge plus. The place I stay it’s part of the remodel piece of the hotel so it was fantastic.

I truly wish my room had a kitchen or kitchenette because it’s easier that way and also there’s literally no space to eat.

The room is spacious and clean with new adequate facilities. Very comfortable stay. The private sauna is a highlight especially after a whole day trekking. Location can’t be better with a supermarket across the street and many restos and shops around.

Note that there will be no cleaning and change of towels stuff like that during your stay. Keep the room tidy and clean for your better experience. Afternoon can be little warm during summer.

First of all, this property is on the best main street in old town Ortisei. There are postcard views in every direction! The street is a popular tourist thoroughfare, but there are very few cars. The town sits within a half hour drive of many stunning Dolomites peaks. And just a few minutes walk is the cable car to the famous Seceda cliffs and peaks. A grocery store is directly across the small street. There are also some quiet outdoor spaces with lawn furniture that guests can use and enjoy. We reserved 2 two-bedroom apartments for our group of 8. Our rooms were in the older building next to the newer one—note that you mostly see the new building in the booking.com photo, while the older building is immediately to the left. The rooms are dated, decor-wise, but were and clean, and had small, modern kitchens with a refrigerator, a dishwasher and induction stovetop, but not oven. Both rooms had expansive balconies with beautiful flower boxes and patio tables and chairs. Overall, we loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone. I found it to be one of the most affordable places in Ortisei—especially for a large group and for those who want to cook for themselves.

My chief complaint is the beds are not comfortable. Our “double” bed was so firm, it felt like cardboard and I tossed and turned. In warm weather, it would be nice to have fans in the rooms. We opened windows at night for ventilation and then heard a good amount of street noise—not really traffic, but people talking loudly.
