We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Classic am Stetteneck in Ortisei. From the start, the communication with the staff was excellent—they were always kind, attentive, and ready to assist. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Ortisei and close to the Seceda and Alpe di Siusi cable cars, making it perfect for skiing and exploring the Dolomites. The breakfast was another highlight—delicious, varied, and a great way to start a day . Every detail of my stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and charm of Ortisei.

Fabulous location near the tourist info office and restaurants. Lovely character hotel. Very convenient place to stay without a car. Large bathroom and excellent shower and water pressure.

Breakfast was very basic for the price. We don’t generally enjoy sweets for breakfast and there were little savoury options, particularly if you don’t eat meat. Expensive hotel but then I think everything in Ortesei probably is. The room was strangely stuffy as though heaters were on.

Everyone was kind and helpful. It’s centrally located in Ortisei and near the Alpe di Siusi funicular. The room was spacious and had a wonderful balcony. We were on the fourth floor and it was very quiet. The breakfast and dinner facilities were great and the staff were very friendly.

The temperature was a bit cool in the room, and there wasn’t a thermostat. We were told that the temperature was controlled centrally. It got a little warmer later on when the temperature was turned up.

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The room was cute with that classic cabin feel but yet we stilled felt pampered. Extremely clean. The breakfast was good with loads of options. We also chose to eat dinner a few nights at the hotel which included a four course meal which was cooked to perfection. We also loved how the hotel offered free guided hiking trips a couple times a week. (This made our trip) The guide Warner was great and very knowledgeable showing us many local secrets. Every staff member was very attentive to the guests, their uniforms added to the whole experience as well. It was very useful to have access to a pool, sauna and spa if needed after hiking all day. The location was great in the center of Ortisei with short walking distances to the gondolas. Overall, we were very happy and fell in love with the Stetteneck.

My husband and I couldn’t think of one bad note for this hotel. It was phenomenal, we will be back.

Bath was too small not comfortable. In the room would be good to have coffeee machine or tea making facilities and netflix option on the tv

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Friendly helpful staff, fantastic restaurant for dinner and breakfast, pool/sauna/steam facilities. They even provide a professional guide 3 days a week for walks at various levels. We had a very happy 5 days there and would love to come again. In fact all our experiences in Val Gardena were positive.

Not a thing

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The location was great, the room was big enough for us and our dog, and the view from the terrace was beautiful. I requested a room with a bathtub, and they exceeded my expectations and gave me a nice, comfortable room to stay in. And the staff is very friendly.

Unfortunately, we were unable to do a late check out as the next day was fully booked. With a check-out time of 10am, we didn't have the opportunity to stay a little longer in a lovely hotel.

There was a warm welcome at the reception and we got upgraded,, everything was excellent and extraordinary ,, the place is heart melting.. Ieverything was more than perfect from service, location , staff and cleaning ,, it is really worth every penny.. we departed with a jar of honey, hospitality from the amazing hotel

Check out not in order! I was waiting for 20 mins! first 15 mins the receptionist lady talked on the phone. This was not nice but not that bad. When she finished phone call, Another guest who just come and me stand in front of two side of reception table. I’m very sure she has seen me come first because that guest just came and I was in front of her for her 15 mins phone call. However, she serve that guest first, I was like ????? why not in order??? This is not even need a professional training just common sense! By the way, she is not rude, always with smile but I just don’t understand the way of serving in random order.

Could have done with something when we got back from skiing in the afternoon especially since the rooms had no tea or coffee making facilities. The other hotel in the group offered an afternoon tea and it felt like we were not looked after in that respect.
