We are on a road trip in Europe, staying at lots of places. Casa Camilla has been easily the best place on the whole trip. Filippo and family are fantastic hosts, taking lots of time to provide us with local information about Padova. How to get the bus, the trains etc. The apartment and the area was fantastic. Friendly pizzerias and gelato places right around the corner despite being out of town in a residential area. Breakfast in the garden with homemade cakes and local meats and cheeses. Amazing! Easy to get in to Padova on the bus and Venice from the train station. After experiencing the crowds of Venice it felt like we had the wonderful Padova to ourselves. Hugely recommended.

He greeted us from the train station and drove us back to the house, making for a much more comfortable arrival. He had prepared a guide of Padua and explained where we could go and explore around the city, as well as restaurant recommendations. The house itself is comfortable and away from the city centre, making it quiet. He also offered us the use of his bicycles that allowed us to better explore the city without having to walk too much, or worry about public transport. I wish we could’ve spent more time in the garden enjoying the atmosphere. The breakfast was good, with juice, coffee, breads, meat, cheese and eggs all on offer. Filippo’s mum drove us back to the train station after we checked out and were ready to leave.

Honestly the stay was perfect. Only if you want the city centre to be right outside the front door, then this might not be the place for you.

This is truly a gem of a B&B. Filippo, whose family runs this B&B, couldn't be more accommodating. He picked us up from the airport, and had a city map waiting for us with bus routes outlined and highlights of places to see. Every morning he checked to be sure we knew where we were going and had lots of suggestions. Breakfast highlights were the varied cakes baked by Filippo's mother. It was a little outside the city - easy to reach by a 25 minute walk or bus. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Bathrooms were excellent. I've stayed at many B&B's and this is one of the best.

Nothing really.

Stay was great from the start. Filippo kept in touch, briefed us once we arrived, gave us recommendations & helped us get settled in. Breakfasts is exceptional, made by Filippo’s mom. We had many choices to eat, best of all we were given fresh squeezed orange juice, home made food & a choice of how we wanted our eggs cooked. Mom & Dad treated us kindly & his mom even took us to the train station to catch a train to Venice the next day. Filippo arranged a tour guide for Padua & Angelo communicated with us very well in English, secured us directions for sites to visit & is very friendly too. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Since the first moment we met, Filippo and his family were the nicest hosts you could imagine, doing everything to make you feel good and welcome. Appartment is clean, everything is decorated in country style but new and highly functional. 🌺 If you want, Filippo will tell you what you need to see in Padova (or near by), even give you his little personal guide! 🤍 Beds are very comfortable and breakfast is extremely tasty and plentiful! They even make their own cakes! This family is an example how host should be! I cannot recommend this B&B more! 🤍

We liked everything!

Casa Camilla is absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it felt like coming home. The people here are incredibly friendly, always ready to help or simply share a pleasant conversation, making the whole experience even more special. Filippo especially was so insanely welcoming! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting! Every little detail in the decor, the rooms, and the peaceful surroundings make it feel like home away from home! The breakfast was so amazing with many homemade goods! If you’re looking for a stay that’s not just about a place to sleep but a place where you feel genuinely cared for, Casa Camilla is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return! (Written by our 13-year old Sara, putting into words the whole family’s feelings about this place).

Nothing, it was perfect!

To be honest, everything went well - from the initial check-in to our departure. We cannot praise our host, Filippo, and his family high enough as they went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Breakfast in the garden was a delight with so many individual touches. Our apartment, which was in the annexe, some 100 metres from the main house, was comfortable and more than met our needs. Filippo took us into Padova on the first morning of our visit and equipped us with the information that we needed to discover this wonderful city. He is justifiably proud of Padova. The next day, we went to Venice and this time Filippo's mother took us to the railway station. We should add it is an easy matter to get the bus back from the city to Casa Camilla - just a short walk from the bus stop.

Cannot think of a single thing. We were genuinely sorry to leave.

Everything. Definitely rate a 10++++ We were two couples. Had the apartment with two bedrooms. Walked a minute to the main house for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Had freshly cooked eggs, cold meats and local cheese. Sweets direct from oven, made by owner's mother. Also had yogurt, juice, tea, cappuccino, espresso. DELICIOUS!!! Owner super friendly and nice. Provided us a morning lift to Paduva train station. Gave us tourist info for Paduva and Venice, where best to visit. Extremely clean. Plenty of supplies in bathroom. Great to have a washing machine and clothes rack, detergent provided. Car was parked inside locked gate. In residential area, outside ZTL. 5 minutes drive to train station and then can walk downtown from station

The location is 5 minutes off the main road yet is in a very quiet neighborhood. The accommodation is family run and it was lovely to meet the host's parents and wife, we were greeted with a coffee and a piece of homemade cake. Ample parking off road and the rooms are lovely with the walls being hand painted with pictures of birds. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable and has prepared a guide to Padua, which is 20 minutes by bus to the historic center, which is well worth visiting. There are various restaurants close by but we did not try them as we met up with family. The buffest breakfast had everything and you would certainly no go hungry. Filippo ( the host) is a delightful character with plenty of information, books and pamphlets on things to do and see in the area.

From the moment we arrived Filippo was the gracious host. We were invited into his home, which was much more than a regular B&B. From all his help with directions, the location and where to visit, Filippo went beyond any other host we have met before. Our room was exceptional with beautiful frescoes on the wall and cleaned every day. Breakfast was generous with many different homemade offerings. And to top at all, Filippo took us and his car back to town in the morning. All in all, it was beyond our expectations.
