The location of the hotel is in the heart of the city, in a very vibrant square, with many restaurants, terasses and coffee/icecream shops. We loved to have dinner and beers every evening in that piazza. Although the piazza is always full of people, the room we were given was very quiet, sparkling clean and comfortable. Throughout the hotel there were some nice paintings made by a local painter. The king size bed was very good. The host was very nice and welcoming. The Italian-style breakfast provided in the room was enough to start the day.

There is nothing negative that I can say.

The location of the townhouse is amazing, off the charts. Our host Paolo was so helpful, he made us feel welcome and stayed in communication to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable and perched right over Piazza Signori. Incredible… we could be down in it or watch from above. Right across the square is the best gelato I have ever had… gelato BEPI, it’s the place with the long line.We loved everything about our stay.

I couldn’t figure out the coffee machine. In the end it worked out because we found a delightful cafe down the piazza for our morning cappuccino.

The Dimantino Town House is brilliantly located above the main piazza. There are many piazzas in Padova and all within walking distance - everything is within walking distance. During the day the Piazza is a market, in the afternoon/evening all the tables are out and its aperitivo or dinner time. Padova is a really busy city and there is something happening in the piazza's all of the time. But back to the apartment. The balcony gives you fabulous vies of the piazza. The bathroom is well appointed. The room was comfortable. There was a small bar fridge in the room too which was useful. The foyer space has a range of brochures and maps and a printer which is very helpful.

The advertised breakfast was a let down of packaged pastries, juice and yoghurt. If I'd known, I'd have chosen the no breakfast option.

The property definitely met our expectations .It’s a lovely clean comfortable place and in an excellent location. It does include breakfast which consists of juice yogurt and breads which was fair but not great.

Very very concerned management was not there on arrival and if it hadn’t been for the kindness of the business next door we would have not been able to access the property . The manager or owner said he’d be there at the allotted time but was no where to be found. Please to the owner not everyone has a phone and ours was not working.If you are not available email your guests before hand with your code to get in don’t assume that people on arrival can contact you.It is prudent for you to be there when you say you are.

The location is incredible. Situated right above Piazza Signori, we had a Birds Eye view of all the fun. We could join in or just people watch for a while. Also the best gelato is right across the square, gelato BEPI…it’s the one with the long line. Great food EVERYWHERE and so much to see and do. Our room was lovely, well appointed, clean and cozy.

I couldn’t figure out the coffee machine, but it gave us an excuse to wander and find one of many cafes, so not really a problem.

Great location on the Piazza dei Signori with a lot of cafes close by. The room was very clean and well appointed. Our room looked out onto the piazza but noise was not a problem at all even with all the students enjoying the piazza late into the evening. The person receiving us (sorry - didn't get his name) was very friendly and helpful showing us places to see and eat. We would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Padova.

The only issue we encountered was that there is a buzzer for Il Diamente at 26 i.e. two doors to the left of the townhouse which is not the right place. Make sure you go to 28 (Diamantino Town House) which is two doors to the right. Thankfully, the bar owner/manager at the corner helped us find the right door as Google Maps becomes challenging when places are only 10 feet apart.

We loved the location, directly on one of the famous squares of the city, next to the famous clock tower. The room was excellent, very authentically furnished. The bed was comfortable, I could sleep really well, once I fell asleep. Paolo, the good soul of the house, communicated very well with us, both online and in place. We got some good information about the city from him, and he took care of parking and bringing back our car. Thank you for everything!

As we knew in advance, the evening and night noise from the square below is something you need to live with. It is a really lively area of the city, so that is a small price to pay. Or on booking, try to get a room on the other side of the hotel. Also to note, there is no elevator. Our room was on the second floor and it was quite a number of steps up there. However, Paolo was very kind helping us with our luggage, so again that was no problem. Last thing to mention, maybe, is the included breakfast - there is no breakfast room, you can make coffee and tea in your room and have a minibar with yoghourt and some pastries that get refreshed each day, to eat in your room. Once more that was no big thing to us, there are numerous breakfast establishments nearby to choose from.

Great location in the middle of the old town, clean and spaceous room! Paolo was very helpful and responsive.

Quite noisy if staying in the rooms facing Piazza dei Signori as there are coffee shops/bars right bellow and open until 2AM. And at 6AM they start to clean roads and prepare setting for the morning market on the piazza – every day of our stay! For breakfast would prefer voucher for breakfast in a nearby bar, rather than having coffee machine, long-life prepackaged cakes, pastries plus packaged yoghurt and juices in the room. The parking garage (5min walk from hotel) charged 25EUR even on the hotel page is writen that it would be 20EUR.

Great value, the location is right in the middle of everything and easy walking distance to most sites. Taxi cab was able to pull up right next to the square as well, so easy to get to and from the train station. Even though staff were not on-site at the front desk 24/7, they were very communicative over the phone so I had no problem accessing my room or getting assistance.

There is no elevator/lift (or at least I did not see one), which is common in such historical buildings and was not an issue for me, but travelers with mobility issues should be aware.

Very nice room with all facilities for comfort stay. Breakfast is in the fridge (yogurt, milk) tea/coffee with cooked and cakes on the table. Every day the room was cleaned. Nice location of the hotel. For people, who like central historical parts of the city this is the best place to stay. Good acoustic insulation.

Probably not significant, but in my case I could not mange to tune the air conditioning in order to lower temperature (when outside temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius).
