The room was clean and modern, the staff very attentive, and there is an elevator. The manager provided valuable information and insights about the city which helped make our trip spectacular.

I thought the breakfast could have had more choices and/or better-quality food. If your stay is 1-2 days then, it may not be an issue. But by the time our third day rolled around, the choices remained redundant. It seemed better pastries were available for sale and not included. The cappuccino was amazing, tho.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location couldn’t be more perfect. It was quite central and within walking distance of all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. Despite being so central, the property was incredibly quiet, which made for a very restful and relaxing stay. The building has an elevator, which was super convenient, especially with luggage. The room itself was spotless, spacious and everything was beautifully clean and well-maintained. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Eugenio, Chiara and Emilia were absolutely amazing! They were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made a big difference and truly made us feel at home. Breakfast was very good with a good variety. Highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay there again!

I can't really think of anything we didn't like. Everything was great!

An antique building just renovated and transformed in a beautiful hotel palace with very large room, impressively high ceiling (4 m or more) beautifull marble stairs or pavements... Very confortable beds , cleanness of the bathroom! The overall central position and quite environment

Unfortunately the breakfast -included in the price of the room - was not at the level one would expect in such a category! Indeed croissants and cakes, but industrial bread, lowest quality mozarella and sausage, and powder tang-like orange drink served in plastic glass... a real paradox in Sicily, where if not fresh orange spremute, at least decent orange juice should be served !

The location is on the border of the historic city so walking to places to visit and eat was very easy. The rooms are very spacious. The host was very gracious and had a lot of information for us. The location is more quiet since it’s next to a park and some other residential buildings. Don’t need to worry about tourist or night life keeping you awake. Breakaast in the bistro downstairs offered good choices. Staff at the bistro were very friendly.

Rooms are sparse in appointments. If you want coffee, shampoo, etc., you’ll need to supply that yourself. The rooms were very spacious but lack of appointments kind of gave it a warehouse feel, large rooms with not much in them.

A masterpiece – pure passion turned into perfection Wow. This place is incredibly stylish and full of character. In the hallway, you'll find photos of the original, crumbling building – and it’s almost impossible to believe it’s been transformed into this absolute gem. Only someone with true passion, dedication, and a deep understanding of taste and architecture would dare to take on such a project. The result is stunning: soaring 6-meter-high ceilings, original wooden beams beautifully exposed, and old doors creatively turned into side tables. Every detail has been carefully considered. The owner is just as remarkable – kind, helpful, and clearly devoted to making every guest feel at home. The location is fantastic too – just a few hundred meters from Palermo’s shopping district. But don’t get stuck there! Palermo has so much more to offer, so make sure you explore this fascinating city. Honestly, I didn’t want to write this review… because I’d love to keep this place a secret. We’re absolutely in love.

It's next to a busy road but it was way quieter than I thought, I had no problems sleeping (with the window closed). The staff was super nice and the receptionist told us everything about Palermo. The room was very modern with a touch of antique. The breakfast was a nice Italian style buffet breakfast, with cakes and some savoury options and good coffee. The building had a super modern big lift.

The sea view room had only a bit of sea view, when I went out to the loud balcony. But the view otherwise was quite nice, looking at a very pretty tall mountain.

Good location and bedroom was very spacious and clean. Shower good too and comfortable bed

Very noisy at night especially at weekends- a motorway between hotel and the marina. It definitely make it difficult to sleep most nights and we stayed 4 nights overall. Breakfast was very hit and miss as it was in restaurant attached but some mornings there was little food and what was there was cold and we had to ask several times for coffee and to get some food. Staff were not happy to serve us.

It is a beautiful building, modernised and well decorated inside. We had 3 rooms between family and all was good. The staff were very, very helpful - not just while we were there, but beforehand in the lead-up to our stay, they gave so much helpful advice and information via WhatsApp, as well as recommendations that helped us organise our wedding and our stay in Palermo. We also had a rental car and used the garage Parcheggi Maggio who give an excellent and very professional service conveniently just around the corner from the Boutique BnB Dolcevita. Thank you so much to all the nice staff for making our stay so comfortable and unforgettable!

Location is quite near to the main tourist zone. We used bus for half of the walking distance from the train station, and then walked 7 min to the building, so travel time was 15 min in total. Reaching main landmarks is simple by walking and the buildings are very nice everywhere along your way. If you plan day trips, the train stations is 25 min walk that is still not too much. The accommodation is very modern, looks newly renovated building. All zones are very clean (corridors, rooms, stairways, breakfast room). Modern room with comfy beds and proper AC. Breakfast is great, many options, satisfying for most travellers. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The green park around the building was conquered by homeless ppl who were pretty harmless but it disturbs the view from the balconies in some direction. Parking is a nightmare, so in case you rent a car, I would propose to book overnight stays at your destination cities/villages. Parking lots are a bit messy. Look for the ZTL signs on the streets and avoid them because without a permission you easily get a fine. Parking on street is only possible in placed marked by blue lines (might be faded very much). It is better to buy scratch tickets in nearby cigarette+newspaper shops that are valid for hour each. Parking application is recommended only if you are 100% sure about your parking zone code as it has no GPS integration.

Lovely people, good location for the old town, lovingly restored charming building, lovely fresh breakfast and great coffee. Big family room with nice views across the city and mountains, very helpful What's Ap line that was great for booking taxis etc.

Whilst the communal areas were really nice, the room itself was generically furnished and pretty basic. No safe, no tea/coffee facilities (although can use kettle in breakfast room), random light switches all over the place, internal bathroom so bit mouldy etc. Just wish the bedroom matched the rest of the building.
