If you want to explore Palermo for a few days. This is an excellent location, and hotel, to do it in. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Teatro Massimo ( one of Palermo's main attractions) and the main " happening street" of Via Maqueda. Palermo Cathedral, and its Roof-Top Walk is not that much further away, and within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel, a quiet Off-Street building has been decorated and finished in an Italian Villa style of the late 1800s. Quite stylish. Breakfast good, on open roof-top. Very pleasant and a pretty garden area one storey lower. Very peaceful yet near the City Centre. I would certainly stay here again.

The location was excellent—just 10 km from Spiaggia di Mondello—with lots of good restaurants and very close to the old town. The staff was polite and helpful, recommending some great places to visit and eat. The hotel was gorgeous, with beautiful decor, and so was our room. The garden with a fountain was a nice surprise—a perfect spot to relax and have a good conversation. It’s worth mentioning the hotel has a parking garage, which is super convenient, but you have to pay €20 per day to use it. Check-in and check-out were easy and quick.

The shower water pressure was weak, and the cabin was small. The pillow was too thin, which gave my wife neck pain. Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many warm food options since the hotel doesn’t have a kitchen. Also, the fruit selection was pretty limited.

This Hotel is situated in an excellent area of Palermo, it is close to the Markets, Restaurants and many historical sites. The Hotel itself was tucked away in a side street, very private and quiet. The facilities were very good and staff very friendly and helpful. It had a real old world charm about it and was beautifully decorated.

A beautifully decorated hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times, and assisting with directions. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Extra pillows are available. A small bar fridge with water and cooldrinks at a reasonable price. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. Breakfast is served on a terrace, with shade seating. The selection was very good with a wide variety of options, including pastries, cold meats, cheese, yogurt etc, beautifully presented. Coffee is served at your table with a smile. Thank you to the staff of the hotel for the warm welcome and wonderful stay exceeding our expectations. Location: Good, easy access to the central station and bus routes. Walkable distance to the historical center of Palermo. Next to a grocer selling adaptors for electronics, cooldrinks etc. Bigger grocery store around the corner. Area around the hotel is relatively clean.

This hotel was perfect. Location, staff, accommodation and the whole ambiance - perfect. The owners- spectacular attention to their guests. You will not be disappointed if you have the opportunity to stay here. Quiet location and everything is in walking distance. Reception is always available. The morning breakfast - you cannot ask for more ; both in selection and attention to the guests at every turn. So very accommodating. We will definitely return when our travels take us to Palermo!

Lovely stay in Palermo. Location was great, pleasant 5-10 minute walk to Teatro Massimo and other central parts of Palermo. Hotel itself was lovely, clean room and good bed. Breakfast was excellent, both the spread and the location on the terrace. Would stay here again on a future visit to Palermo.

We were in town for a wedding, and it was a little tricky if coming home late as no outside key provided, had to ring for reception and wait a while without any response, so were concerned we were locked out. All fine in the end, but might be helpful to provide a key to outside gate for guests.

The hotel staff was wonderful, during breakfast the family makes sure you have everything you need, they make great coffee and they were really nice to our daughter. The hotel director lend us a couple of beach towels to go to the beach, even for the day we checked out. There is always someone at the reception making sure it is secure in the property. The rooms have AC, which was a life-saver in the summer and we had one of the big ones as we were travelling with our daughter so had plenty of space. It is really quite in that area so you can rest without problem. Just 10 min walk to the city centre and they have a parking lot for a very fair price.

We stayed in Hotel Trinacria for 4 nights during our family trip to Palermo. This hotel is an absolute gem. Neither myself nor my family could fault it. From the amazing, kind, friendly staff to the comfortable beds, extremely high standard of cleanliness and fantastic breakfast, we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Giovanni Jnr and Giovanni Snr on the reception desk were so helpful and obliging. Georgia and Luca were a wonderful team providing the most beautiful breakfast and coffee on the outdoor terrace every morning. I celebrated my 30th birthday while staying in the hotel and Georgia so kindly greeted us with prosecco and the most amazing cake on that morning, which was such a lovely gesture and truly appreciated. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Teatro Massimo, Via Roma, The Cathedral, and plenty of shops bars and restraunts. There is a small convenience store right next door to the hotel, and a pharmacy around the corner. It is approximately 25/ 30 mins by taxi from Palermo airport. Thank you so much to all the staff in Hotel Trinacria, you are wonderful!

Staff are exceptional. Kind, knowledgeable, welcoming. Room was spotless and pleasant. Hotel is beautiful. Near historic district. Quiet. Safe, pleasant neighborhood. My back went out while here (nothing to do with the hotel) and the staff helped me find a cane to buy and allowed us to stay an extra hour. Will stay here again.

A small thing: Bed in 112 should be examined. On the window side, the bed has a large divot making it not level and disturbing a good night’s sleep.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Trinacria. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The included breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh food, lots of variety and the best coffee we had in Italy. Nadia and Georgina were so lovely and we loved seeing their smiley faces each morning. Thank you for a lovely stay!
