Nice hotel, with character. Newly renovated bathrooms very clean. very comfortable beds. Nice staff and lovely pastries for breakfast. Nice view over park and lovely terrace on 1st floor

Although advertised as close to center. It is a long walk in the hot sun. Uber taxi very expensive to hotel. Air conditioning didn't work( leaking a lot of water) but was eventually resolved. Nice breakfast but could do with more savoury choice. Pity cannot enjoy breakfast on terrace. Very small lift. Only 1 person and 1 luggage at a time

Hotel Jolie feels like a cozy wizard’s inn tucked in the heart of Palermo—full of charm, creaky elegance, and vintage vibes. The staff are warm and helpful, the location is perfect, and the decor makes you feel like you’re in a magical old novel. Still, it’s a delightful stay for lovers of character and charm. Bring your curiosity… and maybe a little scented sachet. 😉

One small thing: there’s a faint old smell in the air—maybe from the furniture or linens—that adds a touch too much authenticity. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note if you’re sensitive.

There were a few different people on reception. One guy was very helpful in arranging a taxi pick-up. No cooked breakfast, but there was some variety from day to day. Freshly squeezed juice if you asked. Fridge in the room. Comfy beds. Close to lots of interesting places. Convenient for the airport bus.

The shower head was stuck on the wall quite high; I missed being able to remove this from the wall. Very limited bar services. The hotel was unable to supply a corkscrew, so we needed to go to the restaurant across the road to ask them to open a bottle. I was confused about the payment for city taxes as I asked on Day 1 (check-in) whether we had paid for everything and was told that we had, so this was a bit unclear. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

The interior of the hotel building is very retro and you can smell it in the air as well. The staff members were very nice and helpful. Great location, easy to get to everywhere.

The window of the bathroom is connected to the balcony of the next door room. We could hear the next door guests talking on the phone on the balcony and we'd image they could hear us flushing the toilet while they stay on the balcony. It's a bit awkward. Breakfast is not included, and to have breakfast at the hotel they charge €10 per person for which we thought what they offer for breakfast wasn't worthing the price. There were a couple of cafe on the doorstep outside of the hotel and we went to one of them every morning for breakfast, more choices of breakfast and spent less .

A very cute hotel in a central location. The breakfast included different things everyday which was fun. The staff was kind and helpful, carrying bags and giving recommendations. Just remember to smile and be respectful as well. Easy access to public transportation. The area felt secure and there were many restaurants and bars.

The hotel is in an old building close to central areas, so it's a bit noisy, but I expected that. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine.

The hotel is well situated only a short walk from the Teatro Massimo and an easy walk to the centre. The man at reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room was big and comfortable. There is a bar with a few drinks (the selection is very limited) so we enjoyed a drink on the terrace. Breakfast was buffet style and there was a good selection. Highly recommended.

The only negative was the toilet which was in a tiny space next to the shower. It was quite hard to use!

Excellent budget option! Room 110 was a basic double I booked for single use, and it was very comfortable with a small balcony; I think it might be a bit too cramped with 2 large suitcases. It was quiet, and I was able to sleep with the windows open. Towels changed daily, and housekeeping was good. Friendly staff. EXCELLENT location with good bus links and endless eating and drinking options. You can also walk just about anywhere. I was travelling on my own and felt very save in the neighbourhood.

You make your own coffee for breakfast and it was OK, but not great. The rest of the was OK with the best pistachio croissants I had in three weeks. excellent homemade cake, if you like the real Italian breakfast.

The staff of this hotel were exceptionally accommodating in that I arrived much earlier than anticipated and they were able to provide a room at 6:00 am. They were friendly and helpful. As well, upon leaving, as well as storing my luggage, they made me feel welcome to until my late departure.

The location is quite central and within good walking distance to most sites, but located on a relatively quiet corner. The breakfast was good with many choices.

Overall, Hotel Joli offered great value for the money. The location was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which enhanced our stay.

However, we did encounter one issue. We arranged a taxi to the airport through the hotel, and the reception quoted us 50 euros. Unfortunately, the taxi driver charged us 60 euros, claiming the extra cost was for our luggage. We only had two normal-sized bags, and it seems unreasonable to expect travelers to the airport without luggage.

Very good and quiet location. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Interesting old building with lots of paintings. Very good value for money.

The bathroom was old but serviceable, some guests complain about it but this is fairly reflected in the three star rating and the price.
