The hotel/guest house has great character. The staff are very friendly. The location is brilliant - close to teatro massimo, puppet show, restaurant/bars, and within easy walking distance to lots of great street markets. It is great value for money!

Would have liked a bit more fruit at breakfast. The position of the toilet in the junior suite is a bit tight. But these did not outweigh the positives.

This is a wonderful small hotel which was very clean, tidy and had all the amenities you need. The location was perfect and very safe, easy to get to all landmarks by foot. Laura was so so helpful in getting us oriented and helping with recommendations and assistance with parking our car and navigating the ZTL zones. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Locanda del Gagini for 3 nights and absolutely loved everything about this place. It's very conveniently located in the heart of Palermo, our room was very spacious and the bathroom nice and clean. Silvia made us feel very welcome and served great Italian coffee along with lovely freshly baked goodies (amongst other lovely foods) for breakfast. I would definitely recommend Locanda del Gagini for anyone looking for a place to stay in Palermo

The location is really the strength point, same for the kindness and the availability of the hosts. The breakfast is very good and so the daily cleaning service.

Slightly uncomfortable the steps up to the second floor with a 2yo child, even if the full floor availability created a great privacy advantage. The main window of the room was not opening, but there were small ones easily accessible.

We stayed for two nights at this amazing hotel! The location is excellent and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive — communication was smooth throughout our stay. The bed was also very comfortable. We definitely wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

It’s an old building so only stairs which were fairly steep so not good if you’re carrying a lot of luggage. Only white bread on offer for breakfast. If you want your room cleaned everyday, you need to inform the staff.

The location of this apartment is absolutely perfect- within a 15 minute walk of all the major sights and really close to some amazing restaurants and bars. It’s on a quiet side street with great soundproofing so was really peaceful. Silvia was such a lovely host- so helpful- lots of suggestions about what to do and some great restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was really good- savoury options as well as delicious homemade cakes every morning.

The photos make the apartment look bigger than it is and they have replaced the sofa with 2 single beds so it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Still plenty of space though. Bathroom was quite tired and could do with being renovated.

We spent one night at this hotel and we liked it very much. Despite the location being close to one of the busy traffic streets of Palermo, the hotel is far enough to not be disturbed by it. The rooms are nicely decorated, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is on the small side, but still practical. The location is excellent, very close to most of Palermo's attractions. The staff are very kind and prompt in communicating. The breakfast was good.

especially the owner manager Sylvie went above and beyond to help us with the variable travelers issues that came up for us. very accommodating and available and a great communicator.

would have liked light blocking bedroom curtains, and soft towels. But the room was pretty and spacious.

Rooms were spacious and beautiful. Air Conditions worked perfectly. Staff was incredible and shared their love of the city with us and gave us a great overview of the sights upon check-in.
