Property is centrally located, 4 minute walk from a bus stop for airport shuttle, in a beautiful historic building. Place is so clean and cozy. Every detail makes you feel like home away from home. You have breakfast on the piazza overlooking a gorgeous church. There’s a guide for the city. Liviana is the most kind and thoughtful host you can ever imagine. It is simply stunning with personal recommendations from the host who wants you to fall in love with city, people, culture, music, food. Fantastic!!!!!

The service from the moment we arrived was excellent. We received all the details on how to access B&B BaRock and explanatory films. The person who helped us, Liviana, was always very approachable and gave us tips on tours and means of transport. The room was great, exactly as shown in the photos on Booking.com and the hygiene was perfect. The pillows were new and suited all tastes. The mattress was also perfect. Our stay was excellent =)

Liv is the best host! Very friendly and helpful. Location was great! Near shops, bars, restaurants and sights. So it was the perfect spot for exploring the city. And the B&B itself is worth seeing! I loved the interior design and themed rooms. We stayed at the Grunge room and the interior was very cool.

Breakfast is in the nearby café and you can choose from their breakfast menu. Everything was delicious but it's typical Italian / Sicilian style, so lot's of different sweet options or pizza styled food.

Staying here equals Leaving Paler.mo, feeling the city energy and geeting a full expirience. Location is amzing, in the middle of everything. Rooms are extremely cozy, done with taste, especially for r'n'r lovers :) Liviana, the owner is the Godfather of How to live Palermo :) in the best possible way. Full of tips, advices, which will give you all the real info on how, where and when. Place was very, very, very clean, with great noice isolation. Amazing balcony for smokers, one of those where you feel like home. We had welcome drinks and snacks, a fresh healthy breakfast on spot each morning + additional sicilian breakfast in a 3min walk place. Amzing and authentic expirience.

This is the place to stay in Palermo! Liviana is an absolutely perfect host! A wonderful person, and a really, really good guide! Our room (Glam) was exactly like in the pictures - really extraordinary, designed with much love and so many nice details! The bed ist totally comfy, the room is spacious, the shower is your own little stage including a lightshow, the balcony gives you that perfect "in the middle of town" feeling, and it's really quiet at night. If you come to the city, that is definitely worth a visit, stay here and book the food tour with Liviana! We loved absolutely everything and will definitely come back. Thanks again for everything.

Liviana was so wonderful and helpful throughout. We were there for a special occasion, and I'd asked her to make some suggestions to help us celebrate, she gave plenty of options and made the reservation for us. She was not available when we arrived, but had given very detailed instructions on how to get there (both from the airport, and into the room itself) that were very thorough. She made all aspects of our trip easy! The room itself was as pictured, clean and very nice. Location was also very convenient as a base to see Palermo, and we were happy with our choice!

The only con - we stayed Thursday and Friday night. Thursday night, there was some faint noise from the restaurant below, and that was fine. On Friday night, the bar below us had loud music til 1:30, so I suspect it may only be relevant on the weekends.

Although I never met her, as everything was self check-in, Liv was very helpful and always available with advice on WhatsApp. The location is in the heart of Palermo near all the bars, restaurants and some of the main sights. The room was very cool with a unique decor and there was even a beer and water waiting for me! I recommend Punk Funk bar nearby and Liv's parents' wine bar Mooddica which has amazing Sicilian wines and food.

The rooms are basically bedrooms in a converted apartment. Other guests were staying there but were a bit noisy and either were not aware or considerate of someone else staying there. If you are with a group it is fine but if on your own you will be sharing with 'strangers', a bit like having a private room in a small hostel. The key card buzzers are very loud and you can hear everything in the apartment. The apartment is also in-between two bars which are very noisy on Friday and Saturday. I did not mind as I wanted to go out but if you want somewhere quiet, this is not the place for you.

Everything was perfect! Liviana is an amazing host who made this B&B always an unforgetable experience. We returned here for the second time because there's no other such place which has both great interior, great host, great location, cheap and close parking and everything else. If you are staying here, you must take a guided tour with Liviana! It's one of the best things that happened to us throughout Sicily!

We had an amazing stay here - firstly the location is super central close to the heart of Palermo, the b&b shared area and our room + bathroom was also very clean and spacious, and Liv our host was the most kind and helpful b&b host we have ever met! She was proactive to share with us our check in instructions, provided great recommendations to local places and also went out of her way to help us when we needed some help with our next flight. Thank you so much for having us- highly recommended to stay here! 😌

This must be one of the most stylish B&B's we ever stayed at! From the fifties vibe of the common area to the industrial chic of the rooms themselves, each dedicated to a different type of rock music, every detail fits. We stayed in the 'Grunge' room, featuring a fridge posing as a Marshall amplifier and a customized 19th Century Singer sewing table. Awesome! And don't go thinking it's style over substance, either. The bathroom is spotless and convenient, the bed is super comfy, the fridge spacious, and despite the lively restaurant / wine bar next door, no street noise percolates into the room at night. The courtesy snacks and drinks as well as the booklet brimming with inside information about sights to see and places to eat or drink were a generous touch, too! Which brings me to our gracious host, Liviana. From booking to departure, she was super friendly and flexible throughout, always ready to accommodate our requests and point us to the best cultural and culinary spots in town with a bright smile. (Incidentally, we had some of the best bites and wine of our entire trip at Mooddica, her parents' "enopaninoteca" (basically tasting platters, toasted breads and some truly delicious wines) in La Kalsa.) Oh, and the location is pretty great too, only a short walk from the very center of town without being too busy or overrun with, you know, tourists. So, do yourself a favour and don't look any further than Ba'Rock for your base of operations in Palermo. Truly one of the easiest "recommends" of my travel history!
