It was very central to the City which enabled us to take a train to Cefalu and explore some of the markets and historic sites in Palermo. Our host was very kind to provide information for travellers. It was also very close to the bus station to take us to the airport. We also had the opportunity to receive a complimentary breakfast one morning at a neighbouring cafe.

We had problems contacting the host before we arrived but found someone on the ground floor who helped us call the host to let us in.

Great location near the old city of Palermo - walking area, tourist sites and restaurants nearby. Hosts were very nice.

The property has two rooms on the busy Via Roma, which were very noisy with traffic and two rooms on the alley, which are quieter. Our room description was not accurate - it was called a “suite” with a living room, bedroom and bathroom but it was just a room with a bathroom (with a tiny shower). The “living room” was the breakfast area. So calling it a suite was misleading.

Everything! The most attractive rooms. Modernly furnished. Comfortable bathrooms. Cleanliness was perfection. The location cannot be better. Close to everywhere. The sharing kitchen was most convenient when we wanted to refrigerate some fruit, a salad and our wine. It was right next to our room and was like a haven after a long hot morning out.

If you’re visiting Palermo I would strongly recommend you stay at Albatros B&B. It’s a beautiful apartment in a wonderful location close to all of the areas of interest. The rooms a spacious and spotlessly clean, the breakfast is superb and the Wi-Fi first class. Our hosts were brilliant and looked after us and after a long day of sightseeing coming back to the apartment felt like coming home. We will definitely be back, a real 5 star apartment.

- little bit noisy in the room because of being located in the most busy street of Palermo (not so bad we could sleep well with a few distractions, but if you are really sensitive it might not be the best place for you to sleep in)

The location was great, room clean- bed comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was timely and provided choices- air conditioning was great- we liked everything!!

We were not put off by the buildings entrance since we have experienced other B&B’s in older buildings- trust the pictures - it is nice inside the B&B.

The location enjoyed an enviable position just steps from venues where gastronomy and cultural heritage intertwine to convey the true essence of Sicily, all while offering tantalizing glimpses of haute couture and quintessential Mediterranean architecture.

Location was fabulous. Easy walk to many sites and food areas. The air conditioner worked great and they had a king bed ( unfortunately the mattress was too hard!)

Very very very hard to get in the old front door. Building looked creepy when you entered very dark and old . Also key to door of apartment very very hard to unlock. It took 15-20 min to get the doors open. But the owner did text back pretty quick when we were getting worried about getting in!

Spotless and spacious rooms. room was cleaned everyday which was great. friendly and helpful hosts who gave us some good recommendations. Easy self check-in. Breakfast for $15 euro per couple was great. So handy to have the bus shuttle right outside the hotel! would recommend other travellers to book in advance as this does sell out. location is fantastic, close to many Palermo attractions.

The mattress and pillows were a little uncomfortable but given this is not a 5 star hotel that is acceptable.

The apartment was amazing.The room was spacious.Really comfortable for three people.It was clean and in the heart of city center.You could go everywhere on foot.Our host Rita is really kind and helpful.I would totally recommend it!!
