Hotel Posta for 3* is a really nice hotel with very friendly stuff that can speak English and is helpfull. The communication before arrival was nice, they managed to arrange a transfer for me. I came to hotel sooner and they surprised me with prepared room so I could get a rest before exploring Palermo. The hotel is right at the centrum of Palermo, in walkable distance to all interesting places, it is a little bit more difficult to find, so it is good to go there by taxi. The hotel itself is nice, clean, some people could say a little bit old, but the room was clean, provided clean towels and shower suplies. As the hotel is so close to the centrum and main street, it is a little bit noisy even with closed windows and in the early morning you can hear noise of the other guests and stuff. The breakfast was not typical buffet style, but personal buffet, you get plate of cheese, salami, bread, sweets, fruit, the stuff asks you immediately what kind of coffee/juice you want, what type off eggs you want. It was really tasty. Unfortunately I could stay only one night and had limited time to explore Palermo. As a 3* hotel it was a really nice place to stay and I recommend it to people that do not need luxury place, but nice and friendly, in the centrum od city. Thank you for a pleasant time :)

Excellent staff - friendly and helpful. Air-conditioning was very good in the room during the hot days we were there! Very good sweet and savoury breakfast - cooked eggs to order a no extra charge. Very close to historic area - easy to walk to the Cathedral, the Palace, Teatro Massimo, etc. Very many restaurants and shops just steps away.

No complaints! Some people may want a kettle in the room, but I always travel with mine to have tea early, in my room, before breakfast. 😁 Next time, I wouldn't spend extra for a balcony as it is tiny, so you can't sit out on it.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Posta in Palermo. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, offering great recommendations and taking the time to explain what to see and do in the city. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made a difference. The location is excellent – within easy walking distance to major sights, restaurants, and shops. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and breakfast was very good. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily return!

Delightful place, full of character in an historic area of Palermo. We were recommended to a great restaurant nearby. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We had requested a fan for the room which was provided with no fuss. Lovely breakfast. Not too far from the port, where we landed.

The wardrobe in our room was too rickety to use, which wasn't a problem for one night. Loading luggage into our hire car was a bit of a nightmare in the morning, because of the narrow one way street, but not the hotels fault!

We've been at the Posta several times and really like the staff, their service, and it feels good to return. Good location for airport bus, city busses, and fine breakfast. The rooms are not "fussy" but very comfortable. Same for the bathroom and common facilities. Drinks on the roof terrace if you like. Staff are helpful with tourist info, restaurants, and other local travel advice. AND,, there is a music school across the alley-way (nice small street) from which great music rafts. Rooms with small balconies are the best!

Breakfast was beautiful and served graciously. What was served was tasty. However, there was no protein that I could eat. I would have enjoyed even a hard boiled egg, even a cold, hard boiled egg for protein would be great.

What would serve was lovely, but I had a craving for some American coffee, not Americano. I mean 1/4 strength coffee, with real cream and sugar. My shower drain apparently blocked and the pan filled to almost overflowing onto the floor by the time I was done with my short shower. Also, the head of my bed was lower than the foot of the bed. It seemed an easy matter to just put a small wooden block under the legs of the bed at the head to level it out. I mentioned these items to the desk person and they said, “I know”. The hotel is over 100 years old and all those skeleton keys are kind of cool, they are clumsy, noisy, and time consuming.

Great hotel, centrally located for all the main attractions in Palermo. Staff were friendly and attentive and provided great tips on what to do and where to eat. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean with a small bar fridge to keep drinks cold. The breakfast was sensational! There was fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, cheese, ham, bread and eggs cooked however you like them. Such a good value hotel that I highly recommend!

Great central location in Palermo, close to the train station and all touristic objectives. Breakfast was very good with sweet and salty options and a great coffee. Staff is really kind and helpfull.

No window in the room, just in an extension where the closet and the table with chairs were located. For me it was not very convenient not to have natural light in the morning at wakeup.
