The property was a well-located beautifully converted Palazzo. The decorations were lovely and elegant. There were numerous Italian pastries, available 24/7. There were many nice details which added to the comfort of the stay. The staff was very sweet and quite helpful, polite, and friendly. There were never any issues at all. This was such a nice place to stay!! We would definitely stay here again.

Palazzo del Poeta is in a good location, although we found it a bit difficult to find initially in the car. Once we arrived the hotel took care of our luggage and also parked the car for us - this was a great service on arrival. We were also shown around the hotel and our room. The reception was very welcoming and the staff were outstanding for the whole stay. We loved staying in an old Palazzo and all the character that brings. The bath in the room was great, especially to relieve a tired weary body after so much walking around Palermo! The air conditioning was very effective during hot summer days. We'd definitely recommend the Palazzo del Poeta to others

The breakfast was very generous, although the cooked breakfast wasn't our favourite compared to other hotel stays, but that's a matter of personal preference

Lovely hotel, ozzing with character in terms of the way it has been restored - a perfect marriage of the historic and modern. Location excellent, close to the main areas but in a tranquil side-street, hidden away). Staff were very helpful.

English breakfast fell a little short - the menus referred to baked beans and confit tomatoes but there were no beans and only raw tomatoes on offer.

A splendid blend of the old with the new. Extremely tasteful decor which leveraged the charm of the 400 year old “Palace of the Poet” while providing a totally up to date accommodation. David’s, Noemi, Salvatore and the rest of the staff are dressed smartly and are ready to serve. The breakfast was exquisite, including a wide variety of local pastries, as well as eggs and meat to satisfy our American tastes.

Palazzo del Poeta is a oasis in the busy city of Palermo. The owner has used her love of the city and artistic ability to create a most beautiful retreat for the traveller following 5 years of renovation/restoration.It is walking distance to everything situated right off of Via Roma but on an extremely quiet small street minutes to transit and attractions. Our room was exquisite with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with cooked eggs available on request . Pastries and beverages are also available all day in a separate convenient location to our room. Staff were very helpful and professional. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. The owner provided restaurant suggestions of which we tried two which were delicious. We loved Palermo and staying at Palazzo del Poeta was exceptional.

Excellent location on the narrow street across from archeological museum. It was very kind of the hotel concierge lady to park the car in the garage for us and bring it back to the front of the hotel the next day.

Difficult to find the hotel as there were no signs of the hotel and I missed it going back and forth the street. I should have known that it was at the doorbell of entrance that has the hotel name.

Loved the kitchenette and couch are in our room. Comfy bed. Made it easy to relax in the room. Location and staff were amazing! Breakfasts were also great!

Well- there is a piano school closeby - and neighborhood kids were screaming late into the night- but that is not in the control of the hotel.

We loved our stay at Palazzo del Poeta. The building is in a fantastic location, very walkable to all the sites we wanted to see. The place is like a museum, so beautiful! Our room was perfect for our honeymoon. The beds were comfy and the kettle in the room was nice to have tea before bed. There was unlimited coffee and pastries at all hours which was delicious! Breakfast was included and it was great. The staff is very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We overall loved our stay here and would definitely recommend, especially for couples.

Our air conditioner stopped working one night, however the hotel team made sure to get it fixed right away and it was working properly by the next day.

Convenient location. Snacks and a variety of drinks including juices, alcoholic beverages and coffee/tea were available throughout the day. Staff was very helpful. Only downside was that the bathtub in our room was not working which was unfortunate as we were looking forward to it.
