Mama Tita rooms are on the first floor of an old style building in a nice and quiet area of the city centre. Main historical sites are at walking distance (from 15min). Our room had high ceiling and a little balcony. It was clean, cosy and nicely decorated. We liked the chromotherapy lights in the shower cubicle. Roms are equipped with AC, kettle, small fridge and TV. The highlights of this accommodation are for sure the breakfast, which is served in the hall where all rooms open onto, and the host Giovanni. The breakfast is a typical sicilian breakfast with delicious traditional pastries and cakes, and you also have fresh fruit. Giovanni is a lovely and friendly host who tangibly enjoys talking to people and getting to know his guests. He shared with us precious tips of places to visit and to eat in Palermo and beyond. He gave us info on how to get to places, on parking and more. He helped us optimise our two days in this beautiful city. We will recommend Mama Tita to family and friends for sure and we hope to go back some day.

Just a minor suggestion, one of the two pillow sets provided could be replaced with lower pillows.

I have stayed here for 3 nights in the single-bed room. Even though I arrived the facility before the check-in time, my room was ready and I was very grateful for being able to settle in fastly and relax before going to explore the city. The place isn't at the historical center but the neighborhood is much more safer and peaceful, and you can reach there by walking from the city center or taking the AMAT city bus very easily. The room was very clean, and the bed was very big and comfy! You can access to Netflix and Youtube with the TV. The minibar was full with water, local beer and fruit juices. The breakfast was delicious, the apartment of the facility is historical and beautiful!!! Giovanni thinks everything for his visiters and treats to them like their one of his family member!!! He was very welcoming and helpful from the very first moment to the end :) He gave me the city map and marked every place to worth to visit. He also recommended to me the beautiful local restaurants, and encouraged me to improving my Italian <3 Giovanni thank you for everything; for your kindness, for your smiley face and very importantly THANK YOU for helping me to understanding the airport shuttle bus and making sure I got there safely and easily!!! As I said before, if I have a chance, one day I will come again, and that time I will bring my familly with me. This place will stay in my heart forever because it gave me the feeling of home. We had a wonderful stay at Mama Tita. The owner (Giovanni) made us feel very welcome and was an excellent host, very friendly and accomodating - he also gave us lots of ideas for where to visit during our stay. We had to check in late at night due to a late flight but the check in was straight forward with clear instructions to follow. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It felt safe and homely too. The location is good, it is roughly a 10 minute walk from the ‘centre’ but much quieter which we were glad of. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants close by and we enjoyed the wander along to the busy centre. Breakfast was lovely with fresh baking each morning. If I return to Sicily I will definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Property is located a short distance from the historical centre of Palermo. The apartment was tastefully decorated and very stylish. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was so comfortable, I actually had a few nights decent sleep which is rare for me. The host Giovanni is a lovely man, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was typical sweet Sicilian with cakes and pastries. I have some issues with sugar regulation so Giovanni brought me some boiled eggs from home as I couldn’t have the sweet breakfast. This was very thoughtful and kind and very much appreciated. We had a wonderful time visiting Palermo and would highly recommend this property as base if staying in the area. Check in/check out was swift and efficient. Thank you again Giovanni for a wonderful stay.

Giovanni, the host, was amazing!! We would love to give 100 points. He helped us with travel arrangements from the airport, gave restaurant tips, map and recommendations what to do. The checkout day we could leave luggage at the hotel. Thanks for everything. We’ll be back. The hotel was good situated, close to public transport, bars and restaurants. A bus stop just around the corner and could drive easily to the city and beach. No problems. The rooms were beautiful!!! The bathrooms stunning!!! The best was the breakfast with typical Palermo cakes and fresh fruits, etc. We loved it really a lot and would recommend this place - it felt like home.

When you are away from home, you appreciate the cleanliness the most, the host's ability to make you feel at home. That's how it was at Mama Tita room and breakfast. I loved the hospitality of Giovanni, a warm, welcoming, attentive and kind man, as well as his willingness to share with us the Sicilian culinary experience. Also, the attention to detail in terms of the design of the room, offers extra comfort, allowing you to feel that the host gave all his interest to make you feel good. All the information I received (about the tourist attractions in Palermo and its surroundings, about a restaurant with decent food) made me appreciate our host even more.

I’m sure this was one of my best experiences/hotel bookings ever. Giovanni is the kindest, welcoming and most caring host you can find in Palermo. He makes sure you’re comfortable and have a nice experience in Palermo. His restaurant tips have been amazing, since they are not the classic tourist restaurants but true Italian restaurants that serve typical sicilian food and very affordable. Furthermore, he makes excellent sightseeing suggestions and always strives to make your stay a fantastic experience. The B&B is located centrally, you’re able to enjoy Palermo by foot easily without being exactly in the busiest streets of Palermo, so you can enjoy a quiet night without it being too loud from the streets. The B&B is very modern, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Giovanni also serves a great typical Sicilian sweet breakfast, which is very delicious. He was the sweetest host you can imagine and surprised me with a birthday cake for my birthday. It was such a kind and heartfelt gesture. I can 100% recommend Giovanni and Mama Tita Rooms and Breakfast! Definitely will book again when I come back to Palermo.

Giovanni Is a amazing host! I travel alone and he gave me tips to eat out and organize a car the bus and train tickets. The breakfast was perfect and I was also asked if I would like something else additionally. The rooms are very cozy and modern and the mattresses are also very good! The bus to the beach is only 3min away, as is the bus to the train station and the airport. The center can be reached on foot about 10 min and by bus in 3 minutes. Thank you Giovanni! I'll be back for sure

Location-Right at edge of nice part of old town where the nice stores are The apt is refurbished in an old building. Decorations are very pretty. Nice fresh coffee, pastries and fruits daily. Owner is nice and helpful.

There were three of us in one big room. There was a bed and one sofa bed. The sofa bed was super uncomfortable and slanted to one side. We like to make our own dinner once in a while but here you cannot use the kitchen. This note is just FYI, I would not stay in Palermo next time as it is big city chaotic and dirty. Manedllo Beach, for example, is just 20 minutes away and beautiful.

We had the best stay at Mama Tita’s B&B! The location is in a quiet residential area but still walkable to sites and there are many good restaurants near by. Immaculate, stylishly decorated, fresh breakfasts and the most kind host you could ever imagine. Giovanni puts a lot of love into his work. He set up late check in for us and was super helpful in getting us a ride to the airport. His love for his family is reflected in the room names and the beautiful arts that brightens the place. I loved his refridgertor, I asked him to pose by it :)
