An amazing place! The rooms and entire building are absolutely stunning—we felt more like we were visiting friends than staying in a hotel. Breakfast was delightful, served in a beautiful dining room, and the location couldn’t be better, with everything just a short distance away. Pistoia turned out to be a wonderful city, even though it’s not as widely known. Every staff member was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, impeccably clean, and stylishly decorated. Truly one of the most charming hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in!

The only minus for me was the mattress, as I personally prefer a softer one.

Everything was fabulous - the building, the location, the atmosphere so very special - a real feeling of living history "at home" -, the fantastic breakfast, the services (you can have access to tea, coffee, some sweet wine and candies in the tearoom), the wonderful smile and welcome of everyone of the staff - Chiara first of them... I travel a lot and everywhere but I would without a doubt recommended this above all valuable 9 rooms hotel for Pistoia as you get a no where else experience "à part et nulle part ailleurs" that will add so much to your stay! On a practical point of view, there is a lift :-); the duomo is 3-4 minutes away so you are right where you want to be at the heart of history and still enjoy quietness.

only thing that I would change is the addition of a minibar because of the hot weather :-)

The interior style of the rooms I had access to was really beautiful, a lot of details were put into it The staff was really friendly, polite and attentive Closeby there is a parking space and the city centre, also you just need a little walk to the Pistoia station or some supermarkets since the city isn't too big For being included in the price the breakfast variety was good The WiFi worked well

Since the building is old and the outter walls are thin you could clearly hear people and music from the streets during the late evening, since I was able to fall asleep quickly it didn't matter that much but it could annoy other guests

What a beautiful palazzo! It's in a fantastic position in the centro storico with so many places to eat and drink nearby. Our room (number 5) was huge with a fantastic painted ceiling and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good (standard Italian fare) with lovely old fashioned cups and saucers etc. There is even a snack station in the lounge area with free tea, coffee and cake available at any time. Special mention for Francesca on reception (and breakfast duty) who was so friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us lots of great suggestions of things to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, it was all great.

This is one of a kind hotel that deserves the top score from us. We visited many various hotels in the past(acceoss Europe and worldwide), but this one is certainly the best so far. We felt very special when staying there. All areas provide the sense of grandure and are simply beautiful. the the chill out room with Chester sofas, where expresso machine, cantucci with liqueur and even a cake was all made available with no extra charge. The breakfast room was also beautiful with a jazz music gently playing in the background. That makes a simple beeakfeast an experience in itself. Both resceptionists were also very friendly and very happy to help (not always a case in Italy). Generally the whole experience was 11 out of 10.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Garage was very close. Room was large and beds comfortable. Breakfast was fine with an assortment of sweet and savory items.

There was road construction on the road to the garage. When we drove around, we ended up on 1 road in the ztl. When we got to Palazzio, we had no one to greet us. We used the code we were given to let ourselves in, even though it was 16:00, their normal check-in time. We never saw anyone till breakfast the next day. When I told her about having gone into ztl, she said that was yesterday and she couldn't help us. Now we may end up with an expensive ticket when we get back home.

An elegant hotel in a great location in old Pistoia. The staff are delightful. The breakfast was plentiful, as were the cappuccinos and teas and cookies available throughout the day. Everything was great and totally recommend. In the old centre we were close to so many great restaurants and enjoyed fantastic meals. We also were 15 minutes walk to the train station so we could easily get anywhere we wanted in Tuscany, including to Montecatini Terme for a bike trip and wine tasting. Love!

All good!

The single room I had was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious, towels and free toiletries were provided. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of sweet and savoury items to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is lovely in the historical centre of Pistoia and some of the ceilings are painted. It is about 15 minutes' walk from the railway station. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

This location is a real treat. The building itself with the decoration and furniture are beautiful. The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were given the accessible room which was very large with appropriate bathroom facilities. I love the common "reading room" for an apperitivo not to mention the delicious and very generous breakfast offering. I would go back to Pistoia just to stay at this hotel again!

nothing i did not like

It was perfectly situated and a lovely place to stay. Rooms were clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were so helpful

The only thing was one of our rooms had scaffolding up, so there was no view. It would have been nice to have been made aware of this. Especially when the work started early on Monday morning.
