I loved my stay at the Battistero so much. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and so helpful! The rooms were large and clean, and the room I had which looked out onto the Beautiful square was perfect. The soundproofing was also great, as it’s really buzzy in the evenings and when I’d had enough and gone to my room you couldn’t hear any of it 😊 the breakfast was lovely and lots of options if you wanted them. I would definitely return, Pistoia was so lovely and this stay added to my enjoyment of exploring it!

Excellent location, right behind St. John's Baptistry and Piazza del Duomo, a few steps away from a number of good restaurants and bars, 10 minutes walk from the train station from where you can take a 45 minutes trip to Florence, should you wish so. The hotel staff were very helpful (thank you, Lorenzo!), room clean and not too small, beds comfortable, air conditioning set at just the right level, breakfast rich with local delicacies and homemade pastries ..., in short, a place to be recommended without hesitation.

Breakfeast was excellent, staff was very nice and helpful, good parking near the hotel and location in the heart of Pistoia.

I would like to give a 10, but unfortunaly we had a problem with the air conditioner at our room, changed rooms, but the air conditioner at the new room also had problems, was unable to go bellow 25 celcius. Looks like their ac system is not enough during summer, and they seem to be aware of that, as there was additional floor fans in both rooms. They really need to upgrade their ac system.

Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of Pistoia. Lorenzo was there to meet us and let us check in a bit earlier which is always fantastic. That gave us time to start exploring this quaint town. We were close to lots of little restaurants and shops of all type. Explored some churches, but Pistoia is more about relaxing, walking around and talking to the locals. Margherita who cleaned our room daily was so nice and looked after us very well. There was a coffee machine and stocked bar fridge if wanted. There was ample breakfast although no cooking facilities for bacon and eggs, toast etc but there was cereal, yoghurt, breads, sliced cold meats and cheeses. Cake and coffee, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, do plenty to start the day and Lorenzo and Nicolo will look after you.

Quaint little hotel right in the center of everything. Perfect location, so many restaurants, cafes, the daily fruit and vegetable market, the wednesday and saturday flea market, just a short 10 minute walk to the train station. Everyone was so nice, very responsive to messages after I scheduled and had a question. Waking up to the view of the Baptistry was so amazing. I'm very happy with my stay here and will definitely be returning.

I and my wife recently had the pleasure of staying at Battistero Residenza d’Epoca, a charming boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Pistoia. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that pervades this gem of a hotel. The hotel offers a delightful breakfast each morning, featuring a variety of fresh, local products. From artisanal breads and pastries to delectable cheeses and charcuterie, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start each day. One of the standout features of the hotel is the exceptional treatment of every guest. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone feels special and well taken care of. Whether it’s recommending the best local restaurants, arranging transportation, or simply engaging in friendly conversation, their commitment to outstanding service is evident in everything they do. At our first breakfast there, we had a pleasant conversation with Lorenzo and mentioned how much we love local fruits, especially figs and sweet cherries. Within a few minutes, he brought them to our table. The next morning, our table was already set with figs and cherries waiting for us. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Pistoia. It is within walking distance of the town's main attractions and numerous charming shops and cafes. Despite being centrally located, the hotel maintains a peaceful and quiet ambiance, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Location was great. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items, both sweet and savory. Very clean. Lorenzo was very helpful and gave Great suggestions. Easy walk to train station if you want to take train into Firenze. My tummy was upset one day and the cleaning lady gave me some chamomile tea that helped. Garage was a 5 min walk from the B and B.

Nothing remarkable. Had elevator to help with luggage and stairs. The shower in our room was oddly placed, but worked well.

Wonderful staff! Everyone was very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent with many great bars, shops and excellent restaurants just steps away. We stayed in room 401 with the rooftop patio and amazing light and views from all the windows. We could not believe how close we were to the Battistero! This stay definitely set the bar very high for the remainder of our holiday!. Thank you!

this hotel is one of the best I have ever been. Just highly professional people can run such a hotel, everything is perfect. And I had the best sleep there since a long time (better then at home). I stayed there now the 4x time. we could not have breakfast as we needed to go to the port in livorno next day and they made us an unbelievable healthy and delicious breakfast to go, we were so happy. nothing to complain, just very happy customers who will come back for sure.

The deluxe suite on the top floor is really luxurious, affording views over the main square and pretty much the entire skyline. The small rooftop balcony is really snug, and was lined with pots with beautiful flowers, which is a really nice touch. The amount of space is ample, at least for a couple. Staff were exceptionally accommodating. I had some of the most delicious bread I‘ve ever had in Italy at the copious breakfast buffet. Pistoia itself is well worth a visit if you‘ve already been to Tuscany once or twice before, for its beautiful churches and squares.

The only trouble about the room was the incessant buzzing of the ventilation, which was really quite intrusive. I had to use earplugs. Perhaps this has by now been fixed, at least the receptionist promised as much.
