Hotel staff and overall ambiance was lovely.

Shower was too small for average person. It would be nice to include the beach access on overall cost as there is no pool. Staff at the Grotta Palazze Restaurant were not very friendly considering the cost of the meal .

Beautiful sea view,very quiet, very private. Great parking. 

Beach extra charge

I love the location. It is truly a paradise. The staff was extremely accommodating as well. The food was delicious, and the design was simple and luxurious at the same time.

My only word of caution, I fell. I'm clumsy so it's understandable, however, my husband isn't and he fell too. The beautiful tile outside of the restaurant can mess with your eyes. Becareful not to miss the step going down. ***I got mud on me when I fell and the staff showed genuine concern and had my clothing cleaned for me and didn't charge me at all. The grounds are safe, however, if you are clumsy like me, please watch your step***

Beautiful resort, spotless very pleasant staff. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

No shuttle into Polignano a Mare so expect to pay 15Euros each way for a Tuk Tuk. They aren’t transparent about the cost of using their beach located directly in front of the hotel. It’s 100 Euros per person per day which is totally ridiculous. They had four people on the beach during low season doing one persons job. The beach towels come wrapped in plastic which is horrible for the environment. If they are going to charge extra to use their beach maybe they should change the name of the hotel to Grotta Palazzese Hotel and optional Beach Club. And list the price on booking instead of telling people when they get there otherwise it seems shady.

This is the most beautiful hotel...clean and comfortable with an amazing view. The staff is wonderful as well! Great breakfast, parking available, and many amenities. I wish we were staying longer!

It is expensive! And, we were not aware that the Grotta Palezzese and the Grotta Palezzese Beach hotel are in 2 different locations. If you make dinner reservations at the restaurant, do be aware that you need to either drive or take the hotel shuttle if staying at the beach hotel.

the view is great plus the bedroom is big with nice shower,. also big complements to the nice and friendly staff: Nicolas at the reception at night, Paolo and the guys at the beach, the cleaning ladies and the breakfast as well, although they were clearly understaff at breakfast.

the hotel is nice but expensive and snob for what it is, the food is bad for Puglia standards and there is not a lot of options… they say the beds are king size but it’s queen, they say the beach is private but there is a lido close to it with a lot of people, they keep the first roll chairs for who is at a suite 🙄 plus a cheap beer (less than 1 euro at the market) it’s 10 euros! ok it’s a 5star hotel but it comes warm and in a paper cup, plus I the mini fridge does not cool the drinks and the internet does not work

we stayed for our honeymoon and the staff looked after us and nothing was too much of an ask. Vito recommended us great restaurants and booked us in and a car to rent, he will look after you! it’s a great location by the water, beach club and only 10min drive from town and 30min from Bari.

We went in September and it was low season as the beach club was closed next to the property, if you don’t like no one around then come in September! we liked that it wasn’t busy, and quiet!

The fact that you have to pay extra for the beach . I would prefer it was included in the room price and gave a place guaranteed . Otherwise equip well the garden with beds and make that free

Beach was great with helpful guys giving towels out. Breakfast was amazing with great staff serving. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Room too small, shower far too small, when washing my hair kept banging my head on the wall. Room very basic no where to sit apart from the bed. No hooks in the bathroom for towels etc.

everything, we love everything. first of all the people are amazing. we would not be able to explain because they did more than expected. the hotel is beautiful. the location is perfect. I hope we will have the opportunity to return for a longer stay.
