Our stay at Bella Roma was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Christian and his wife welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. Their hospitality went above and beyond any expectation — always proactive, eager to help, and genuinely happy to make our experience in Rome unforgettable. Christian’s guidance and tips for exploring the city were invaluable and truly made a difference in our trip. They even welcomed our dog as if he were part of their family, which touched us deeply and made our stay extra special. The accommodation itself is comfortable and well-located, but what makes Bella Roma truly exceptional is the heart and energy that Christian and his wife put into hosting. Their kindness and generosity are priceless. We would absolutely recommend Bella Roma to anyone visiting Rome — you won’t just find a place to stay, you’ll find a home away from home.

Location near the Vatican City but that is all. Anything else plan on a taxi to get to the other sightseeing destinations. It is easiest to walk to a near Taxi stand than calling and waiting. My wife wanted to stay near the Vatican City so if that is what your looking for you might like this place. I didn't. I only give it a good rating for being clean and the hosts were very helpful.

The rooms were on a lower level so there were no views or windows to open. Felt like a tight, small box. There was no breakfast (although advertised) and what we were looking forward to!! Due to Covid they no longer provide breakfast. We were advised at check in. NOT WORTH THE COST. Disappointing bedroom (space is shared with 3 other rooms... not private as other guest kept knocking on our door asking questions). THIS IS NOT A BED AND BREAKFAST. The room had a Nespresso machine but never any Nespresso pods, it was instant Nescafe and an overpriced water heater. SO SO Bad.

I wish it had cooking plates. In the photo there was breakfast served but I saw no option there. Anyway good stay in total, we liked it.

The location was good as it was close to the metro and just a few blocks away from the Vatican. The people were friendly and helpful.

Te location is great, few minutes walking distance from the Vatican and shops. No breakfast included but there are several places to eat in a 2 - 3 block range.

I didn't know my room was going to be down the stairs, kind of a basement setup so my window was at the street floor level so I couldn't open my window to get fresh air or else all the dust from the street floor will get inside.

While I booked Bella Roma, I was instead put up in Grand Tour Roma Guest House. Both are in the exact same building. But obviously I don't know whether there are any differences. Coming to accessing the room, the staff was really helpful in sending me a video (excellently made) on how to access the room which made it super easy. The room is in an apartment with 4 other rooms but it is very comfortable and has a private bathroom. In terms of location, it is super close to Vatican City which is a 10 minute walk. Numerous restaurants are also located close by. All in all it was decent value for money and a good location. So i would recommend. Plus shoutout to the staff who are always available on WhatsApp and very helpful.

Lovely building, comfy bed and friendly helpful staff.

Absolutely nothing like the pictures shown! We had a nice room with a Juliet balcony and jacuzzi bath. Though there was nothing really ‘luxury’ about the room.

We were traveling as a family of four. We enjoyed staying in the Palermo Room. The staff was very friendly, informative and helpful. The location was ideal for our visit to the Vatican Museum and just a short Metro ride to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. This is a place we would return to again.
